[AH, HE’S gone.]
Winchell felt a numbing pain after Solaris drew his last breath.
It was actually a miracle that he got a few minutes to talk to his son after his heart and Core got crushed to the point that even he could tell that it was impossible to fix.
Of course, he didn’t entertain the fact that Solaris’ Core couldn’t be fixed anymore.
However, him clinging to hope didn’t change the outco.
Solaris was already gone.
"This isn’t right," Winchell whispered, his voice full of agony, as he embraced his son. "No parent should experience burying their own child."
But he had to.
Winchell promised Solaris that he would take a piece of his soul and bring it to Solenn.
Hence, to do that, he had to burn his son’s body to ashes.
Since his fla was the hottest fla in the world, Solaris’ body turned to ashes almost instantly.
[Solaris...]
"I was never a good father to you when you were alive," Winchell whispered, then he raised his head and glared at the Moon God who was currently lting the ice spear that Kiho had thrown at him. "But I will avenge you."

Hmm?
Luna was surprised when she noticed that Roarke Sinclair and Jason Crawford were crying.
As in full-on sobbing.
[It’s strange to see two grown n cry like children. My heart breaks for them.]
To be honest, Luna wanted to celebrate because the ancient magic circle had finally been deactivated. She was about to thank Roarke and Jason for lending her their fla and Mana, which made closing the ancient magic circle quicker than if she had done it alone.
But she didn’t feel like celebrating anymore.
"Uhm, the ancient magic circle has been deactivated already," Luna said hesitantly. "Thank you for your help. You may stop pouring your Mana into the circle already."
Jason and Roarke just nodded politely towards her.
Then, as soon as his hands left the ancient magic circle, Jason used them to cover his crying face. He sobbed harder after that.
Roarke tried to wipe the tears off of his face, but it was no use because his tears were falling like waterfalls.
[Oh, no...]
"Urgh..."
She heard a controlled sobbing behind her, so she looked over her shoulder.
Much to her surprise, she saw Maddox and Braxton Atkinson fall to their knees while crying. The twins were still using their power to support Noel Sherwood– who looked as bewildered as Luna– and the barrier.
[Why are they crying...?]
"It’s the F-Fire Archmage, Mother."
Luna turned to Roarke who had turned into a sobbing ss. "What happened to Lord Solaris?"
"H-He’s gone, Mother," Roarke said between sobs. "Lord Solaris is gone."
What...?
Luna felt a chill down her spine, guilt weighing heavy in her heart.
[Is it because I sent Lord Solaris and the others to the palace?!]

"N-NO..."
"Lord Solaris..."
Tilly’s face hardened while listening to Wong and Kelsi cry their heart out.
She didn’t have to ask why the two were crying.
As the Supre Fire Mage, she felt it– she felt it the mont Solaris’ fla was extinguished for good.
[My nephew is gone...]
"Ah. Why am I wasting my ti here?" Tilly, who was seething inside, walked towards Yumi like a predator walking towards their prey. "How dare the likes of you take the life of my nephew?"
Yumi, who was clearly not herself at the mont, just scread.
It was a scream that summoned the black snakes engulfed in a dark violent fla that could only be the Hellfire.
But it was weak compared to the Hellfire that she saw Aku Moonchester summon before.
Tilly protected herself with her red fla.
The black snakes that hit the barrier around her were imdiately burned to ashes.
But it wasn’t enough to alleviate her anger.
Hence, Tilly grabbed a handful of black snakes that tried to attack her. The black snakes hissed, but she just twisted their bodies and tore off their heads before burning them. Yes, it was a barbaric action.
But she didn’t care.
She continued killing the black snakes that she got her hands on in that cruel way until she reached Yumi.
The White Snake looked shocked that Tilly was unscathed by her stupid black snakes.
"It’s ti to wake up, Mother," Tilly said, slapping Yumi across the cheek as hard as she could– causing the White Snake to fall to the ground while holding the cheek that Tilly had just slapped. "Wake up and answer my questions, you hopeless wench."
Yumi’s eyes had returned to normal when she looked up at Tilly with a shocked look on her face, blood trickling down the side of her mouth. It seed like the White Snake had accidentally bitten the insides of her mouth because of Tilly’s hard slap. "How dare you slap , you ungrateful brat?!"
Tilly just grabbed Yumi by the hair and pulled her up until their eye level was even. The White Snake was screaming like the madwoman that she was from the mont Tilly grabbed her hair until she lifted her up.
[So damn noisy.]
"When did Kyro turn into a demon?"
The White Snake looked shocked at first, then she laughed in a mocking way. "A demon? My husband isn’t a demon."
Tilly slapped Yumi on her other cheek this ti.
She didn’t slap the White Snake as hard as she did earlier because she was grabbing her by the hair. Even so, her slap was hard enough to scratch Yumi’s face and leave a mark on her skin.
The White Snake glared at Tilly while hissing.
"Don’t play smart with because it doesn’t suit you, White Snake," Tilly warned her mother-in-law coldly. "I’ll ask you again and you better answer properly this ti if you don’t want to get beaten to a pulp." She tightened her grip on Yumi’s hair. "When did Kyro beco a demon, and how?"
"I told you– my husband isn’t a re demon," Yumi said smugly, then she laughed at Tilly’s face. "He’s the Devil himself, you ignorant wench."
What...?
Tilly felt a chill down her spine.
[How did the Moon God beco the Devil?!]
