"MAKE a weapon out of the "sun" that I just spat out?" Tilly asked while looking at the small ball of dark energy floating in front of her. It actually felt like a mini Black Hole to her. "Can’t I just throw that thing at the enemy? I feel like using it as it is would work well."

The Black Fla just gave her a judgntal look.

Argh.

It was awkward because the Black Fla had her appearance as a child.

[So, it feels like my younger self is judging .]

"Supre, do you believe that your fla is the strongest fla in the world?"

"I do," Tilly said confidently. "Isn’t that the reason I was nad the Supre Fire Mage? People have acknowledged the fact that my fla was even stronger than my brother’s fla even though he was the Red Phoenix."

"Then you’re being too complacent, Supre."

"Really?"

"The Hellfire," the Black Fla said. "As its na suggested, I believe you already have an idea as to where it ca from."

Argh.

The conversation was giving her goosebumps now.

"Well, since it’s called ’Hellfire,’ then I assu it’s the fla that demons use to roast the souls of those who are dood for eternity," Tilly said, shrugging nonchalantly. She was acting like she wasn’t getting an ominous vibe from what the Black Fla was trying to say. "But we’re talking about the strongest fla in the WORLD. I don’t think we should count the fla that belonged... down there."

’Down there’ obviously referred to Hell.

To be honest, she wasn’t comfortable talking about it.

[I may not have ascended to the heavens as an official god. But my brother is a Beast God, hence I was raised in an environnt that strongly opposed the existence of Hell.]

To be exact, the existence of the Devil.

[The Devil is the natural enemy of the gods, after all.]

"Supre, your fla is no longer the strongest fla in the world," the Black Fla said bluntly, confirming Tilly’s bad feeling. "The Hellfire is already here."

Oh, god.

If the Hellfire had already made it to the human world, then it could only an one thing.

"The Devil is here," Tilly said nervously, gulping hard. "But how? The gods have sealed the Devil and the entire Demon Race a long ti ago."

It happened during the ’Unrecorded Holy War.’

Apparently, the Devil used to be a god that resided in the heavens, too. But for so reason, the Devil was kicked out of heaven and voluntarily went to Hell. But instead of repenting for his sins, the Devil actually unearthed the monsters older than most gods themselves. The Devil then called those monsters ’demons.’

Many, many centuries ago, the Devil once succeeded in opening the one and only Demon Gate that allowed the demons to invade the human world.

A bloody war followed.

Of course, the gods won and they managed to seal the Devil along with the Demon Race.

Even so, the damage (and trauma) that the war caused took a heavy toll on the gods.

"The gods forbid everyone from even ntioning the Devil and the Demon Race. They also practically erased the humans’ mories of them," Tilly said, her voice trembling a bit. "After all, they don’t want the humans to rember such a scary existence. They also wanted to prevent anyone from summoning the Devil or opening the Demon Gate again."

After all, the gods weren’t confident that they would be able to defeat the Devil and the Demon Race again.

[This is crazy.]

"Hey, Black Fla," Tilly said, knitting her eyebrows. "If you knew all along the Devil was in this world, why didn’t you tell right away?"

"Because I was with your forr Spirit Guardian before we were reunited. I didn’t think that she deserved to know sothing as important as the Devil’s existence."

Right.

Lucina Morganna, Tilly’s forr Spirit Guardian, had stolen the Black Fla from her.

[And I’ve just retrieved the Black Fla recently.]

"Moreover, I didn’t have a concrete piece of evidence until just now," the Black Fla said. "Just a few monts ago, I felt the existence of the Hellfire. Hence, only did I confirm that either the Devil or the demons have once again stepped foot in the human world."

Tilly massaged her temples, then she looked at the floating mini Black Hole in front of her. "So, when you said I have to turn that thing into a weapon, do you an to say a weapon that would work against the Devil?"

"We can’t lose to the Hellfire."

"Huh? Are you suddenly feeling competitive?"

"I SHOULD be the strongest fire in the world."

Gosh, the entitlent...

"I don’t want to lose my title to so stupid violet fire," the Black Fla said firmly, then she pointed at the mini Black Hole floating between them. "Hence, please infuse with the weapon you’ll be making, Supre."

A weapon, huh?

She wasn’t really used to weapons since she was a mage. However, when the Black Fla wouldn’t stop yapping about making a weapon, only one thing entered her mind.

"Should I make it?" Tilly whispered, tilting her head to one side. "A crab mallet."

KIHO knew that he shouldn’t be trusting an enemy’s words so easily, but he got so distracted by the implication of what Aku Moonchester said earlier.

[The Moon God can’t be a demon...]

He wasn’t worried about his father– he was worried about sothing else.

Aku Moonchester, who seed to have read the emotions on his face, laughed. "Are you afraid that you might be carrying the blood of a demon, Brother?"

He wasn’t worried about himself either.

[If it was true that I was the son of a demon, then I’m afraid that I may have passed my filthy blood to my precious children...]

Ah, no.

He imdiately condemned himself for already assuming that Aku Moonchester was telling the truth.

"Stop speaking nonsense," Kiho said sternly. "I don’t believe a word you say."

He was ready to fight again.

However, the debris of the wall that collapsed earlier began shaking– causing a skyquake in the process.

The vibration gave Kiho the chills.

[This feeling...]

"Ah, your father is back," Aku Moonchester said, laughing while looking past Kiho’s shoulder. "I wonder if you’ll recognize the Moon God at this rate."

Kiho turned around to see what the emperor was looking at.

The answer to Aku Moonchester’s question earlier was ’no.’

How could Kiho recognize the Moon God when all he could see behind him was the Devil itself?

[IT’S COLD...]

Winter knew that he was already back in the present ti.

He barely rembered attacking his daddy when he was out of his mind. Then, probably to knock him out, his father froze him.

Now he was suspended in the air while still in the form of the Moon Serpent.

[But why am I so cold? I could handle Daddy’s ice before. So, why am I freezing now?]

"It’s so cold," Winter cried to himself. "Mommy, Daddy, Julian..."

"Should I warm you up, little one?"

Huh???
