When the barbarian Death Knight, Saturio, arrived at the street near the demolished mall, both Curtis and Zac stood before the tall and burly man.
Saturio towered above the pair, as he was almost seven feet tall, and when the barbarian glanced at Zac, his interest was piqued.
"You, boy! You are a warrior, right!?" Saturio asked, seemingly excited.
"What's your na!?" he continued.
Zac replied and gave his na with a bit of hesitation, prompting Saturio to laugh wholeheartedly before introducing himself.
"I'm the barbarian king, Saturio, and I've been looking for the hero who would defeat !" The Death Knight shouted.
"What? You are looking for soone who can defeat you?" Zac pondered, confused about the undead's words.
"That's right!" Saturio replied with excitent, taking another closer look at the redhead.
"That red hair, that stable aura… Zac, where are you from?" he asked.
Zac raised an eyebrow, not understanding why the man was asking so many inoffensive questions, and replied by saying that he had been born and raised in Novis.
"Hmm, so, you are not from Terra…" Saturio comnted with a slightly disappointed tone.
"Then, how co your aura is that powerful?" The barbarian asked, knowing that ordinary people from Earth weren't even aware of magic.
"It's a long story…" Zac replied, prompting Saturio to laugh out loud.
"HA! Very well, then! My instincts are always right… Rise to the challenge, Zac the warrior!" Saturio exclaid.
In the blink of an eye, Saturio advanced all the way forward and appeared right in front of Zac, raising an arm overhead with his fist clenched. However, before he could finish his attack, a fireball hit Saturio's face.
"Sorry, I'm here as well, so I can't just let you fight alone…" Curtis interjected.
The impact released a small cloud of smoke that covered Saturio's face, allowing Zac to take a few steps back to regain his distance. Still, the barbarian didn't move a single inch from his spot.
When the smoke dissipated, the pair realized that it had no effect on Saturio, as his face only had a tiny mark from the attack.
'What the hell is this guy made of?' Zac pondered, knowing that a fireball to the face would've at least burned his hair.
"Yes, yes! This is what I'm talking about!" Saturio exclaid with a smile.
"The fire mage and the ginger hero, fighting the villain after destroying an entire city… This is exactly what I needed!" The barbarian continued.
Curtis had already fought against Saturio once, so he was aware of his addiction to battles. However, he didn't know why the man was so keen on looking for soone who could defeat him.
At that mont, the ground shook while the pebbles around Saturio began to levitate around him, generating a powerful aura around the man that froze Zac and Curtis for a few seconds.
"GENTLEN, TONIGHT WE REVEL!" Saturio shouted, his voice echoing all around the necropolis.
When the barbarian took one step forward, he seed to warp through space and appeared right beside Zac, punching him in the face and grabbing him by the arm before throwing him against a light post.
Curtis instantly clapped his hands and generated a wave of fire directed at Saturio, but the man waved his hand and split the flas, allowing him to cut his distance and kick him in the stomach.
The force of the kick pushed Curtis against the wall of a building, and with a smile on his face, Saturio turned around and spotted Zac less than a ter away from him with his baseball bat in hand.
"A blunt weapon!? Amazing!" Saturio praised the redhead, avoiding his swing and punching him in the face.
Zac felt like a truck was hitting him every ti that Saturio punched him. His strikes were heavy and quick—even for a man of that size, he was incredibly nimble.
*Ptoo* Zac spat out a bit of blood and wiped his chin, realizing that Saturio was at least ten tis more powerful than the fire Death Knight they battled minutes before his arrival.
"Co on, Zac. Focus!" Saturio exclaid, confusing the redhead even more.
'What's this guy's deal? I can't tell if he is rooting for or if he is mocking …' Zac thought.
"Do not misunderstand my words…" Saturio said as if he could read the redhead's mind.
"I can see your hesitation. Leave it aside, Zac… I'm the barbarian king, and I will destroy and kill everyone in this country!" he continued, raising his arms to the side.
"You've seen it already, haven't you? The children, the won… All shall fall under our command!" Saturio shouted, finishing his short speech.
At that mont, Zac rembered the zombie boy in the gaming store, and his expression went from confused to pure anger.
'Ah… I almost forgot,' Zac thought.
"Yes! That's the energy I'm looking for!" Saturio exclaid, rushing towards Zac with a smile on his face.
'These guys… Can't be swayed,' the redhead continued his train of thought, unmoving from his position as the barbarian king kept approaching at a fast pace.
When Saturio stood in front of Zac, their gazes t, and the redhead jumped up, kicking Saturio in the chin and vaulting back.
As soon as Zac's feet landed on the ground, he accelerated and connected a powerful fist on his opponent's stomach, pushing the 7-foot-tall man a few ters away from him.
Zac expected to launch Saturio's body against a building in the back, but the barbarian's body felt like punching an unmovable mountain, so he slid a few ters across the ground.
"That was better. But it's still not enough!" Saturio shouted.
Curtis jumped from the side and cast a barrage of fla bullets that began raining on Saturio's position, prompting the barbarian to run around the street to avoid the projectiles.
"So fast!" Curtis said, gritting his teeth as he couldn't hit his bullseye, only to be t by a fist in the face that flung him into a building through the window.
'I truly don't understand this guy…' Zac thought.
