“Made of stone?”
“It looks primitive, but it seems harder than the magical tal we encountered on the way here. Inside, we’ll find the long-awaited throne of Frizskalb.”
Heimdall inford them in front of the door. Hmm, finally.
“It’s 2 o’clock now. I wonder if I can make it back before mama finds out.”
I checked the ti displayed on the status board and let out a sigh of relief. It seed easier than I had anticipated.
“Alright, I’ll open it! Open Sesa Seef~”
“Oh, wait a minute...”
Heimdall attempted to stop her, but the cheerful Mii-chan laid her hand on the door.
At that mont, a pillar of light descended from the ceiling, enveloping Mii-chan. The air heated up, causing the door to warp due to the intense heat. The ground turned into a viscous liquid, and the lted stone floor flowed around the area.
“Oh, it looks like the final room!”
Mii-chan erged from the pillar of light, completely unscathed, and peered inside with sparkling eyes.
“Did I have a reason to co here? This magic is probably the most potent magic humans can use, right?”
“They probably didn’t anticipate Gods invading.”
“W-well, it certainly seems powerful. But it doesn’t work against Gods, you know. Good job, though.”
The pillar of light remained, forming a barrier in front of the door. It appeared to have the power to obliterate anyone who touched it, which would be fatal to a regular human.
However, Freya held her Tower Shield like an umbrella above her head and walked into the pillar of light. Frigg-oneesan and Heimdall also entered the shield, diving through together.
“Isn’t the usual ga flow to search for a key to disarm traps like this?”
“They said you need the blood of royals, right?”
Heimdall’s face looked exasperated, and Freya appeared unfazed. She had beco accustod to Mii-chan’s actions.
The room was vast, with a depth of about 100 ters and a ceiling that was about 20 ters high. There were murals on the walls that appeared quite old and potentially held academic value.
A red carpet covered the floor, and considering its lack of decay, it likely had magic enchantnts.
At the back, there was a raised platform with a staircase leading up. On that platform, there sat a throne made of golden, mystic light.
Even though no one occupied it, it exuded an imposing presence, and Mii-chan could clearly see the powerful magic it held.
“It’s the Throne of Hlidskjalf. With that, we might complete the mission.”
“There seems to be a treasure vault behind the door on the back wall.”
Mii-chan, humming to herself, was about to move towards the throne. Frigg-oneesan also glistened with excitent, resembling a carnivorous predator faced with a fresh al.
The two of us, now only focused on our goal, were abruptly halted by Freya and Heimdall. What’s going on? The throne is right in front of us. It’s ti for the birth of Champion Mii-chan, right?
“No, no, no, there’s a wolf’s bone sitting in front of the throne! Isn’t it obviously suspicious?”
“Poor thing, it starved to death because it didn’t have food, right?”
Heimdall pointed ahead, where a 4-ter dog bone sitting Sphinx-like in front of the stairs, blocking their path.
There’s nothing but bones, but it probably starved to death because soone didn’t feed it.
People who let their pets starve deserve divine punishnt.
“No, I sense a sinister magic from it now.”
“If it’s an undead dog, it’s not an opponent for Mii-chan. A [Turn Undead II] should purify it in one shot.”
Heimdall responded with an exasperated expression, and Freya had no particular concerns. She was accustod to Mii-chan’s actions.
[Hmmm... It’s been a while since I slled this. It’s nostalgic. I never thought the day would co when I’d et you all again.]
A powerful telepathic ssage flowed into Mii-chan’s head. Everyone seed to be experiencing the sa thing, quickly turning their attention to the bone.
“I’ve heard of this before.”
Heimdall said with a serious expression while hiding behind Freya.
“Oh, why is it here? I thought it was Cerberus or Oltros, and I didn’t care.”
Brushing her hair back and squinting slightly, Frigg-oneesan sighs.
[Kukukuku, you’re surprised that I’m serving as a watchdog, Freya. And Heimdall.]
The bone of the dog began to rattle and stood up. A dark aura swayed from the bone, making the air grow heavy.
“Well, the bone is no longer an opponent. We can take it out easily with sacred sword techniques!”
[Woof woof, you’re right, with this body, I can’t win against Freya.]
The doggy’s bone rattled its jaws and seed to enjoy itself. Its exposed fangs looked eerie, and it would probably hurt if bitten.
[I died and joined the small talk with Helheim... I never thought I’d regain my strength.]
The doggy’s bone braced itself on all fours, and the magic power it emitted flowed back into it, becoming its internal organs, muscle tissue, and skin, covered in blue fur.
“It regenerated its body instantly!”
The power released by the doggy caused a violent storm, and Heimdall exclaid in surprise. Freya held up her shield and ignored the doggy as Frigg-oneesan headed for the treasure vault.
“Hehehe, hahaha, it’s been a while since I felt the sensation of a body. It seems that Helheim is doing well in destroying this world. My power has returned quite a bit from the Ragnarok.”
With blue fur and golden eyes, the doggy wagged its tail and appeared happy.
“Now, first, as promised, let’s kill the thieves who are after this throne.”
The dog began to accumulate dark flas in its mouth.
“Everyone, get behind !”
With her Tower Shield raised, Freyja shouted.
“My na is Fenrir! Let’s greet each other after a long ti!”
[Annihilation Breath]
Dark breath that even absorbed light was released from the dog’s mouth, striking Mi-chan and the others.
