A-H 2: Devourer of Worlds.
''Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the honored one.''
Was that the quote?
That seems like sothing I should say at monts like this. I have to express my arrogance in plain words and make them sound convincing, after all. That kind of impression is easier to create in other diums as compared to this... but I digress.
I have been waiting for too long. Is it because this outco is sothing I truly desire? A dozen millennia or two was nothing before this, but just a little over a thousand years has gotten so restless.
''What are you muttering to yourself all of a sudden?''
''Ah, Neveah.''
Amidst the swirling reality and the petals of divinity cutting through each leaf of Zircon Forest, as I walk toward my enemy, the young goddess silently joins on the side.
''You and I have known each other for a while,'' I reply. ''I am most certain you rember my excitent.''
''...Well, yeah.''
Looking ahead, the young dragon is already waiting for so patiently—no, its manipulator is. I was powerless then, but now... I can at least give HIM a good beating.
Ah, I hope he gets really hurt.
Letting my enthusiasm take over my body like that, and with any limiter completely removed, I unknowingly phase through space and arrive at the top of the tall tower.
Crimson light and warped divinity shower my existence.
''Hah... you...''
''Hm? You guys are still hanging on?''
Surprisingly, even after that transformation, these humans are still conscious. I suppose they're not called the strongest among mortals for nothing.
Among them, the two n appear the most puzzled at my arrival. The woman with ice magic seems more dumbfounded, and the little one... she's in quite a bad condition. She did protect the others, after all.
And then... 'her' two subordinates are unconscious.
''Becky, where were you until now...? And that person...'' The cold woman gasped, holding the little girl in her arms.
''...''
Predictably, Neveah doesn't give an answer. She keeps gazing high at the sky—at her once beloved companion, Yggdrasil.
''I'll do it. Is it still fine?'' I ask.
''...Go ahead. It's... sothing we've decided.''
Once again, her orange eyes are hidden behind those round glasses, but I can roughly guess what she's going through right now. Nonetheless, it is just as she said—it is my job to put an end to this creature.
''What a pitiful existence.''
With ease, my body slowly levitates into the air, bending senses and space in the process. I gaze straight into HIS imnse pupil, an insatiable power swells within my veins.
As if responding to that, the dragon lets out a bellowing grunt.
One, two. A few hundred magic circles plunge through the air, pointing at my sole body. If released, the amount of energy stored in those formations should be enough to eviscerate a city. Moreover, since that magic isn't going through the system, one can expect a much more grueso sort of destruction.
Oh, but I'm going off track here.
Normally, facing this would be quite terrible. It is why I am here instead of 'her.'
Raising my hand, I lightly point a finger at my enemies, ''Have you ever seen...
...a black hole?''
Heeding my command, the swirling mass inside pours into the sky, collapsing before the beast's head to beco an immovable, indestructible, and utterly perfect thing—a black hole.
Dust, leaves, rubbles, twigs, sound, sight, scent, mana, divinity, existence—everything that the mind can conceive begins to spiral into the singularity.
In front of the absolute, nothing stands a chance.
As the world distorts into a jumbled ss and the dragon's silhouette, together with its magic, trickles into the infinite void, I feel a primordial delight in .
Laughing in the vacuum, I utter, even if no one can hear it, ''Now you know—that I am the Destroyer of Worlds, the Devourer of Gods—''
''The incarnation of Nihility.''
Snap.
With a snap of my fingers, the insatiable beast curtly vanishes from reality, leaving behind an anomalously deford terrain and a crippling dragon.
It isn't dead. I made sure not to kill it.
Neveah should thank for holding back. Though, a part of it is actually my not wanting to waste too much power.
''...Thank you.''
Hovering past like that, she softly whispers. It seems she wants to reunite with her companion, who has now reverted to its humanoid form to maintain life.
Deciding not to bother with it, I turn back to the floating sphere of flesh in the sky.
HIS eye is now visibly enraged, each ounce of at throbbing rashly to funnel more of that disgusting blood to the eyeball. From the looks of it, won't that thing turn into an abomination soon?
Even in this do, where outside interferences are bounded, a true calamity would befall if HE chose to be serious. I suppose that existence was wary of Neveah until now.
Well, none of that matters anymore.
Since I'm here.
''Now then, what will you do?'' I utter in a calm, even tone. ''For sothing as corrupted and repulsive as you, for sothing filled with nothing but hatred and a will for mayhem, your end will be just as spiteful.''
My words aren't backed by anything special. Yet, with how fixated HE is on , I am sure my ssage has gotten through. And as if responding to that, a crushing, squeezing sound of flesh being torn apart and nded together rings in the air.
[■̷̢̤̗̊̌̓́͜■̴͔͂■̷̪̙̻̺́■̴̨̯̰̆̊̇■̷͖̭̩̅̓́͘■̸͇͚̾̄■̴͉̈́̚̕͝■̸͈̩͈̣͒́■̷͇̃̾̑■̷̛̪̥̦̟͛̏■̸̢̛͙̱͓̣̊͂̄͠! ■̴̞̰̈■̵̢̪̳̲͈̍͗́͠͠■̸̖̱̗̈͌̉■̶̭̊̊͜■̸͍̈́̈́̒■̴͕̦̗̹͉͌̈͌̿́■̶̧̟̠̻̿̈́̆̄■̷͉̗̫̆̓͘■̶̣̻͛̋̎̀■̵͇̳̱͗͌̄͝! ■̸̧͎̯̾̔̄͠■̵̪̥̟̿̐́̆̊■̴̲̐̄̌͘■̷̰͇͇̾■̴̝̄͜!]
For the first ti, HE speaks. HE speaks in an incomprehensible screech that is nothing but painful to the human ears, almost akin to a ghost's howls, collapsing stars, or raining plasma.
Hm... I guess you wouldn't understand if I said it like that.
[■̵̧̠̞̂̀̽̈́■̸͓͍̂̿̐͝■̶̡̫̱͕̖̤̂̑̄̀̚■̵͕̗̀͗̔͐͝■̸͓̪̈́́̉̀͜■̷͕̐■̵̝̤̿̑̂■̵͙͇̻̺́͋ͅ■̴̪͙͠! ■̸͚̂̃̾■̶̨̻̜͍̗́͌̄ͅ■̶̨̠̠̀̂͛̂̽͗ͅ■̸͇͈̮̟̣͒̒͒̇! ■̴̨̖̉̀̉̄■̴̤͓̼̪̼̈̃̃̉͝■̶̗̫̖̰̼͋̋͒͝■̸̢̨́■̶̎̌̆ͅ■̴̢̞̘͙̔́͘͜■̵͇͕͆!]
''How utterly vexing you are.''
Letting out a sigh, I feel the desire to end it all surging in . Truthfully, I gain nothing from idling around like this.
So... here it goes.
''...It's been a long ti. Here, let call upon you again—''
Turning to the high, high sky—to the space beyond this continent's ceiling—I shape my intent and shoot it out to the distant void.
Three seconds.
Rumble.
Rumble.
The world starts to shake violently. With each reverb passing, the continent as a whole quakes. The earth seethes in pain, howling as if being gripped and coiled around.
[■̵̧̠̞̂̀̽̈́■̸͓͍̂̿̐͝■̸͚̂̃̾■̶̨̻̜͍̗́͌̄ͅ!]
This ti, the ceiling cracks. Tiny pieces of glass gently fall, perhaps wanting to run away from what is to co.
And soon, HE feels it.
The eye, quivering and shuddering, turns around.
''Leviathan.''
