A group of people took the elevator to the floor where the negotiation eting room was located.

As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, they saw Qiu Wenyu and several shareholders drinking tea and laughing in the rest area, seemingly quite happy.

This gave Han Jun an uneasy feeling.

"President Han, you're here," Qiu Wenyu called out with a wave of his hand, not even standing up.

"President Qiu, let's get down to the negotiation quickly. As for the price, let's discuss it further and try to settle it today," Han Jun said, still sowhat formal.

"President Han, there's no need to negotiate," Qiu Wenyu said with a smile.

"What do you an?" Han Jun narrowed his eyes.

"Our company has already been acquired," Qiu Wenyu spread his hands and pointed at the major shareholders, "Look, now I'm here celebrating with them over tea and pastries."

What!

Acquired!

Han Jun was shocked.

How could this be, could it have been acquired by Yang Xin Investnt?

But how could that be possible!

Yang Xin Investnt had only appeared today.

Could they have acquired it on their first visit?

Han ngting was also sowhat incredulous. Her thoughts were similar to Han Jun's, suspecting it was Yang Xin Investnt who had acquired it at first instinct.

"Could it be that it was acquired by Yang Xin Investnt?" Han Jun couldn't help but blurt out.

"Oh? It seems you're very well-inford, President Han. Xu Yang from Yang Xin Investnt and Wang Xiaocong from Wan Da Group just left. Did you run into them?" Qiu Wenyu laughed.

"It must be, otherwise how would President Han know."

"President Han, now Sheng Da Literature belongs to Yang Xin Investnt and Wan Da Investnt. You no longer have a chance," one of the shareholders chid in.

"President Han, I'm really sorry. We wanted to sell our shares to you, but the price you offered was too low," another shareholder comnted regretfully.

"Yes, we negotiated for two days, and you only offered 5.2 billion," another shareholder pointed out.

"We had no choice. Xu Yang and Wang Xiaocong t our demands, so naturally, we agreed to their offer," another shareholder explained.

Other than Huang Chi, the shareholders spoke one after the other.

"What price did they offer?" Han Jun's complexion turned ugly.

Now that the company was acquired, what could he do? He certainly couldn't scold these people, could he?

Besides, they were investnt tycoons, and he had no authority over them, so he had no right to scold them.

He did, however, have a reason to reprimand Huang Chi, since they had reached an agreent.

But with Yang Xin Investnt and Wan Da Investnt acquiring Sheng Da Literature, Huang Chi hadn't ntioned a word to him, which was baffling.

However, in front of everyone, he naturally couldn't disclose the agreent he had with Huang Chi, as it would embarrass Huang Chi and thoroughly offend him, which wouldn't be good.

He would have to ask privately later on.

"Six billion," a shareholder said with a chuckle, making a gesture with his hand.

"President Han, regarding the price, I must say, compared to Xu Yang, you were too stingy," another shareholder added.

"Yes, Xu Yang started straight with 6 billion, while you only offered 5 billion, and after two days, added just 2 billion. You can't compare to Xu Yang," another shareholder pointed out.

"Six billion, that was our target. When he offered this price, we naturally sold our shares to him," a shareholder stated.

"That's right, you were so stingy that we had no confidence you would negotiate up to 6 billion," the shareholders continued one by one, all except Huang Chi, who remained silent.

Han Jun's face grew even darker.

This Yang Xin Investnt was clearly here to disrupt his plans.

Otherwise, how could they suddenly offer 6 billion?

With negotiation, there was no way they needed to spend that much.

This also shows that Xu Yang is very optimistic about the developnt of Shengda Literature.

Although he was sowhat displeased by Xu Yang's last refusal to provide the requested investnt amount,

it cannot be denied that Xu Yang has a shrewd eye for investnts.

Every investnt he has made has yielded amazing returns.

Shengda Literature will certainly have amazing returns in the future as well.

Han Jun thought the sa.

But now that Yang Xin Investnt has acquired it, no matter how astounding the returns, they would no longer be his concern.

At this mont, Qiu Wenyu's phone rang.

Qiu Wenyu answered the call and a minute later, hung up.

Qiu Wenyu said, "President Han, I apologize, but I have to get back to work. Our company has been acquired by Yang Xin Investnt and Wan Da Investnt, so this negotiation is no longer necessary. You can stay and enjoy so tea and a chat, but I need to leave to take care of things."

After saying that, Qiu Wenyu left for his own office.

Stay here for tea and chat?

Han Jun certainly wasn't interested.

"Well, I've had enough tea; it's ti for to go."

"I should be going too. I didn't sleep well during my noon nap; I need to go back and catch up on so sleep."

"Sa here, I'll go back for a nap too. Going out for a foot wash and massage tonight would be good. These past few days of negotiating with President Han have been exhausting; need to relax a bit."

"Old Zhang, let's go and unwind together."

"Sure, it would be nice to have company. We can talk about that project you ntioned last ti."

"President Han, we're leaving now. It's a pity we couldn't sell the shares to you. Hopefully, we can cooperate again in the future."

"President Han, you all rushed over here, so at least have so more tea before you go. We won't be accompanying you any longer, goodbye."

The shareholders got up one after another, greeted Han Jun, and took the elevator to leave.

Only Huang Chi stayed behind.

"President Huang, don't you think you owe so explanations?" Han Jun stared at Huang Chi and asked.

"President Han, let's leave this place first. It's not the right place to talk," Huang Chi said with a wry smile.

"Okay," Han Jun had no objections.

The group took the next elevator, went downstairs, and exited the building.

"Tell what happened. How did it happen that Xu Yang and Wang Xiaocong ca over and directly acquired Shengda Literature? You didn't even give a heads-up." Han Jun sounded sowhat reproachful.

After all, they had reached an agreent, and even though Huang Chi had not fulfilled the agreent, the fact that soone else swooped in and he didn't even inform Han Jun was unacceptable.

"President Han, you can't bla for this. It's all Xu Yang's crafty doing," Huang Chi defended himself.

"He ca over with his people and directly offered 6 billion. He also said if we agreed, we would have to sign the contract imdiately, and if not, he would leave with his people straightaway."

"Furthermore, he would not co back but instead would go to acquire other online literature companies, leaving us no choice but to sell our shares to your Penguin Group at a lower price."

"His offer of 6 billion t everyone's expectations, so naturally, all the other shareholders imdiately agreed."

"I stood alone, struggling to say a few words, trying to buy ti for you to arrive. They even suspected I had so collusion with you."

"It wasn't until I agreed to sell my shares that they dropped their suspicions," Huang Chi said with a pained expression.

"A masterstroke. That move was really powerful, truly worthy of the man who... beca a billionaire within a year!"

Han ngting cheered and almost said, "truly worthy of the man I fancied."

Thankfully, she caught herself in ti.

Otherwise, if others heard it, God knows how many rumors would spread.

Nevertheless, after she said that, everyone still looked at her with strange eyes.

To cheer for soone who just snatched the deal, whose side was she on?
