That strange combination gave off a Siren-like charm.

Once inside, Kathy didn’t bother to talk about returning Ethan’s things.

Once he took the bait, she would be like a siren, ensnaring him until he couldn’t escape.
Then, when he let his guard down, she’d strike like thunder and kill him.
’Then, his stone house, his storeroom, all his collected items, his equipnt, everything would be mine!‘
Kathy could already see herself after taking over this stone house, standing by the glass window, sipping red wine, watching the white snow outside, watching the monsters and beasts in the fog roar helplessly at the stone house.
“Oh, is that so?”, Ethan heard her and imdiately showed that everyone-understands smile, beckoning Kathy over, “Fine, co over! Give a massage. If your service satisfies , I don’t mind treating you to a al.”
“Big brother, you’re so kind!”, Kathy smiled gratefully and, following Ethan’s instruction, ca over to massage him.
Everything was going smoothly.
Until, the instant Ethan closed his eyes from the pleasure of the massage—
Kathy’s mouth tilted; she slyly slipped a hand behind her back to pull out the dagger at her lower back.

Kathy’s eyes widened as she struggled to look up at Ethan.
At the sa ti, she stared at the dagger in his hand.
That was clearly her dagger.
The dagger she’d taken from the silver chest, the one that had been the source of her confidence.
With that dagger she could act without restraint; she could kidnap n at will and kill them.
But now—
“Weren’t you saying that if I let you in you’d give the good stuff? Fine, then I’ve just taken back what belongs to . What’s the problem?”, Ethan said, dangling the dagger at Kathy’s throat, “Besides, did I tell you to stop?”
“No, no—”, Kathy was so shocked by this sudden turn that she could hardly speak.
But her fate was already in Ethan’s hands; she dared not babble and could only obediently work.
She massaged until her arms were about to give out, as if they would snap.
Only then did Ethan nod in satisfaction and motion for Kathy to stop, “Alright. You did well. Too bad...”
“Too bad what?”, Kathy purred obsequiously, “Big brother, aren’t you satisfied with my service? I can do even better, uh—”
The next second, Ethan slit Kathy’s throat with the dagger.
Warm blood splattered on his fingers. Kathy stared at the man in utter disbelief.
She clutched her neck, but the blood gushed out in a torrent no matter what she did.
That was the first ti Ethan realized, a cut that small could bleed so much.
The blood in the throat shot out like a watering nozzle.
Nothing could stop it.
