Chapter 437 – Did I Do Sothing Wrong?
"I guess so," Elizabeth replied in a ek tone. She was surprised to see Jasmine stand up after her reply.
"What happened?" Elizabeth asked curiously.
"I am going ho to et my man. I have missed him a lot," Jasmine said before she began walking away.
"Won't you drink the coffee the maid brought for you?" Elizabeth asked seeing how impatient Jasmine was. Jasmine halted, turned and face where she sat.
"Actually, I have quit drinking coffee," Jasmine said with a smile.
"Ok, but don't forget to pretend not to know anything about his usual outing with dad ok," Elizabeth shouted after the lady who was already at the exit.
"Jasmine, a lover of coffee has suddenly stopped drinking coffee, what does that an?" Elizabeth thought aloud, her eyes glued on the cup of coffee the maid kept on the table so minutes ago.
Jasmine hurried ho expecting to see Jackson but all she t was an empty bedroom. She ca back to the sitting room when she couldn't find Jackson in any of the rooms upstairs.
"Lilian, is your boss back?" Jasmine sitting on the couch asked the instant Lilian ca into the sitting room.
"No, but he called to inform to make sure that you had your breakfast. Boss said my three months salary will be deducted if I fail to make you have breakfast," Lilian said in a soft tone.
"How co he is always so concerned about but is never concerned about himself?" Jasmine muttered before she closed her eyes.
"Madam, a new breakfast has been set up for you….,"
"I am not hungry," Jasmine cut Lilian short abruptly.
"Madam, boss is really worried about you and your health especially now that your diet has changed. He is afraid you might fall ill without him being aware of it," Lilian said in a llowed tone. She continued talking until Jasmine got fed up with her nagging.
"Ok, I will wat so stop nagging just like my mum," Jasmine finally said the words Lilian wanted to hear.
After breakfast, Jasmine sat in the sitting room to wait for Jackson's return but she fell asleep on the couch in the process. When he finally returned, she was fast asleep.
"Lilian, why did you let your Madam sleep in the sitting room?" Jackson asked angrily the mont the lady who ca to welco him showed up in the sitting room.
"What if she falls ill or develops pains in any part of her body because of this, who should I hold responsible for that?" Jackson's cold voice made Lilian unable to say anything to her defence.
"I put you in charge of taking care of her and all her needs but just look at how poorly you are carrying out your duties…,"
"Why is it so noisy here?" Jasmine's sleepy voice made Jackson pause whatever he wanted to say. The once angry Jackson rushed to her side even though she wasn't fully awake.
He went to sit beside the lady whose eyes were beginning to open.
"Miss Naughty, why didn't you sleep in the bedroom? What if you fell ill or catch a cold because…,"
"Why are you scolding when you are to be blad for this?" Jasmine asked as she rubbed her eyes to chase the sleep away.
"Did I do sothing wrong?" Jackson asked in a worried tone when he realised that she sounded upset.
"Of course, you did everything wrong. You told you would wait for last night so why didn't you keep your words. Why didn't you call to tell you wouldn't return last night?" Jasmine asked, her eyes glued on his handso face.
"Why didn't you spare from further worries by calling ho this morning if you weren't gonna return for breakfast. I had to wait for you in the sitting room that is why I fell asleep…," Jackson embraced her tightly before she could finish scolding him.
"I know I am such a jerk for making you worried about . I am sorry ok. Forgive hubby hmm," Jackson said as he caressed her back affectionately.
Lilian standing afar watching them felt like kowtowing to Jasmine for speaking at the mont she did. She couldn't bring herself to imagine what Jackson wanted to say next at his angry state earlier.
"Miss Naughty, I promise not to commit such a mistake next ti so please forgive hmm. Also, I promise to make it up to you by spending the rest of the day with you doing whatever you want," Jackson said as he released her.
"You will really not go to work but spend the rest of the day doing what I want?" Jasmine asked giving him doubtful glances.
"Yes, I promise so please forgive hubby hmm," Jackson said, making cute expressions at her.
"I have forgiven you but first of all, you need to freshen and co downstairs to have your al. Because you will need a lot of strength to do what I want," Jasmine said, her lips curling into a sly smile. Jackson was happy to see her smile.
"Miss Naughty, tell did I just fall into your already set traps?" Jackson asked playfully.
"I am no hunter so why would I set traps?" Jasmine asked giggling.
"And even though I set traps it will be for only one man and that man is sitting in front of ," Jasmine bewitching smile made Jackson smile along with her.
"Should I be happy that I have a woman who will only set traps for or should I cry…,"
"Of course, you should be happy," Jasmine said as she stretched and pecked him on his lips. She abruptly pulled away before Jackson could place his hands on her neck for a more passionate kiss.
"You…," Jackson was lost at words to scold her when he saw her hasten up from the couch before he could grab her.
"You need to shower first and eat," Jasmine said as she walked towards the direction of the kitchen. She was about to enter the kitchen when soone grabbed her from behind and effortlessly lifts her off her feet.
