Chapter 404 – HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
"We will talk to them together. I am sure hearing my voice will be my biggest New Year present for them," Jasmine sitting in bed said as she stares at the guy trying to carry the cell phone from the side table.
"It's a video call from Jeff," Jackson inford after checking the caller ID. He went to sit beside Jasmine after answering the video call.
"Happy New Year!!!" Jeff and Catherine scread after Jackson had answered the line.
"Happy New Year to the two of you too," Jackson said with smiles. The first thing the couple noticed was Jackson's broad smile. They were curious to know why the normally gloomy guy was smiling brightly but the two decided to ignore it.
"How are you over there? I hope you are not missing sister-in-law too much?" Jeff asked in a playful tone. He let his eyes examine Jackson's environnt.
"That is not your room you are in right now, where are you? I hope you didn't go to the bar…," Jeff couldn't utter a word when Jasmine's face suddenly popped up on the scream.
"Is that sister-in-law's face I am seeing or am I dreaming?" Jeff rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't mistaken. He was surprised to see that he was still seeing the sa thing despite having rubbed his eyes.
"Jackson, you have found Jasmine?" Catherine asked in surprise. At that mont her happiness knew no bounds. Even Jeff was so happy to the point that he was montarily speechless.
"Happy New Year Pretty Boy and my darling Catherine," Jasmine greeted beaming.
"Naughty girl, where have you been? Do you know how worried…,"
"This is New Year, quit nagging Cat ok?" Jasmine stopped Catherine from scolding her further.
"I admit I was wrong in staying away without contacting you so don't nag again ok," Jasmine said.
"JK, I can see your upper body is nude while sister-in-law is wrapped all over with blankets, does this an sothing juicy has happened between the two of you?" Jeff asked naughtily. Catherine whose attention wasn't really on what they were wearing had to pay more attention to Jasmine and Jackson.
"Jeff stop being naughty. Also, stop being inquisitive because that might get you into trouble….,"
"This is not called being inquisitive," Jeff tried to correct. "You and sister-in-law made it so obvious so how could you call this being inquisitive?" Jeff asked smiling. The others couldn't resist smiling due to his playful words.
"You have beco laughter, Pretty Boy. I wonder how my best friend has been coping with your naughtiness after I left," Jasmine asked as she winked naughtily at Catherine standing behind the chair Jeff was sitting on.
"She has been enjoying every bit of it more than you could ever think of," Jeff replied with a huge sense of humour.
"This is why I like you a lot Pretty Boy, you never failed to make laugh each ti you are around," Jasmine said, her words earning a disapproving gaze from Jackson.
"That's one thing I failed to do to that best friend of mine after you left," Jeff replied.
For the past one month, he could recall the number of tis he has tried to make Jackson smile. He even changed strategies and yet his attempts were always a complete failure. Even the naughty Evelyn failed in her attempts to make Jackson smile too.
"Are you saying I don't make you smile?" Jackson asked making his displeasure even more obvious.
"What…," Jasmine was lost at words to say. She didn't know Jackson will get jealous over her complints.
"I can sll sothing? Erin, can you perceive it?" Jeff said acting like he was searching for sothing.
"Yeah, I can sll vinegar all over Jackson," Catherine said. Jeff burst out laughing. Even Jasmine couldn't resist the urge to laugh. Jackson watched the three people laugh at him.
Though Jeff and Catherine were laughing at him over the phone, it felt like they were right beside him.
"I will hang up the call….,"
"No, don't do it. We will stop laughing, I promise," Jeff said amidst his laughter. Their laughter died off after his words.
"So when are you guys returning?" Catherine asked curiously.
"In the morning, I guess," Jackson said as he turned to stare at Jasmine to see whether she agreed with his words.
"We will co back in the morning as he said. Also, even though we wanted to stay one more day my parents will rain down brimstone since today is the day we always set out to visit them. And I have missed you guys so much, I can't wait to return," Jasmine said her smile broadening as she speaks.
"Wow, that is great. I am sure others will be thrilled when they learn that JK had finally found where you have been hiding," Jeff said.
"You are right about that. I am sure they will call soon so let's end the call here so we can give room to others," Jackson replied.
"Good night. Sleep tight," Jasmine waved at those at the other end who was also waving at them.
The mont the call ended Jackson threw the phone on the bed and turned to face Jasmine.
"Why are you sulking? Don't tell you are this way because I complinted Pretty Boy?" Jasmine asked resisting the urge to laugh at her jealous man.
"Why did you complint another man in my presence? Were you trying to say that I don't make you laugh…,"
"What are you talking about Mr Jackson Smith? The man I complinted is your best friend so why are you jealous of him….,"
"That he is my best friend doesn't change the fact that he is a man. Blood flows through his veins and not water so that ans he has desires…," Jackson trailed his gaze centred on the beautiful lady before him.
"It's not an understatent that my woman is extraordinarily beautiful. n who walked past her will turn around to have a second glance at her heavenly face. n who have partners will not hesitate to leave their woman just to be with her…,"

It's a new month and ti for goals but I don't feel like setting goals this month. The last two months goals were not reached so I feel discouraged to set any goals.
Although I didn't set any goals I promise that as long as we reached a certain number of GOLDEN TICKETS that makes happy, I will give a mass release.
Also, I promise that as long as we surpass last month number of privileged buyers and privileged chapters unlocked I will give a mass release of 12 chapters. Don't worry, this 12 chapters mass release is not related to GOLDEN TICKET I talked about earlier.
I have stated the conditions for mass release this February so what are you waiting for instead of buying privileged chapters and giving my book all your GOLDEN TICKETS?
