"If you continue like this you are gonna end up ruining your life without even gaining anything at the end so as your cousin, I advise that you stop this nonsense and try to pull yourself together. Jack isn't the only man in this world...,"
"He may not be the only man in this world but he is the only man I yearn for and no matter what, I will make sure I get him. If I can't get him then I will make sure no woman gets him," Jane said before she stomped out of there.
"She has gone insane out of obsession. I wonder when she will learn that love can never be forced. You will only end up getting hurt if you try to force love," Kai mumbled as he stare at the angry lady walking away.
Jackson inside the car kept on trying Jasmine's line despite that the line wasn't going through. He sent her text ssages with hopes that she would reply after seeing it but for three days there was no response.
Jackson sitting on his executive chair dialled Catherine's line.
"Catherine please send the possible places you think Jasmine would have gone to, I will have my n check them out. Who knows we might be able to find her this way," Jackson asked in a calm tone.
"Ok, I will do it right now," Catherine previously working said. Since finding Jasmine was more pressing than the files she was working on, she postpone what she was doing.
After compiling the list of places she and Jasmine normally frequent doing the past years she forwarded it to Jackson.
Apart from Jackson, Elizabeth and the others were also utilising their n and resources with the hopes of finding Jasmine.
Just so they won't alarm the public about her disappearance they did this in secret. They also didn't allow Mr and Mrs Avans or the dia to get wind of it.
For a month Jackson and the others search for Jasmine. They even spent their Christmas without Jasmine.
Christmas without the naughtiest girl in the universe didn't feel like Christmas. Despite that none really voice it out they missed her the most at such events.
Even though Jasmine wasn't around Catherine didn't slack. She made sure everything was in order in the company.
Just to make sure nothing goes wrong when her best friend returns Catherine worked extra hard to make sure things at the company was going smoothly.
She used Jasmine's disappearance as a perfect excuse to keep her distance from Jeff. Although Jeff knew that her actions were deliberate he didn't say anything since he was afraid Catherine might use that as an excuse to break up with him.
Everyone was doing perfectly well with their partners. The only ones having problems was Jeff, Catherine and the lonely Jackson whose day passed by without sending Jasmine at least five ssages and six voice ssages.
Elizabeth sitting at her executive chair paused what she was doing when her gaze t the picture fra standing on her table.
Those in the picture was she, Alfred and the naughty Jasmine. The picture was captured on her wedding day. In the picture, despite that, it wasn't her wedding Jasmine had the broadest smile. Her smile showed how happy she was for her sister.
"Silly girl, it is just two days away from new year day, where are you? Where have you been hiding for the past month? Do you know how hard it has been for and Fred to keep your disappearance a secret from mum and dad?" Elizabeth thought aloud as she caressed Jasmine's face on the picture fra.
"Everyone misses you a lot. Jackson has begun developing grey hair due to worry and yearning for you. When are you coming back?" Elizabeth thought not being able to mask her sadness? She didn't even hear Alfred enter her office.
"You are staring at Jasmine picture again while talking to her," A guy's cool voice jolted her back to reality. She raised her gaze and stare at the guy standing in front of her desk.
She would be a liar if she said she heard when he entered her office.
"I can't help but think about her especially since no one knows how she is faring....,"
"I am sure she is fine. She might have left because she needed fresh air and so quietness in her life. I believe she will return soon so don't worry," Alfred said just to put his wife's mind at ease.
Honestly even he was worried about Jasmine. Two days ago was the third ti Mrs Avans has asked him and Elizabeth about Jasmine's whereabouts. He and Elizabeth had no choice but to lie to her once again.
"I really hope so," Elizabeth said as she dropped the picture fra back on her desk.
"So what brought you to my office?" Elizabeth asked curiously.
"I wanted to check whether you were free. I planned on taking you out on a date," Alfred replied to the surprise of Elizabeth.
"You want to take out on a date?" Elizabeth repeated his question for confirmation purposes. Alfred hardly ask her out so she was surprised he wanted to take her out on a date.
"Yes, is there sothing wrong with that or are you perhaps busy?" Alfred asked not understanding why she acted the way she did.
"Of course not. I am not busy," Elizabeth quickly replied.
"Ok, I will pick you up in five minutes. Get ready before then," Alfred smiled broadly at her. Elizabeth watched as he left her office afterwards.
"Fred has always loved children, how I wish that I would get pregnant with his child soon. I am sure this will make him very happy," Elizabeth said as she subconsciously touched her flat stomach.
