"Tell her that I will pay her handsoly for the information," Jasmine said sternly before she went back to work.
"Ok, boss. I will get back to you soon," Catherine said as she turned and leave the office.
Catherine just needed to tell her friend working in Jackson's company that her boss will pay her for the information for her to get the job done imdiately. The greedy lady even asks Catherine to contact her each ti her boss has a special job for her.
Just like Jasmine had promised she transferred a hefty sum of money to Catherine's friend after she received the information she sent.
"He has a eting by around 4:30 pm, which ans for to get the chance to talk to him. I have to leave my office earlier," Jasmine said as she stares at the email of Jackson's schedule that the lady sent.
"Thank goodness I don't have a eting at that ti, I will be there on ti," Jasmine said. She afterwards tried to get all her work done before the ti for her to leave reaches.
"Good luck, may today's outing be productive," Catherine said to the already departing Jasmine.
Jasmine smile when she heard Catherine's words.
Jasmine had wanted to reach Jackson's company early but because of the traffic jam, she couldn't.
Back in his office Jackson who was on the phone smiled when he heard his friend's eager voices.
"Jack, what about Jasmine are we not eting her today?" Steve asked anxiously over the phone. They both eagerly waited for Jackson's reply.
"I am taking her out on a ride today?" Jackson said smiling as he signals his assistant at the centre of the room to get him his suit.
"Taking her out on a ride? Did she agree to go with you?" Steve asked with a mixture of surprise and confusion.
"Did he need to ask her for permission when he knows that she is going to follow him wherever he goes?" Jeff asked smiling at the other end.
"Ok, I understand what he ant now," Steve said after Jeff finished explaining.
"Jack, just an advice from . Try not to make her angry today because she was very upset with you yesterday. I can vouch that I have never seen her so angry since we t her...,"
"I will treat her right today," Jackson interrupted abruptly.
"Good luck on your date with her. Don't forget to do the seducing today. Don't let her beat you to it. Fighting," Jeff said just to encourage him.
"We will call...,"
"Don't call except I do," Jackson interrupted before Steve could complete his sentence.
"Whoa... JK is afraid that we will call at bad timing. We will listen to you," Jeff said in a playful tone.
"She must be on her way at the mont, I need to leave," Jackson said as he imdiately disconnected the call.
It was just like he had foreseen it because imdiately he reached where his driver was already waiting for him, Jasmine arrived.
"Wait, Ice Prince," Jasmine shouted as she rushed to where he wanted to enter the car. She even forgot to close the door of her car in the process.
"I need to talk to you," Jasmine said holding his right hand before he could enter the car.
"I am already late for a eting. Set up an appointnt for another day," Jackson said as he signals her to let go of his hand.
"But...,"
"I really need to go now, Jasmine," Jackson said in a gentle voice. Seeing that she was slightly distracted he quickly entered the car and close the door before she could stop him. Afraid that she might do sothing else to stave off him from leaving, he quickly ordered his driver to zoom off.
"Isn't it just a eting that will last for less than thirty minutes, if he thinks that I won't dare to follow him then he is wrong," Jasmine said as she rushed to her car? After fastening the seatbelt, the driver zood off in the direction they took.
While hurriedly following Jackson, what Jasmine did not know was that the venue of his eting was in a faraway place that will take them at least an hour to reach there.
Seeing her car following him closely, Jackson smile happily.
I know she is known for winning over all her targets but I can't believe that she could be so persistent. I guess her persistence is what contributed to her great success.
Jackson thought maintaining his smiling face. He asked his driver to fold the roof of the car so he could enjoy the beautiful landscape.
"You actually followed ," Jackson said when Jasmine's car caught up to his.
"Being persistent is one of my charms if you don't know that," Jasmine said smiling at him brightly. Seeing her beautiful smiling face, he could not resist staring at her.
