"Are you perhaps not happy to et with them...,"
"I am happy but can you not do it yet. I know we have dated for a while but we haven't known each other that well...,"
"You love and I love you deeply, isn't that enough?" Jeff asked not understanding why she was acting the way she was doing.
Even before he travelled to et her dad, he planned to introduce her to his parents. He had to postpone it because of the travelling but right now he could see that she was not so enthusiastic to et his parents.
"There is more to a happy relationship than love, Frey. eting your parents is a very serious thing. We at least need to understand and trust each other. We don't have to rush things, Frey," Catherine tried to make him understand her points.
Jeff kept quiet for a while. She felt bad to see him like this but she did not have any other choice but to do this.
"I love you a lot. I am sure I have proved that to you so many tis. It's not that I am not eager to et your parents but I believe we should take things slowly," Catherine explained in a calm tone.
"We will do like you want. You know I would never force you to do what you dislike," Jeff finally agreed to her demand. Catherine smiled when he concurred with her demands.
"Thank you," Catherine embraced him tightly.
"I love you," Catherine said as she stroked his face affectionately.
"I love you more," Jeff replied with smiles as he bent and kissed her lips.
With everything settled between Jackson and Jasmine, their dinner went perfectly well. They went back ho together.
In a few days was Jasmine birthday. On the exact day, Jackson was the first person to wish her a happy birthday. The others called to say happy birthday wishes afterwards.
In the afternoon Jasmine decided to pay Jackson a surprise visit. She entered the elevator and waited for it to close.
The elevator was about to close when soone extend a hand inside. The elevator opened again to reveal the face of the owner of the hand.
Jasmine once happy expression turned to a frown when she get a glimpse of the lady's face. She decided to ignore the lady she hates to the core.
On the second floor, the elevator dinged and opened. Two people stood in front of the elevator. Jasmine had expected them to enter the elevator but instead, they brought out white cardboard with writing on it.
"Many years ago, on this special day a cute baby girl was brought into this universe," Jasmine read the words before the elevator closed.
Jasmine did not understand what the ssage ant and neither did her partner understood it too. On the next floor, the elevator dinged and opened once again.
Two ladies stood in front of the elevator and just like the previous people these ladies showed no intention of entering the elevator too.
They revealed pink cardboard they had hidden behind their back.
"Many years later, the girl grew up into an angelic beauty. The most beautiful lady the world has ever produced," Jasmine read the writing on the pink cardboard. It was after she read this second writing she had a little knowledge of what might be happening.
Wow, Jack recalls that today is my birthday? This is amazing!
Jane who had also read the previous and this particular writing thought, feeling very happy.
If he could do this for to celebrate my birthday this shows that I hold a special place in his heart. Wow, I can't believe that Jack loves all along but was only pretending.
Jane thought as she placed her hands on her chest.
Jasmine was too busy to care about the lady beside her daydreams. After the two ssages, she looked forward to the next one. The long-awaited third ssage finally reach. Jasmine stares at the yellow cardboard in the man's hands.
"This angelic beauty captivated the heart of so many n. Because of her ability to bring mighty n to their feet, she beca the most dread woman on the planet," Jasmine giggled after reading the third ssage.
Jane was too dense to realise that the ssage was not for her.
When the elevator opened on the next floor the eager Jasmine had expected to read the next ssage but unfortunately, no one was standing at the front of the elevator.
Did his surprise end there?
Jasmine thought after the elevator closed. When the elevator opened on the next floor Jasmine wasn't so eager like she was earlier. To her greatest amusent, his ssage ca.
"People called the world iciest man. Every woman who tried to lt always ended up failing woefully. Unlike other ladies, you didn't need to lift a finger for to get imnsely drawn to you. You captivated in a way no woman has ever done. You lted with the intensity of your heat," Jasmine read the ssage from the two cardboard. She could not resist smiling.
He really has a unique way of putting a smile on my face.
Jasmine thought with a smile on her face. Just like Jasmine was smiling so also was Jane.
The ssage kept coming on every floor the elevator stopped. Jasmine could not stop smiling throughout. On the fifteenth floor, the elevator stopped again.
"I am crazy about you. All I need to be happy forever is you by my side. You have surprisingly beco all I care about. I love you," Jasmine blushed after reading the ssage. The elevator closed afterwards. Jane was so addicted to the ssages that she forgot what she wanted to do earlier.
On the next floor, the ssage ca in form of a symbol.
"J❤J," Jasmine smiled once again. When they reached the last floor one of his employees escorted her and Jane to the rooftop.
"Happy Birthday!!!," Jasmine was greeted with loud cheers. Jasmine stares at the smiling faces of Jackson's employees. She searched for him in the crowd but unfortunately, she did not see him.
"Searching for , beautiful lady?" Jasmine heard soone talk after tapping her on the shoulder. She turned to see who it was.
