"Yeah, she did. Apart from the invitation card sent to our ho, a few were also sent to the company for employees interested to attend the party. A lot of socialites are gonna be present there," Elizabeth said her gaze glued on her sister's face.
"You look worried, why?" Elizabeth asked out of concern.
"Although the Frank's are not as powerful as the Avans or Smith they are still among the top ten most wealthy families not even in the City but also in the country so I am sure father and mum are gonna show...,"
"What exactly is your fears?" Elizabeth asked curiously. Her sister has always been fearless in every situation. There has not been any ti she wasn't confident of herself but for the first ti, she could read fears in her eyes.
"I am afraid that father will make things difficult for Ice Prince in the presence of everyone there. You know just how an father can be. I don't want Ice Prince to get hurt in any way...,"
"Why are you so worried about him instead of worrying about yourself? I heard his mum embarrassed you days ago in the mall. this shows that she doesn't want you for her beloved son...,"
"That isn't a problem. You are here to give tips on how to wow my future mother-in-law isn't it?" Jasmine asked in a playful.
"Why is his mum hatred towards you not an issue when your parents dislike towards him is a problem to you? Aren't you being biased here?" Elizabeth asked in a serious tone.
"That is because I know of ways to make his mum like whereas I don't even know how to start convincing father that Ice Prince is the one I want...,"
"Why are you so confident that she will accept you? Rumours had it that she wants the bratty lady who insulted you on the trip to be her daughter-in-law so what if she still doesn't accept you despite all your efforts to make her like you?" Elizabeth tried to be more realistic than being optimistic.
"I know when to call it quit. If she dares try to abuse my kindness just because I love her son then she will get to see the real side of Jasmine Avans. I won't treat her so nicely anymore, I am sure you know too well to know how an I can be?" Jasmine said with a smile.
"If I don't know my little sister's temperant very well then whose temperant will I know?" Elizabeth asked beaming.
"You can be a very evil witch sotis. You showed that a few tis...,"
"And that is a part of my charms," Jasmine said her smile broadening even more.

In a cafe close to the Smith company, two ladies could be seen sitting opposite each other.
The lady in a pink V-Neck long sleeve shirt had a worried look on while the lady in green suits looked extrely annoyed.
"Jane, what should we do now? I heard that the police commissioner is very interested in the kidnap case of the second daughter of the Avans Group. The news said that experts have been given the responsibility to investigate the case, you know what this ans," Rose said in an anxious tone.
"Jane, you know very well that my body is not fit for a place like jail. I am allergic to those kinds of places," Rose said looking very terrified.
"I paid those n in cash and I didn't use my personal identity when talking to them. They have been working for us for many years without knowing our identity so what are you so scared of?" Jane asked in annoyance.
"Instead of being scared, I am mad at them for not doing their job properly. This was my biggest opportunity to get rid of that sl*tty lady so how could they fail to accomplish such a small task?" Jane berated as she banged her hand against the black round table. These acts of her made other custors turn to stare in their direction.
"Jane instead of getting furious you should be happy that we didn't get implicated. You should be happy you spent your last night in your ho instead of in the police station. Rumours had it that Mr Avans is a cruel man so you should be thrilled that you are alive after you almost killed his beloved daughter....,"
"What is there to be happy about when that lady is around my Jack every single day? Because of the incident, Jack took a few days off work just to be with her so why should I be happy when my plan to separate them forever only backfire?" Jane asked with a clenched fist.
"I know you did not get what you want but I think you should be happy you did not get hard in the process," Rose said in a llowed tone.
"Jack is mine, not she or any other woman can snatch him away from . That I failed once doesn't an that I will stop at that. I will make sure I eliminate her no matter what. I won't let her be an obstacle between my happily ever after with Jack," Jane said emotionlessly.
Back in Alfred's ho just after having dinner at their ho, Jackson and Jasmine went back ho. Despite that Jackson wanted her to spend the night again over at his place Jasmine insisted on going back to her ho and Jackson had no choice but to drive to her ho.
Jackson had plans to sleepover at her place but Jasmine chased him out of her house after he has finished drinking the cup of coffee offered to him by Felicia.
"Hehe... That is his punishnt for rejecting for the past two nights," Jasmine muttered grinning evilly before Felicia assisted her upstairs.
Since Jackson never allowed her to work after she was rescued, Jasmine used tonight as an opportunity to go over through all the official emails she was yet to attend to. She worked until midnight.
