The news of Jasmine and I being in a relationship is on the internet? Wow, who did such a great favour? This is just what I needed to make my feelings for her known in the entire world. I am more than thrilled to hear that my company didn't suffer any harm from this.
Jackson thought beaming to himself. He gently sat on the couch with his legs crossed.
"The public is demanding for you to give an official statent about the news. Boss, should I issue an official statent that the news is just a rumour and that you and Miss Jasmine are rely friends....,"
"You wouldn't dare do that? Who says that you can do that?" Jackson interrupted him fiercely. His reaction startled the once happy Max.

"Then what do you want to do? Although everyone is happy with the rapid rise in stock prices, the way the reporters are outside the company is just so frustrating," Max said honestly.
With the reporters standing on guard outside, their work was slightly affected. All etings in and outside the office have been cancelled because of this.
"You are not gonna do anything about it. Just let them continue talking because the hotter the news the better for ok?" Jackson said grinning evilly. It was at this mont Jasmine ca out of the restroom.
Why the heck does he have that evil grin on?
Jasmine said as she stood in front of the door and stare at Jackson.
Jackson was too delighted to notice her presence and when he finally noticed that she was there, he quickly composed himself.
"Tell everyone that I will co back on the business trip tomorrow," Jackson said before he quickly concluded the call.
"Why didn't you say anything if you had co out of the restroom?" Jackson asked as he dropped his cellphone on the centre table.
"I did make a sound when I ca out but you were too engrossed with whover you were talking to realise my presence. And this makes want to ask, who were you on the phone with? Is it perhaps your secret lover?" Jasmine who just reached the couch asked suspiciously as she sat beside him.
"Were you planning about how you were gonna spend your ti with her after we travelled back tomorrow?" Jasmine turned to stare into his eyes.
She sounds jealous. I bet this is the perfect mont to tease her.
Jackson thought as he grinned inwardly.
"Why do you want to know? Are you perhaps jealous?" Jackson asked while staring into her eyes. He almost chuckled when he saw her looked away with a flustered expression visible on her pretty face.
"What... What are you saying?" Jasmine stutter to the delight of Jackson.
"Has soone ever told you that you look adorable whenever you are in denials?" Jackson said smiling broadly.
"I said I am not jealous..,"
"Ok, I will pretend that you are not jealous since you said so," Jackson said trying to suppress his laughter.
The fear of what Jasmine might do to him if he dares to laugh scares him. He was afraid she will punish him in a way he never imagined.
"You...," Jasmine said as she pointed her index finger at him. Jasmine slowly dropped her hand when Jackson did not say anything.
"Ice Prince, I recall you once told that you ca here on a business trip and also, I heard you talking about coming back from your business trip. And this brings to my real question, did you really co here for a business trip?" Jasmine asked as she gave him a suspicious glance.
"Since you arrived here, I have never seen you attend a eting. You are always within my sight so what kind of business trip did you co to the Maldives for?" Jasmine added not taking her gaze off him.
"Did you perhaps co here to et one of your many lovers...," Jasmine froze when Jackson suddenly pulled closer to her.
"Yes, I did not co here on a business trip like I told you....,"
"Does that an that my guess is correct?" Jasmine said as she stare into his eyes.
"I ca here for you. And apart from you, there has not been any other woman. It has always been you from the beginning until now," Jackson said while staring into her alluring Sapphire eyes. Seeing her eyes flutters, he had the urge to kiss those beautiful eyes of hers.
"Lies...,"
"I have never lied to you before and my feelings for you are true and sincere," Jackson said as he placed his right hand on her face.
"Why do you say that when you have lied to several tis. Jane isn't your fiance, why didn't you say it? Why did you make misunderstand your relationship?" Jasmine asked as she stare into his eyes searchingly.
"I never admitted that she was my fiance when you repeatedly refer to her as my fiance and I recall telling you on so many occasions, that she wasn't my fiance. You are the one who didn't believe my words," Jackson said as he continued caressing her face. He was surprised to see that she did not reject his advances.
"Then why didn't you tell that you were in love with sooner...,"
"Would you have said yes to my proposal if I had confessed earlier?" Jackson cut her short. Hearing his question, Jasmine could not give him a reply.
What would have been her reaction if he had confessed his feeling earlier? Would she have remained so calm after learning that the iceberg has fallen in love with her?
She can not imagine what her reaction would have been.
"I love you Jasmine and I kinda feel like you have feelings for too but even though my guess is wrong, it's alright. Because I am sure I am gonna make you fall in love with sooner than you can ever imagine...," Jackson trailed his eyes moved from her face to her rosy lips. Her tempting lips made him gulped hard.
"Don't forget, I am charming and irresistible. It's hard for ladies not to fall madly in love with ," Jackson said as his face inched closer.
"Stop being narcissistic," Jasmine said as she raised her hand and hit his chest gently.
