"Jasmine, you haven't completely recovered so how about you stay in the hospital....,"
"Ice Prince, I wasn't talking to you but my sister and Alfred. Besides, I let you have your way throughout yesterday so why do you still want to stay in the hospital?" Jasmine asked firmly. Jackson could not utter a word since he knows that all she said was the truth.
When she woke up yesterday she had insisted that she wanted to get discharged with the claim that she was fine but he was the one who insisted that she stayed in the hospital. He even had to threaten her when she kept on insisting on getting discharged.
No one has ever made Jack so well behaved. He is the one who always has an advantage in any conversation. In the past never had I thought that this day will co for him.. I guess this is the power of love. It humbles even the mightiest.
Evelyn thought beaming when she saw how quiet Jackson has beco after Jasmine spoke.
"You don't have to worry about the flight. We have postponed it to tomorrow and about the issue of you getting discharged, I will get that done later," Alfred said before Elizabeth could disagree.
"How could you agree to what she wants easily? Do you realise that you are spoiling her by treating her this way?" Elizabeth scolded in a playful tone.
"Did you expect him to be like you? Of course, brother-in-law is different. He is the one who treats Jasmine baby the best," Jasmine said acting like a child. Others who thought that she was pretending were so relieved to see her smiling.
"Jasmine, stop acting so adorable or you will get all our n seduced with your cuteness," Evelyn said sounding like she was displeased.
"If you don't want your man to get seduced then get him out of here or else he will get completely enticed by after I co out of the bathroom," Jasmine said playfully.
"You...," Evelyn was left speechless by Jasmine's shalessness.
"Stop stuttering and go because I need to shower and change into sothing sexy. You don't expect to get discharged looking so haggard right?" Jasmine said before she shifted her gaze to the others.
"We will leave then. I will get your discharge issue sorted out while you are getting ready," Alfred said as he held Elizabeth's hand. The others also left remaining only Jackson in the room.
"Are you not leaving too?" Jasmine asked staring at his face.
"I know I look even more ravishing with clothes off but I will advise you don't look so eager to see nude. You are not my boyfriend so I will never have sex with you no matter how much you like ...,"
"We can make it official right now. You just need to say the word and I will beco all yours," Jackson said hurriedly as he began approaching where she sits. It took Jasmine so ti to get over the shock his words left her.
He keeps leaving bewildered with his words and actions. I am afraid he is gonna give a heart attack if he continues acting like this.
Jasmine whose gaze never left Jackson's face thought as she placed her hand on her pounding chest.
I wonder why this damn heart of mine is beating so rapidly.
Jasmine cursed her heart inwardly. She was so scared that she might lose control of herself if Jackson gets even closer to her.
"Stop right there," Jasmine ordered sternly when Jackson was four steps away from her. Jackson halted the mont she spoke.
"I know staying with has made you beco a pro in seducing but I am still your senior in this aspect. Your tricks will never work on ," Jasmine said trying to sound composed and confident like she has always done. She knew she will be at a disadvantage if Jackson dares to get the hints that her entire system was in chaos.
"How are you so sure that it won't work on you when I haven't tried it on you? Also, why do your eyes speak a different thing from what your mouth says?" Jackson asked while staring into her eyeballs. He smiled when he saw her imdiately avoid his stares after he finished talking.
"What... what are you saying? You are just spewing nonsense," Jasmine felt like slapping her mouth for daring to stutter at such a critical mont.
"Then why can't you look in the eyes anymore? Are you scared that I will discover the secrets you are desperately trying to hide if you stare into my eyes?" Jackson said as he took two steps forward.
"If you dare walk any closer I won't talk to you until we leave the Maldives," Jasmine threatened in a hurried tone.
She is so adorable when she acts this way. I guess my patience really paid off.
Jackson thought bending so that his mouth is close to her ear.
"Stop acting so tense and breathe normally because I have no intention of getting that kiss you promised last night. I also have no intention of teasing you. Anyways, where is the fun of teasing you when they are so many third wheels lurking around?" Jackson said teasingly as he licked her ear before he turned and walk away.
His sudden teasing which others might have deed harmless sent electrifying currents down her spine. Her body went all stiffened.
"Damn you Jackson for making horny with just your tongue. You are no novice with this but a pro. I can't believe you have the ability to make feel this way," Jasmine relaxed her stiffened body after Jackson had left.
"And what kiss was he talking about? Did I promise him a kiss last night?" Jasmine thought aloud as she climbed out of bed.
A few minutes later Jane who just entered her room did not even drop her handbag when her cellphone rang. Because of how angry she was, she wasn't so happy to receive a phone call at that mont nevertheless, she still answered the line.
"Hello, Rose, I was just about to call you before your call entered. It's as if you read my mind," Jane said trying her best to hide her anger. She did not want to transfer her aggression to her friend.
