"Hmm... I don't know," Jasmine replied not staring at him.
"I know I promised Cat that I will give love a second chance but I don't know whether I want to ever fall in love again. I was hurt so imnsely by the first man I have ever loved. I made him my entire world and the reward he threw at my face was an absolute betrayal. I had promised myself never to fall in love again but lately, I keep having a strange feeling like my dead heart has been revived...,"
"Does that an you are willing to fall in love again?" Jackson asked with hope-filled eyes. Jasmine turned to face him.

"The heart is the most delicate and also the most difficult part of the human's body. It can't be controlled. You can't tell it what to do or how to do it. It does its own thing by itself so even though I don't want it to ever beat for any man, I am sure it won't listen to anymore," Jasmine said in a llowed thing.
"If ever your heart began beating normally again, what type of man do you want to fall in love with?" Jackson asked feeling so relieved that she did not ntion that she doesn't want to fall in love again.
"I don't know. Maybe I haven't thought about it because I am not interested...,"
"What about ? How about you consider falling in love with ?" Jackson said with hope-filled eyes.
"With you?" Jasmine chuckled to the surprise of Jackson. He could not understand what was funny about what he said.
"You have soone you love so why would I choose to fall in love with you. Instead of falling in love with a man who is in love with soone else, I would rather choose never to fall in love, do you know why!" Jasmine asked seriously.
"Because it is the most painful type of love any man or woman can ever experience. The pain of watching him get close to another woman is heart-wrenching and the most painful part of it is that you can never voice out your displeasure. I would never want to go through that type of pain because I might end up taking my life in the process," Jasmine said as she stare away from him.
But that is exactly what I go through every day. It hurts but I choose to endure it because of the bigger picture.
Jackson thought as he stare at her face.
"But I love...,"
"Ice Prince, let's go now. Don't forget we still need to go to the club with the others. I am sure they must be waiting for us," Jasmine interrupted him before he could say that she was the one he loves.
She climbed down from the car before he could give her a reply.
"With the way she always interrupts in the process of my confession, I wonder whether I will ever get to tell her how I feel about her," Jackson muttered as he stare at the lady approaching the door of the car. He climbed down from the car and went to take his seat at the steering.
When he was driving back, Jasmine did the talking while he listens and occasionally talks. The mont the car halted in front of the hotel building, Jackson made to co out of the car so he could open the door of the car for her but Jasmine held his hand.
"I have sothing to tell you," Jasmine said signalling him to sit back. Seeing how serious her expression was, Jackson closed the door and afterwards turned to stare at her.
"I want to tell you that I had so much fun today and this was all because of you. Thank you so much for letting do all I wanted and thank you for being very tolerant of ...," Jasmine trailed.
"Before I always thought that you were a jerk because of the ways you treated but I take those words back. You are a nice guy and I wish you will always be happy in the sa manner you made happy today," Jasmine said as she stretched and hug him. Her action stunned Jackson but he was lost at what to say. He was too overwheld.
"You aren't planning to run away so you won't get to see my annoying face right?" Jackson asked after she had pulled out of his embrace.
"If ever I have plans to run away don't worry I will take you along with ," Jasmine said playfully as she ca out of the car. She waited for him to get down from the car and when he did they entered the building together.
Jasmine was surprised when she entered her room and saw everyone sitting down as though they were waiting for soone. The only people who were missing from the room was Alfred and Elizabeth.
"You both are finally back. We thought you two were gonna sleep outside today since neither of you answered our calls," Catherine said in a scolding tone.
"We agreed to put our phones on silent since we did not want to get disturbed and after hearing your words, I am glad we did," Jackson said coldly.
"You...,"
"Jasmine, you are even wearing his jacket. What happened to your dress? Or don't tell you have love bites on your neck that is why you are trying to cover it up with his jacket," Evelyn said teasingly as she winked naughtily at them.
"Evelyn, what naughty thoughts are you entertaining? I felt cold that is why Ice Prince offered his jacket so stop letting your imagination run wild," Jasmine still standing beside Jackson quickly defended herself.
"Really?" Jeff asked throwing them suspicious glances.
"You both should give us your phones let see what naughty things you did out there," Steve added as he stretched forth his hand as a signal for them to hand over their phones.
