"That ans only Kai, Alfred, Elizabeth and Catherine are entitled to this if any of them wins. But this doesn't seem right, what if Catherine wins does? That ans she gets to spend the night with either of the n?" Jeff asked displeasingly. His displeasure was so obvious.
"Yeah...,"
"Are you saying that you will be cool with it if Kai and your best friend ends up spending the night together?" Jane asked. The tone of her voice makes it so obvious that she wants to stir up trouble.
"It is not called a ga for no just reason Miss Jane. A ga is a ga and it is rely for fun so why will I get furious just because my fiancee spend a night with my best? Besides spending the night doesn't necessarily an they are gonna have sex so why does it seem like Miss Jane has a problem with it?" Jasmine spoke without pausing to take a break.
Look at her acting so nonchalant.. I bet she can look so relax because she doesn't have an ounce of affection for my cousin. If she loved him, she wouldn't have had the guts to say all she did.
Jane thought glaring at Jasmine. Jasmine glared at her to show her that she did not like her too.
"Anyone who is not cool with the rule of the ga is free to leave. I am not forcing anyone to partake in the ga," Jasmine said sternly as she stare at their faces for a reply.
"Jasmine, don't let her take pleasure in making you upset. She is not worth it," Catherine said in a low tone as she hold onto Jasmine's hand.
"Jasmine, are we still playing the ga. I am all ready for the ga, it will be such a sha if you cancel the ga," Steve said as he stare at Jasmine.
"Who says I am gonna cancel the ga?" Jasmine said playfully. Seeing her smile everyone was very relieved.
"So who is gonna start the ga, is it the gentlen or the ladies?" Alfred asked curiously.
"Ladies first," Jackson replied before Jasmine could utter a word.
"We will go along with Ice Prince suggestion," Jasmine replied smiling.
"Wow, I can see that Jasmine and Jack have made up. They are even smiling at each other when earlier they barely look at each other," Evelyn muttered on seeing Jackson smile back at Jasmine.
"Jack can't stand to see her upset with him so I am sure he must have apologised or appeased her in one way or the other," Steve said as he focused his gaze on Jackson who could not stop smiling at Jasmine.
"He looks so happy. I can read happiness all over his face. I love seeing this side of him. I wish he and Jasmine will get together soon," Steve mumbled before he turned to face Jasmine who seems to be instructing Catherine and Elizabeth who were the two people comncing the ga.
After Catherine and Elizabeth were standing ready to hear the signal for them to begin the ga, Jasmine walked closer and whisper sothing into Catherine's ears.
"You know what to do Cat, make proud," Jasmine whispered before she pulled away. The mont she pulled away the signal for them to begin the ga sounded.
Seeing that sothing fun was happening at the pool, people began gathering around the pool to watch the competition going on.
On their last lap, people began cheering for their favourite competitor. The cheering of those rooting for Elizabeth overpowered those of Catherine's supporters.
"Lizzy, co on you can do this. Just a little more," Jasmine scread at the top of her lungs when they were a few distances from reaching the finishing line.
"Yay!!!" Jasmine scread as she jumped in the air when Elizabeth first touched the edge of the pool before Catherine. She quickly helped Catherine out of the pool while Alfred assisted his wife.
"You did amazingly well, Liza," Alfred complinted as he wiped her hair with the white towel in his hand. Elizabeth just beam at him. She felted so happy to be complinted by him.
"Alfred, it is yours and Kai's turn now," Jasmine inford after the air of excitent has worn off.
"Alfred, Big Sis tried all her best to win so that you both can spend so uninterrupted sweet ti tonight so don't disappoint her. You must grant her wish of having you all to herself," Jasmine said loudly just to tease her sister who had stood up from her seat when it was her husband's ti to compete.
"I won't," Alfred said confidently as he turn and concentrated his attention on the pool.
Jeff in charge of blowing the signal sounded the signal for them to start. Both Alfred and Kai dived into the water at the sa ti.
"Why does it look like Kai has forgotten the favour I asked of him," Jasmine mumbled when she saw how seriously Kai was swimming. re staring at him and you will know that he wanted to win.
Jasmine and everyone nervously waited for the last round. Everyone watching the competition between the unyielding n was all anxious but the most nervous of them all was Elizabeth. The way she acted was so obvious that she wanted her husband to win.
Because of the tension in the air, everyone watched the show in silence when it has reached the final laps.
"Fred, you've got this. You can do it. You are the best," Elizabeth blurted in a cheering tone when she saw that Alfred was a little behind.
Everyone turned and stare at her but she didn't seem to care about their weird stares.
"Alfred, if not for anyone but for my big sister's happiness you can do this," Jasmine muttered as she nervously shifted her gaze to stare at the competitors. She was shocked when she saw that Kai and Alfred were at the sa level.
"I guess only sister's cheering can perform such magic," Jasmine thought as she smiled at her sister. Seeing that they were both an arms reach away, Jasmine deliberately refused to watch anymore.
