Everyone watched as Jasmine walked away. With these two people gone, nobody had the appetite to eat anymore. They all left the dining table one after the other.
Jasmine who reached where Jackson was sitting on the sand staring at the water, sat down beside him. She sat down there with him for five minutes yet he did not spare her a glance.
"Ice Prince, why are you avoiding ? Are you mad at ? Did I do sothing to upset you?" Jasmine asked curiously as she turn and stare at his face.
"I know you were mad yesterday but since you bought my favourite cake, I thought we were cool but I was shocked when you ignored this morning. You won't even stare at , why?" Jasmine asked curiously as she stare at the guy who wouldn't even stare in her way.
"You now have a partner and you both seem to be getting along well so I don't think I am needed anymore. It's a renowned fact that you always discard each ti he is around," Jackson said trying his best not to show his jealousy.
"Who says you are no longer needed?" Jasmine asked as she used her hand to turn his face around so that she was staring at him.
"You are my friend so tell how on earth I would no longer need my friend anymore," Jasmine asked staring into his eyes.
Friend? I guess this title is better than being called a stranger by her?
Jackson thought as he stare at her sapphire eyes which he loved so much.
"You are just staying this. The guys can testify to the fact that you ignore each ti your fiancee is around...,"
"Why do you sound like a jealous husband, Mr Jackson Smith? Would you have punished for hanging out with another man if I was your girlfriend?" Jasmine asked playfully as she caressed his cheek in a bid to make him softened his cold expression.
"Why not? I am sure that you would have punished too in the cruellest way if I was your boyfriend so why wouldn't I do the sa if you were my girlfriend?" Jackson asked his lips curling into a sly smile when his eyes t her pouting lips.
It was at this sa ti of them staring at each other that Kai and Jane t them.
"Kai, your girlfriend keeps on seducing my man at every given opportunity. She is your woman so I suggest you do sothing about her. Things will get very ugly if she keeps getting on my nerves, you know that right?" Jane said in a threatening tone.
"I have tried to create a place for myself in his life and I will not just sit down here and watch so sl*t....,"
"Watch your tongue, Jane. That is the future madam of the Allen family that you are talking about so mind the way you talk. You might be my cousin but I won't stand here and watch you call her despicable nas," Kai said angrily.
"If she is the future madam of the Allen family then she should act as one instead of flirting around with the guy I have set my mind on since I was a child," Jane said before she angrily stomped away.
Jasmine and Jackson were too busy talking to care about those who were staring or not staring at them.
"Although you sound so annoying, I will still say that this smile suits you more that than frowning. Smile often so that you will get yourself a nice wife," Jasmine said as she winked naughtily at him.
"And you, continue acting cute so that your future husband won't fall out of love with you," Jackson said as he pulled her cheeks playfully.
"So that my future husband won't fall out of love with ? Who is this future husband of mine that is in my life right now?" Jasmine anxiously asked as she continued staring into his eyes.
Seeing Jackson brings his mouth close to her ears made Jasmine's heart pound in excitent.
"It's a secret," Jackson whispered into her ears smiling before he pulls away almost instantly.
"You cheat! You tricked again," Jasmine said as she playfully hits Jackson by the shoulder.
The two continued to talk and teasing each other at intervals. When the sun had gone down, Jasmine gathered everyone around.
"Hello, guys in a few minutes we are gonna start our ga and in this ga, we will all be divided into two groups. These two groups will go against each other in this ga I call THE ROPE BATTLE," Jasmine standing in front of them announced excitedly.
"The rope battle? It sounds as fun and as crazy as you. I have the feeling that we are gonna love it," Catherine said giving her thumbs up although she did not know what the ga entails.
Jasmine went on and explain the details of the ga to everyone and at the end of the day, everyone except Jane was cool with her idea.
"What a childish play that is ant for high school students. I am sure Jack will never agree to play such a ga," Jane mumbled to the hearing of everyone. Even Jasmine heard her mocking remarks but she pretended not to hear.
"Ok, Jasmine the ga sounds thrilling especially since the beauty is gonna join us," Jackson replied to the embarrassnt of the once confident Jane. Evelyn felt like sneering at her but she held herself back.
How could she assu that JK wouldn't like any idea Jasmine cos up with? Is she just stupid or is she still in denial about everything?
Jeff thought shaking his end at the young lady's foolishness.
"Since there is no objection then that is great. We are gonna start imdiately with the first ga," Jasmine said excitedly. Before she could speak again, a guy wearing a yellow t-shirt and a pair of black trousers interrupted their gathering.
"Hello, I am looking for Miss Jasmine Avans," the guy announced politely.
"Yes, I am the one. How may I help you?" Jasmine asked in a calm tone? The delivery guy went ahead to say that he wanted to deliver a package she ordered about an hour ago.. Jasmine smiled delightfully when she realised that the tool for the ga arrived just in ti for the ga.
