"Jasmine, the coincidence that his business trip has to be on the sa day and the sa place is very slim if not impossible. What happened here seed to be planned if you may ask . I am not saying coincidence doesn't happen, it does but not in this instant. I refuse to believe that eting him here was a re coincidence, Jasmine," Elizabeth concluded in a serious tone.
"I am sure you must have thought about this too but you rely brush it off because you didn't want to believe in this," Elizabeth said exactly what Jasmine did. She indeed brushed off the idea that there must be sothing else to why Jackson ca there.
"Jasmine, you have always acted like you are an expert in relationships and in reading people's feelings so why have you failed in ready his feelings for you. Is it that you haven't noticed all the green lights he has been sending towards your direction or you noticed but is only pretending?" Elizabeth questioned the quiet Jasmine. Elizabeth has never seen Jasmine so speechless before.
"Big Sis, I don't know what you are talking about," Jasmine said standing up. She approached Jackson's direction afterwards.
"She has always acted like the best love expert but why do I feel like she has low EQ, she can't even decipher his feelings for her when it is so obvious.
I wonder if I should applaud her for this or not," Elizabeth said her gaze focused on Jasmine's departing back.
"Ice Prince, what is so pretty about the ocean that you have been staring so keenly at?" Jasmine asked as she sat down beside him.
"You always stare at the water too right so what do you find pretty about the ocean that you had to always stare at it?" Jackson replied to her question with another question.
Jasmine turn and gave him a disapproving gaze when she realised that he was trying to dodge her question.
"Since you won't give a reply to my first question then I am sure you will definitely reply to my second question," Jasmine said as she slowly use her hand to turn his face so that his gaze was centred on her.
While Jasmine was doing this she did not know that her sister's Eagle eyes did not relent to capture each of her movents. Even her every emotion was read through her face.
"I can't help but think that those two looks perfect together. They are like fire and ice. Jasmine is the fire while Jackson is the ice. There is no way the ice will get close to the fire that it won't get lted. I don't know whether it is only my opinion but all I know is that they complent each other very well," Elizabeth mumbled smiling brightly.
"Yeah, you are right about. Jasmine has always been the carefree type but honestly, I haven't seen her act this way with any guy. She is just so super free with him," Elizabeth heard a man husky voice behind her. Without having to turn around she knew that the voice belong to her husband.
"It's too bad that mum and dad arranged her marriage with the Young Master of the Allen family if not the Young Master of the Smith family would have been a perfect match for her," Alfred said as he sat down beside her.
"That little sister of mine has been unusually quiet. The way she acts so obediently scares . This phrase fits this action of hers perfectly, 'The calm before the storm'. I am afraid she is gonna do sothing big and it is likely gonna be because of her marriage to Kai Allen," Elizabeth said in a worried tone.
"I agree with you about that. Jasmine we all know isn't usually this quiet. Although she might be up to so mischief again, I am sure she will be able to handle it so don't worry too much about her and also don't forget, we are here to back her up," Alfred said just to ease his wife's fears a little.
The two focused their attention on Jackson and Jasmine once again.
"Was it the ocean you were staring at or ? If it's then between and the ocean which is more beautiful?" Jasmine asked as she continued staring into his eyes.
"Did you need to ask? Of course, it is you...," Jackson paused when he realise what his excitent has done.
"Why did you stop?" Jasmine questioned sternly but unfortunately for her Jackson refused to utter a word to her.
"Are you gonna stare at without saying a word?" Jasmine asked when Jackson continued to remain quiet.
"My sister who has been watching you said you are in love with because of the way you stare at earlier and she is very sure of what she saw so is it true? Are you in love with like she said?" asked Jasmine in an anxious tone? For so unknown reason, her heart began beating erratically. This is the first ti in a long ti her heart has ever beat this way and she feels strange about this.
What is wrong with this stupid heart of mine? Why is it suddenly beating so rapidly?
Jasmine scolded her throbbing heart which she thought was dead.
"What is your answer? Do you believe her?" Jackson asked as he stares at her lovely eyes.
"I asked you a question first so it's only right you give an answer first," Jasmine insisted when she noticed that Jackson wanted to trick her into talking.
"It is not a sin if you answer first so go ahead," Jackson urged her not doing what she wanted.
"Of course I don't believe what she says. I an you told you are in love with soone so how could you be in love with at the sa ti?" Jasmine said firmly.
"What about your response. I want to hear your reply to my earlier question," Jasmine said in a serious tone.
