"Hahaha... I thought he would keep on acting cold. This is much fun. It is more interesting than I had thought," Jasmine said laughing delightfully. Seeing her laugh so beautifully everyone could not help but wonder what is so amusing to the She-devil.
While Jasmine was having the fun of her life she did not know that her date was patiently waiting for her in room 104. After so many minutes of waiting he ran out of patience. Out of fury, he called his mum to ask what was the problem.
"Mother, I thought you said she would definitely co so why hasn't she arrived even after so many minutes has passed? Is she playing gas with or what?" The guy wearing a gradient suit asked pacing about the spacious room.
"Calm down, her mum assured that she was on her way when she called earlier. I am sure she is caught up in traffic so be a little more patient," the elderly woman said in a ek tone.
"Be patient? For how long should I continue being patient? She has the nerves to stand up after her mum assured you that she was gonna co. Who the hell does she think she is to do this to us?" The guy asked his frown deepening more.
"The Avans are not those to be taken trivially so keep calm. Her parents trying to get you both married is a huge blessing to us and our business so get your head straight because whether or not the marriage happens they have nothing to lose but we do. Do you understand what I an?" The elderly woman said over the phone. The mont Mike heard that it was the Avans daughter he had a blind date withh, his temper took 180 degrees turn. He felt like his entire system was poured with icy water.
"By Avans do you an Miss Jasmine?" Mike asked nervously. He could feel his heart beating rapidly in excitent.
"Mr and Mrs Avans only have two daughters and the first daughter got married almost a year ago so who else would I be talking about if not the renowned Jasmine?" Mrs Williams said. She smiled at the other end when she realised that her son's temper has cooled down.
"Mother, why didn't you say so when you called to inform about the blind dates? All my thoughts were that you picked so boring lady for not knowing that the famous Jasmine was my date," the guy said as he examined his clothes. Although since he ca back about a year ago from handling his family's business overseas he hasn't t her, he has heard so many things about her. He has overheard n who have fallen victims in her hands call her the great seducer. When he tried to get more information from them and they refused to utter a word to hide their sha, he had ordered his n to do an investigation on her. From their reports, he got to understand what the n ant by calling her the great seducer.
There is no man she sets her mind on to seduce that she doesn't seduce. It only took her one eting to subdue her targets. Anyone who proves stubborn does not last over their third eting that is why n who beca her preys gave her the title the great seducer. When he heard these stories about her he has beco so intrigued by her but because of how workaholic the young lady is he hasn't been privileged to et her and now that he knows that she is his date, he can't help but get nervous.
"Now that you know, don't forget to comport yourself. Don't give her the opportunity to reject you," Mrs Williams said before she disconnected the call.
"So I will get to et her today, this is great!" Mike exclaid happily as he rearranged his clothes and sat back down on the white couch.
Back in the restaurant Jasmine sat there patiently waiting for Jackson to co back from the restroom. While waiting, an idea pops into her head. She smiled evilly as she brought out her phone from her white handbag. She typed sothing on the phone. After she was done she dropped her phone back in her handbag.
"Was it that bad that he had to take such a long ti in the restroom?" Jasmine who has a eting in the next fifteen minutes mumbled after checking her wristwatch. She turned to stare in the direction he took.
Or maybe I should check on him. I will not have to hold back with my teases since they won't be so many prying eyes.
Jasmine thought as she stood up and turned to head towards the direction of the bathroom. Imdiately she raised her gaze she saw him approaching her.
"Wow! The god of rcy must be on his side today. He has saved him from my clutches," Jasmine murmured as she sat back down.
"You can use the table now all you want because I am leaving for another appointnt," Jackson said when he reached his table, he turned and walk back to the counter almost imdiately.
Seeing how icy his expression has turned back, I guess that ans he has recovered from my first torture. Now it is ti for my second torture.
Jasmine said smirking devilishly as she stood up and head out of the restaurant. After he paid his bills he turned back to stare in the direction she was sitting earlier, he heaved a sigh of relief when he realised that she was gone.
What he did not know was that the demoness was eagerly waiting for him outside.
