"Is everyone ready?"

Standing on the diving platform by the lake, the teacher, dressed in an indigo long dress, waved her hand and looked back at her students.

"We're ready." The students gazed curiously at the crystal clear Fragrant Leaf Lake. It was still the end of winter; the weather was cold, and the water was icy.

"Then I'll jump first. Follow one by one. We've covered the first two lessons of the diving breathing formula, and today we'll put it to use," said the young teacher before she lightly stepped forward and plunged into the lake below, creating only a small splash.

"The teacher really went down. Do we have to follow? The water feels so cold."

"Of course, we go down, or there won't be any credits." After saying this, a few boys glanced at each other, leaped from the platform, and entered the water.

"I'm a bit scared; I'm not that good at swimming." Although the students were ntally prepared, so still hesitated when it ca to diving.

"Scared? Then I'll push you in," teased a few 'helpful' classmates with a laugh, scaring the student who had spoken into making a hasty leap forward and eventually falling into the water below, raising a large splash.

"It seems so montum is indeed needed," they chuckled and then jumped in as well.

On the side, l was clutching Tilan's sleeve, looking timidly at Fragrant Leaf Lake.

"It's so cold, Hexia. I didn't dare touch the cold water even when I washed my face this morning. If I jump in now, I'll definitely turn into a frozen fish stick." She was reluctant to jump.

"It's fine; it won't be cold once you jump in." The girl comforted her companion and then slowly approached the platform with l.

"Let's do it together." She took l's hand, which gave the girl a little more courage, but her steps were still reluctant.

When they reached the platform, both perford the secret technique for underwater breathing and then took the leap.

"Plunk—"

With the cold lake water flooding in, they quickly sank beneath the surface and then floated up in the water. The bottom was not dark, as the teacher had released glowing particles beforehand to help the students see the underwater scenery clearly.

"Glug, glug—"

Bubbles spread under the water as the students adjusted to the underwater environnt, slowly opened their eyes, and looked around.

Thanks to the secret technique of underwater breathing, their bodies were covered with a layer of water-repellent film, preventing direct contact between their eyes and the water. They could now approximately see the underwater situation.

A young woman opened her arms under the water and swam like a rmaid. Her indigo skirt wrapped around her legs, which moved like a rmaid's tail, supple and graceful. Around her, the light particles dispersed, continuously illuminating the lake bed.

It was still winter, and most of the animals were hibernating, making the water extraordinarily clear. The students followed the teacher's guidance, slowly adjusted their directions and postures, and followed her as they swam forward.

Today's lessons were all related to underwater activities. Yuanting's training of students, although not as specialized as Edith's in certain fields towards the top tiers, was more comprehensive, covering everything from small tasks like cooking in the kitchen, to dium tasks like how to select goods and bargain, to larger ones like extre environnt survival skills—all of which were taught. Perhaps it's because, as a Breeder, one often has to travel and adventure, so knowledge of everyday life is always indispensable.

Subrging underwater and with the operation of Magic Power, the heat generated offset the cold brought by the lake water, and Tilan and the other students gradually adapted to the underwater environnt.

'Feeling better now?' Tilan asked l, who was by her side, her voice arising directly in the other's consciousness.

'Mhm,' l nodded, the faint warmth from the hand she held with Tilan driving away the chill around her.

The two followed their classmates, swimming towards the deeper parts of the lake bed. A few minutes later, the teacher stopped everyone underwater, and with the guidance of earphones and hand signals, everyone joined hands and slowly descended. Then the teacher gently tapped on the closed clamshell down there, revealing the large pearl inside. After that, a pale ripple spread out, and everyone felt their minds clear, and the water temperature seed to beco a bit warr.

Then, under the teacher's operation, an isolating bubble expanded underwater, enveloping everyone. Afterward, they all erged from the water and found a suitable place to sit down on the underwater gravel.

'Alright, you should be able to speak now, let's start today's underwater lesson,' the teacher clapped her hands lightly to draw everyone's attention.

In the following hour, the teacher explained the Transcendent animals commonly found in Fragrant Leaf Lake, their habits, common breeding thods, among other things, and even caught a few for the students to observe and reinforce their mory.

The enriching and interesting lesson made it seem as though ti flew by swiftly.

When it was ti to finish for lunch at noon, everyone reluctantly followed the teacher up to the surface and back to shore.

'Class is over now, dismiss~' After that, everyone dispersed cheerily, heading to their favorite restaurants to eat, discussing what to eat along the way.

Ti passed leisurely. During her days at Yuanting Academy, Tilan slowly learned various thods of breeding Transcendent animals, occasionally visiting the library to consult parts of interest or asking experienced teachers for advice.

Ti quietly moved into February when the weather grew warr, and many trees and plants in the Academy began to sprout new buds, everything brimming with vibrant life.

After this period of study and specific research, Tilan also began to look for advanced routes for the few Transcendent animals she had around her.

The large spider didn't need much concern; Botis had long ago planned out its advanced direction, but it was sowhat rash in its developnt due to previous lack of skill. Now, after two years of accumulation and with Tilan's help in conditioning and assisting, advancing to Sequence 5 was not much of an issue.

The five Light Cotton Birds were being bred specifically towards the direction of Sky Oracle Swallowtails, so she wasn't worried about their advanced route choices either. The directions for the two little snakes had not yet been decided.

'What do you two think?' Tilan looked at the two little ones in front of her, her fingers tapping on her chin in thought.

The Tree Viper seed to be aiming for a dragon transformation line in terms of bloodline, and it favored the cold. It was already capable of Levitation, and its future direction was likely sothing akin to the legendary Ice Chi.

The Indigo Snake clearly preferred firelight and heat, with its own abilities also related to the Sun—it was The Otherkind among snakes.

After thinking for a while and finding it tough to decide, Tilan resolved to check the Yuanting Academy library for more information. The place housed nurous historical records. Yuanting had exchanged quite a few books and materials with other 'Courts' over the years, which might yield so new insights.

Once decided, Tilan spent the following period whenever she had free ti delving into the library, browsing through various records. She also enjoyed the leisurely and comfortable monts within Yuanting Academy—there was no intense competition here. The students were infected by the simple and relaxed lifestyle aura of the animals, unconsciously easing so of their anxieties, becoming more imrsed in their inner voice, and spending ti on personal interests aside from attending classes.
