During the intermission, the online discussions outside the venue beca fervently heated.
"Sevia La's moves are so similar to Temisia's back in the day!!"
"And Hexia, as Temisia's sister, is also so strong, no less than her sister was back then."
"Comparing videos and images of the two sisters, who is more powerful?"
"Saint Ingo Academy has also fallen. It seems they were in a panic this ti, hastening to stop the match, fearing that Sevia La would be seriously injured and affect her subsequent performance."
"The competition this year is becoming more and more exciting."
Setting aside the heated discussions online, inside the rest room, Deloris touched Tilan's chest to confirm that the girl wasn't hiding anything from her and had healed well before she let go of her hand.
"Phew, I was almost scared to death."
"I told you I was fine." The girl sat on the edge of the bed, signaling that she was in perfect condition and felt fine, so there was no need to worry.
"That's good to hear."
Efnie and Ruby, who were standing by, relaxed a bit as they saw Tilan was in good shape. They knew the girl's strengths better than Deloris and were aware that she wouldn't be so easily defeated or injured.
"The final is coming up next, so let's let Tilan rest for now." After speaking, they left the room and Tilan took a brief rest by herself.
Ti slipped away quietly, and 20 minutes later, with the enthusiastic voice of the announcer, the final officially began.
"First up, Hexia Tilan versus Seraphiel!"
The two who were prepared stepped into the arena, and compared to the previous match, they seed much more relaxed this ti.
"It might be a bit difficult, but you need to be careful, Tilan. I'm going to give it my all this ti."
After entering the arena, Seraphiel closed her eyes briefly and then opened them, her pale golden eyelashes fluttered, and a special symbol appeared on her forehead. This ti she wasn't holding a sword, but instead gripped a gorgeous staff adorned with tiny golden circles that jingled crisply as they touched each other.
"I'm ready." The girl nodded slightly, swung her sword simply, and strands of cold air rose from the silver sword edge.
Ding ding dang dang—
Ethereal music emanated from that staff, and following that, the fla emblem on Seraphiel's brow sparkled, and a pair of snow-white wings burning with golden flas unfolded, gradually lifting her body into the air.
Underneath her snow-white skirt, a pair of bare feet peeked out. As Seraphiel slowly ascended into the sky, a pair of pure white circles appeared around her ankles, and an array with wing patterns also materialized behind her. Her entire body looked as if it were encased in a sphere made of light, sacred and flawless. The aura she emitted also subtly broke through Sequence 5, entering the status of Sequence 6.
Is this the full glory of Angel's Blessing, the girl wondered, gazing at the Seraphiel rising in the night sky, and a strange sensation ca over her—as if the Seraphiel before her eyes was different from before, as if a higher-dinsional force was slowly rging and superimposing with her.
In the end, Seraphiel wrapped in light hovered in the night sky like the sun, illuminating the entire arena, giving onlookers the sensation of being in the bright and scorching afternoon of high sumr.
It seems I can't hold back my strength tonight, Tilan blinked, then lightly swung her sword blade and leaped up as well.
The magic power of the Withering Sequence scattered, and a pair of black wings wove themselves behind her. As she sang out loud, a full moon emblem erged on her forehead, and the dazzling glow poured down from the sky above, diluting the heat in the arena.
In response, Seraphiel continued to chant with her eyes closed, until the last golden circle slowly took shape, hovering behind her head. This golden circle, like condensed liquid light, was magnificent yet softly luminous, not blinding, evoking an indistinct but unavoidable sense of awe as if a gentle spin could shake the entire arena.
Similar to Seraphiel, Tilan, bathed in the moonlight, stood aloft with black wings tinted by a layer of gleaming silver. anwhile, a full moon array erged behind the girl as well, reflecting off the huge moon in the sky.
At this mont, the sky seed split in two—one side a golden sun and the other a bright full moon. As the moonlight coalesced, a delicate lunar wreath materialized behind the girl, which upon closer look, was composed of complex designs continually dyeing Aijeika particles with a silver sheen, allowing them to slowly rge into it.
"Holy Fla White Sun·Blazing Ten Swords"
Seraphiel opened her eyes, raised her hand, and then ten pure white holy swords appeared, circling around her. These ten longswords, engraved with various scripture chants, symbolized ten commandnts and were the legendary secret technique from the ancient Holy Fla Palace of Ten Swords.
Burning with sacred white flas, these ten longswords shot out one after another, like flaming cots, hurtling towards the girl who was quietly singing with closed eyes.
Tilan's eyes revealed the moonlight gleam as she raised a hand high, a pure jade branch materialized, adorned with tiny silver leaves.
"Azure Bird's Inheritance: Broken Laurel Moon Branch"
Holding the immaculate branch, the girl swung it downward, scattering the silver leaves and dissipating the branch like light into the wind.
A gust of delicate light breeze brushed past, like a veil under the moon, engulfing the oncoming ten longswords and extinguishing the burning fervor of the ten holy swords.
After performing that move, Tilan spread her hands open, as if scattering silver sand from her palms, with dots of starlight drifting through the air, flickering on and off.
Accompanied by the evening breeze, this silver sand scattered with the wind, resembling the Milky Way in the sky, and even the audience far below at the venue felt a wave of coolness that refreshed their spirits.
Seraphiel clasped her staff with both hands and closed her eyes to chant. It was a secret technique unique to the Holy Fla Palace. As she recited the scripture and cursing chants, a golden fla radiated from the array behind her. This fla then split into several burning fireballs, encircling her.
These incandescent fireballs gradually grew in size, and the circular formation they ford expanded, until each fireball was over ten ters in width, and within them, Seraphiel seed tiny.
Flas baked the land and the sky, Seraphiel's hair was lifted by the airflow, and amid the dazzling blaze, beads of sweat began to form on her forehead, reflecting shimring light points. Even with the Angel's blessing, her strength was only at Sequence 5, and now, controlling these burning sunlike fireballs, she was reaching her limit.
The flas licked at the air, with crackling sounds popping in the night sky every now and then, especially when the scattered silver sand ca into contact with the fireballs, exploding and evaporating as if water dropped into fire.
anwhile, as Seraphiel was casting the ancient secret technique of the Holy Fla Palace, Tilan also took out a jade flute and began to play it under the moonlight. In the lingering sound of the flute, the silver sand in the sky twinkled, as if it had dyed and subrged the night sky for dozens of miles around.
The Songstress's Talent was fully displayed at this mont; the music stirred and imrsed the audience's hearts and minds, and as the silver sand spread, the moonlight in the sky beca brighter and covered a wider area.
In the streets outside the Winter Festival competition venue, so passersby stopped out of curiosity, gazing at the bright full moon that had erged in the sky, along with the wind-blown silver sand and flute music.
"What is this..." Drivers who were originally on the road also slowed down, pulled over to the curb, rolled down their windows, and gazed toward the distant night sky.
"Woof woof~" People walking their dogs at night were also startled by the sudden quiet of the environnt, turning their eyes away from their personal devices.
As if gentle snowflakes were falling, the world beca quiet at this mont.
——————
Inside the venue.
Seraphiel flapped her wings and took off from a diagonal direction, charging towards the girl in the moonlight. One by one, the white fla fireballs, like the sun, broke through the layers of airwaves and rushed towards the girl's side, scattering the night's silver sand and moonlight, shattering this cold world.
The staff she held had now transford into a three-ter-long Holy Fla Greatsword, which Seraphiel wielded, leaving a long trail in the night sky, like the afterimage left by dazzling sunlight on the retina.
The attacking white fla fireballs shattered the girl's array behind her, causing Aijieka Particles in the air to evaporate and disappear. The whole night sky briefly turned into the Radiant Feather Sequence's Magic Power domain. Then, the massive fireballs pressed down with blinding heat, as if plunging one into flas.
Even though her sleeves were scorched and the tips of her hair began to show signs of charring, Tilan didn't stop playing until Seraphiel's Holy Fla Greatsword swung down. It was only then that Tilan let go of the flute, dodging the brilliant sword that nearly grazed her.
The white jade flute evaporated instantly in the flas, then disappeared without a trace. Faced with such a scene, Tilan was not surprised; few Transcendent beings of Sequence 6 would be able to withstand such an attack from Seraphiel.
What terrifying combat power, the girl thought. If Seraphiel had unleashed such strength during her fight with Sevia La, maybe she wouldn't have been defeated.
However, such an Angel Possession secret technique must have restrictions on duration and usage, as well as a great burden and impact on the body. In other words, if she had used it earlier, she wouldn't have been able to use it again in this final match.
Her body dodging the sweeping giant fla sword, Tilan flipped upwards, weaving through the nurous great white fla fireballs until more than ten seconds later when she broke through the encirclent, escaping the highly intense purifying domain.
Feeling the cool moonlight again, the girl stretched out her right hand, and a moonlight symbol on her forehead flashed.
"Azure Bird's Inheritance: Picking Stars and Falling Moons"
At that mont, the entire night sky seed to have the Milky Way reversing its flow. Countless streams of silver sand rushed towards the girl's location, the massive flickering starlight manifesting the shape of the night wind converging on a single, tiny figure, until it settled in that pale and snow-white palm.
These brilliant pieces of silver sand regrouped, the Aijieka Particles they absorbed and transmuted into Moonlight Magic Power now bit by bit forged a new silver Sword Edge.
The sword blade was slender and exquisite, like moonlight gliding over water, with a blue tassel made of Swallow Grass at the end of the sword hilt.
Upon holding the sword hilt, Tilan reversed the Sword Edge and positioned it in front of her. Then she swung the blade in a perfect crescent trajectory through the air, like an immaculate circle revolving around herself.
"Azure Bird's Inheritance: Swallow Clipping Moon"
A serene voice erged, followed by the sky's enormous fireballs being smoothly cut in two. Countless boiling white fla sparks then fell, like molten fire magma.
After that sword strike, the golden fla circle behind Seraphiel shattered, she spat out a trace of blood, and the state of Angel Possession she was in instantly left, descending from Sequence 6 back to Sequence 5.
Under the pale moonlight, the large white fla fireballs in the sky cracked and fell as a spectacular shower of fire, and Seraphiel also fell within it, until just before she would hit the ground, a silver crescent moon surfaced and caught her, slowing her descent, and gently placing her on the ground.
The full moon in the sky remained bright and clear, but the sun-like fierce white fla had dispersed in an instant.
"Edith Academy wins!"
After the referee announced it, a long-lasting stir and exclamations filled the venue. The match had lasted only a few minutes, but to the audience, it felt as if they had lived through a century, leaving them with a sensation of having been through ti.
