The spiraling lance rotated in the sky, countless flas gathered from the night like sand through an hourglass, then coiled around the shaft, converging at the gleaming spear point.

Like the mythological lightning that signifies the end of the world, the spiraling lance was hurled, carrying an unstoppable montum through the atmosphere, shattering barrier after barrier, plunging into the earth and exploding open, tearing the entire venue apart in that mont. The surge of heat that spilled out was so intense that, even with the protective light shield in front of the spectator stands, the audience felt a slight sensation of suffocation, their faces heated up, and they began to sweat at the back.

As the smoke and flas cleared, the sky slowly revealed the figure who was lowering his hand, his golden eyes gazing down upon the earth with an unwavering aura still present.

"This is..."

"A na completely unknown to us."

"So strong that it defies description."

In the third round of eliminations, as the team with the fewest mbers, Thunder Edge had already suffered three consecutive defeats. When the last mber stepped up, expectations were almost nonexistent, yet this previously unremarkable youth displayed a strength far beyond anyone's imagination, defeating a top ten opponent from Saint Ingo Academy with a single move.

Moreover, judging by this montum, it was likely that even multiple opponents of the sa rank would et the sa fate.

"Thunder Edge, fourth year, Levito."

"Such strength is probably beyond even so Sequence 6 Transcendents." That was soone's assessnt.

"Could this be Thunder Edge's hidden ace?"

"Thunder Edge always gives us unexpected surprises and shocks when we least expect it."

Although the competition continued, many in the audience were still talking about the youth who had just appeared, and those watching the live broadcast online began to discuss this erging star on various forums.

"This year's Winter Festival Tournant is extraordinary, not to ntion the hot favorites like Seraphiel and Sweitevi, now another Levito has erged. And looking at Saint Ingo Academy's deanor, they're not the least bit anxious, they probably have hidden aces that have yet to appear."

"On an average level, Saint Ingo and Edith Academy have the advantage, but in terms of individual brilliance, Lelysia and Thunder Edge have attracted more attention."

"The Swarm's Reign and the Crystals in between seem sowhat weaker this term. They have a decent overall strength, but there's no real highlight."

"Tomorrow, the seed players from each academy would take the stage, and the true nature of this Winter Festival Tournant will finally be unveiled."

In Edith Academy's preparation hall, Tilan leaned on Deloris's knees for a nap until she was awakened by their arms shaking her.

"Tilan, look quickly." Efnie prompted the girl, pointing to the screen where the cara focused on the youth suspended in the sky.

"Another player exceeding expectations, what do you think, Tilan?" Deloris helped the black-haired girl sit up in her arms.

"Indeed, quite formidable." The girl blinked, and though she was indoors, her senses extended, allowing her to perceive remnants of the air currents and magic power lingering in the air.

Such power could possibly be even more formidable than Seraphiel and Sweitevi before, she judged internally.

If the opponent hadn't used any cheating thods to enhance his strength, his Talent might have to be assessed as Legendary.

She closed her eyes, calculating in her mind how she might overco him if they were to confront each other.

If relying only on her Songstress ability (Starshine Level) along with a portion of her Talent (Crystalline Healing), it would be very difficult to defeat the opponent outright with the talents and abilities she had so far revealed.

It seed inevitable in this competition that she would have to reveal her distinct Talent, the girl mused silently. Still, it would be wise to be selective about it, as the impact of her Songstress Talent was too significant; revealing other areas of her capabilities might be more acceptable. After all, with the record set by her elder sister, she, as the younger sister, could afford to be a bit bolder without causing too much of a stir.

"A very strong opponent indeed, even I would need to put in so effort to defeat him." After pondering briefly, the girl responded.

"Huh?" The two people who had asked were rely making casual conversation without expecting a definitive answer from Tilan, understanding that variables in combat and competitions were too great.

However, to their surprise, Tilan didn't seem to think defeating the opponent was a difficult task.

Having spent considerable ti with the black-haired girl, they knew that given Tilan's modest and cautious nature, she wouldn't speak so confidently without being sure of her ability.

To say that it would take so effort likely ant that victory was all but assured.

"I always feel like Tilan is like a bottomless abyss, forever unknown where your limits lie." Deloris stroked the long hair trailing behind Tilan and tidied up her disheveled hair from sleep.

"Then we shall look forward to Tilan's show of force tomorrow~" The two of them laughed together after saying this.

"It's a pity I don't pay attention to these things. I've heard that there are underground betting rings every year that operate based on the results of the Winter Festival Tournant." Efnie pondered, tapping her chin with her finger.

"There used to be so on a large scale, but after the Federal Court of Judgnt cracked down on them, now they only pop up on a small scale, and ordinary people can't find them."

"Emuralin is especially disdainful of gambling and addictive substances. Influenced by her, the Court of Judgnt has continued its aggressive crackdown for the past few centuries."

"Even lotteries and the like are banned in many Star Domains of the Federation now."

"However, there's now an open and transparent prize ticket system, for example, before this Winter Festival Tournant, residents could buy prize tickets for any academy online. If the academy wins, they can get a set of gifts including a cape with the academy's emblem, a commorative album, and small ornants. If the purchased academy does not win, consolation gifts are still given like a commorative album and the school's Winter Festival greetings."
