"After a sleep, it feels like a lot of ti has passed. Hexia, how old are you now?"

The awakening Ghost Princess erged from the ice, then stepped out, her ice-colored eyes reflecting the image of a young girl.

"? I'm about 17 years old now," Hexia calculated her age seriously. She was right to say so, as the frozen embryonic period surely couldn't be counted as well.

"Still so young? I thought that ten years had passed by now," the Ghost Princess seed not to be encountering this situation for the first ti.

"How could that be? If it were ten years later, I wouldn't look like I do now," the young girl argued.

"That's not necessarily the case," the Ghost Princess teased her again, looking her up and down as if to see whether she had grown taller or her figure had developed.

After catching up for so ti, they finally sat down on an ice block floating island in the lake.

"It seems, Hexia, you've been through a lot in the past half year." The Ghost Princess knelt on the ground with her wide, layered dress spread out on the ground, pouring Hexia a cold drink from an ice pot into an ice cup. Since it was sumr, it was particularly fitting.

Taking the chilly cup, the young girl took a small sip of the refreshing beverage, and then started to recount what had happened during that ti and the situation she was about to face.

"Edith Academy, huh? I'm not very familiar with it, but when you ntion Saint Yingo, that I do recall with so nostalgia," the Ice Spirit Princess's expression held traces of reminiscence.

"Because it was once a surna of the Elf Royal Family, but as the bloodlines died out, fewer and fewer people have used it."

"So, your teacher's surna is Saint Yingo?"

"Are you trying to test ? I'm not going to fall for this little trick," the Ghost Princess waved off.

"Forget it, deliberately avoiding the question is almost an admission. I indeed have a significant connection to the surna Saint Yingo, but that was a long ti ago. Now, in the current era, I'm not sure who still carries on with that na."

"There were once three branches of the Elf Race, with the Silver Elves not having any bloodline succession, and the number of Ice Spirits has always been small, so it is probable that the descendants of the Forest Elves are the ones using it." Her analysis was quickly approaching the truth.

"So, does Little Tilan intend to defeat them?"

"Defeat, perhaps not to that extent, since this isn't a fight to the death. However, given the current situation in Star Domain, defeating them to secure the top spot for the academy is necessary."

"Hmm, that's very clear and rational, you seem to be in good shape so I don't have to worry," the Ghost Princess put the cup down, no longer pressing for Tilan's specific plans and thoughts.

"Uh, actually, there are so things where I do need the teacher's help," the young girl hesitated for a mont before deciding it was best to ask directly for assistance.

"Speak," the Ghost Princess prompted.

"Because there's a competition coming up, I might need to use the Songstress's Talent Ability to lead everyone to victory, but as for how to control this and how the Federation and the outside world rank the Songstress's Talent and Abilities, I'd like to seek your guidance," the girl explained.

"I see, you want to hold back so of your strength, don't you? Actually, it's not that difficult." The Ghost Princess thought for a mont, then raised her finger, lightly drawing in the air. A mysterious branding pattern erged, and once it stabilized, it looked like a sealed and perfect spherical network.

"Self-Sealing Secret Arts, originally developed to deal with Chaos Phantoms, can protect the spirit of life, isolating it from external corruption. But with minor adjustnts, it can also reduce one's external impact sensitivity."

"If you do not fully exert your Soul Resonance ability, with this isolation, you can reduce the outward influence and manifestation."

"The reason I say 'not fully exert' is because Color Level Talent with Soul Resonance is almost on par with sovereign powers and has a superior suppression and Penetrating Force against common Transcendent Secret Arts."

"Is that so?" It was the girl's first ti hearing such an explanation.

"Absolutely. The essence of transcendent power is life using Aijieka Particles as a dium to affect reality through the spirit, achieving certain effects. On a microphysical level, human consciousness, like observation, changes experintal results. If no human observes and only instrunts record, the outco is different."

"That's like giving orders to the soldiers below, but the outco differs according to the status of the one giving the orders,"

"When an ordinary person performs a Transcendent Secret Technique, it's like a captain giving an order—the soldiers will follow. But what if there's a conflicting command at the sa ti?"

"If a general's order conflicts with that of a captain's, then the soldiers will prioritize the general's command and ignore the captain's."

"This is why ancient Witches' powers were so formidable: they could disregard many secret techniques and directly dismantle your defense, unless you possessed a sacred object to resist such suppression with its own authority and power."

"Now, if you have studied ancient history, you would know that Witches and sacred objects are, in essence, fragnts of the Crown, inheriting parts of the Crown's power."

"If the Crown were intact, it would be like a deity, capable of easily performing many miracles, directly denying and ignoring other transcendental abilities, or even revoking them."

"If we were to create a ranking, it would roughly be Crown > Witch = Sacred Object > Fantasy Secret Arts >> Common Transcendent Abilities > Item Enchantnt Effects. Fantasy Secret Arts refer to so specific secret techniques, such as the Seven Chapters of Fairyland, the Fire Sacrifice of the Giant Kings' Court, and so on."

"Fantasy Secret Arts are a rather special and independent existence. Though most are not as powerful as a Witch's power, they can still give Witches a tough ti because these secret techniques cannot be directly dismantled or denied by power. Over the past epochs, many Witches have perished under such secret arts."

"In the era of the Beastn Empire, the Shamans of the ti used the Fire Sacrifice, inherited from the Giant Kings' Court, to burn Witches captured alive to death. During the rcury Dynasty in the Second Epoch, the Seven Chapters of Fairyland also made many Witches wary."

"So, that's how it is," Tilan nodded, but more questions erged in her mind, such as where the Color Level Songstress's power originated from. If it were simply explained by Talent, it wouldn't have powers similar to authority; also, those Fantasy Secret Arts, how could they achieve effects similar to Crown Fragnts? What principle lay behind this?

"Little Tilan is thinking about other things again, aren't you?"

Seeing the girl imrsed in deep thought, the Ghost Princess opposite her was no longer surprised, but she wasn't prepared to continue explaining—for instance, why a Color Level Songstress possessed abilities far surpassing other songstresses, or the origins of the Fantasy Secret Arts.

It was still too early to tell her these things; knowing too much too soon might not be beneficial. However, looking at her engrossed in thought really was quite adorable.

The Ghost Princess was in no hurry. She waited until Tilan thought for a while without conclusion, then she looked up and saw the Ghost Princess's interested expression, knowing that her teacher was teasing her on purpose, deliberately not telling.

"Teacher, you know what I'm thinking, don't you?"

"I guess I have so idea."

"Can you tell the answer?"

"Not yet. I will discuss it with you when Tilan reaches Sequence 7 one day."

"Feels like you're treating like a child," Tilan looked away, knowing she wouldn't get an answer.

"Little Tilan is indeed quite young, hehehe~" Seeing Tilan pouting, the Ghost Princess laughed, a rare occurrence.

As ti leisurely passed on this gently undulating Ice Crafted Floating Island, the Ghost Princess continued to teach her about the secret techniques related to songstresses, how to respond to others' inquiries, and how to better disguise herself, among other things.

Before leaving, this teacher also assigned Tilan a new assessnt task.

"If Tilan only uses the Starshine Level abilities of a songstress and wins this duel, I will teach you three rare Elf Secret Arts, like the Seven Butterfly Incarnation and the Rose Twin Swords that you envied before."

Even though she knew it was bait her teacher dangled in front of her, the girl couldn't resist the temptation; after all, she had suffered greatly at the hands of Temisia's use of these secret techniques.

Though she inherited so of her sister's mories, they weren't complete or detailed. She couldn't replicate those secret techniques and had to combat them with other ans.

It seed she had to work harder this ti.

Nodding slightly, the girl bowed to her teacher in thanks, then waved goodbye and left the secluded pool, returning to the warm sumr breeze of the outside world.
