Three Guardians, clad in white robes, stood closest to the Holy Artifact. They closed their eyes in prayer, and then their bodies gradually ascended from the ground. Pure white magic power extended from their backs, spreading outward to beco sacred wings.

Radiant Feather Sequence 8·Angel Descent Body

Ever since the 'Eternal Covenant of Loranshia' was established, Transcendents of Sequence 9 had beco a rare find in the world, with Sequence 8 being the pinnacle for mortals. According to Lady Isenisha's agreent from years ago, suitable candidates were selected every few years to beco the Guardians of the Holy White lody. These were ascetic hermits who bid farewell to all that was past, their sole mission being to protect this crucial Holy Artifact of human civilization.

This ti, with the migration of the Holy Artifact back to the Federal Center, they naturally accompanied the journey. Though the Envoy was originally not fond of these Guardians, at this mont their presence had beco a reassuring and stabilizing force for everyone present.

When the three top-rank Guardians began to float, their magic power and auras lded together with the central white Holy Artifact galith, emitting a faint halo. Then, divine ripples spread in all directions. These ripples, unhindered by material barriers, were like tender waves of water, continually washing over and expanding, gradually flooding the entire Starship.

It seed as if so attribute of the Holy Artifact was harnessed. Wherever these pale ripples spread, Aijieka Particles tended to stabilize and beca difficult to manipulate by ntal will. As a result, many supernatural abilities failed. In the battle, this ant that many Phantom-Eyed Race intruders lost their ability to blink through space.

Battle once again unfolded within the Starship, but this ti it was significantly easier to handle. Without the elusive ability to shift space, the Phantom-Eyed Race intruders inside the Starship were like butterflies caught in a cage, crushed and annihilated by the relentlessly incoming defensive forces.

Two hours later, the interior of the Starship was tidied up and cleaned, and calm returned once more.

[Combat status lifted, all crew mbers please return to your posts. The Starship is about to resu superluminal travel status]

Hearing this announcent, those who experienced the battle firsthand finally sighed in relief.

"Scared to death. When I finally ca out of the hiding storage room, I saw the dining hall full of bodies, so of whom were the people I just ate with." A crew mber, still shaken, patted his chest as if to confirm he was still alive.

"If I had been hiding over there, I might have died too."

"So terrifying, are these the remnants of the newborn races of the Fifth Epoch? So brutal."

"It seems so. I heard the wars of that era were exceptionally brutal."

The remaining few supported each other as they left the blood-stained dining hall, planning to take a good break after returning to ease the fright they suffered this ti.

During the subsequent journey, the fleet encountered no further attacks or assaults, safely reaching the Central Star Domain.

"Seems like the remnants of the newborn races from the Fifth Epoch have little power left," a Golden Fla Flower Temple Priest remarked accompanying the journey.

"They can't possibly have large-scale habitable planets or space stations. They can only hide like rats in so corner. To launch this attack, they must have expended all their efforts."

"We owe our thanks to Lady Isenisha for driving away these disgusting races."

With the passengers' excited emotions, the Starship slowly sailed into Star Harbor and then docked.

Everyone began to relax gradually. However, in a corner of the Starship, a surviving passenger from the battle opened his eyes in confusion. He felt his lacerated chest, now bandaged, though his mind was still groggy. As he was about to lie down and rest a bit longer, an enchanting voice resounded in his mind.

'Get off the bed and go take a look.'

This voice seed to possess magic power, making it irresistible. So he gradually stood up from the bed, changed into his crew uniform, and walked out of the infirmary.

"Leaving so soon? Although your injury isn't serious, it's still best to rest a bit more," the on-duty doctor kindly reminded him.

"No problem, I'm tired of lying down and want to get so fresh air. We're docked by now, right?" the man responded.

"We're docked, but inspection and handover will still take so ti." The doctor glanced at this injured logistics crew mber and then checked off his discharge application.

[Fifth Fleet 776th Squad, H67 Ship, Logistics Departnt Food Supply Administrator, Jieao]

[Status: Minor Injury → Healed, Allowed to Depart]

Seeing the green icon on his terminal indicating permission to leave, Jieao nodded to the doctor and then walked out of the dical observation room.

At the mont, the Starship was still in the port inspection phase, where the ship's AI and Star Harbor's main control AI exchanged information, allowing the latter to conduct comprehensive scans inside the Starship and deploy Autonomous Units for key area inspections.

For ordinary crew mbers, this was a rather boring rest period. Occasionally, people gathered in the corridors to chat, discussing the unexpected battle they recently encountered.

"Were those Phantom-Eyed Race all won? Although brutal, they were quite attractive."

"Heh, look at you forgetting the pain after the wound heals. Now that it's not dangerous anymore, you're interested in the pretty exotics."

"The genetics of the newborn races have been ticulously screened and edited. Any that didn't et standards were completely eliminated, so of course, they're more attractive than average people," explained a crew mber with so scholarly background.

"But it's indeed surprising to still see the Phantom-Eyed Race. Their Black Sun had already fallen in the mid-Fifth Epoch."
