"Lord Tilan, soone wants to see you."

Under the soft gray-blue background wall, the girl was sitting with her knees up on a high-backed chair, lost in thought. She ca to her senses upon hearing the voice from the communication device on the table.

"The other party claims to co from Saint Carthanas, with credentials from the cult."

"I understand, let him co in."

After a few minutes, the door of her office slid open, and two mbers dressed in white with silver-winged cloaks entered with a man in a dark blue robe.

He looked about 40 years old, with a mature appearance, his robe seemingly dyed with traditional craftsmanship, the fabric simple yet durable. His strength was around Sequence 7, a master figure in a faction.

"Hello." Since he was a guest, the girl didn’t put on airs. She gracefully stepped off the chair, leading him to a nearby sofa. The two sat facing each other, while the two guards who had entered stood by the girl’s side.

"Honorable Miss Hexia, hello." The other party first placed his hand on his chest in salute, then looked up, his gaze carrying a hint of curiosity as he observed the girl.

Among the songstresses, Tilan was the type who didn’t stand out at first glance, but her temperant was exceptionally distant and mysterious. She rarely wore exaggerated and elaborate outfits and didn’t frequently appear on social dia. It could be understood that she simply liked peace and was not so flamboyant.

"I co from the Holy Domain of Saint Carthanas, entrusted by the cult, specifically to visit you." He directly stated his purpose.

"It’s been nearly ten years since your last visit to Saint Carthanas, and many in the cult miss you greatly."

Miss her? Tilan recalled that brief period, seemingly having little deep connection with anyone except the Saintess of the Water. But since he put it that way, there was no need to pick at it; it was probably just a courtesy.

"During that ti, I did indeed receive much guidance and gained much secret knowledge in Saint Carthanas." Tilan replied, her head slightly tilted, curious about what he would say next. Surely he wasn’t here to ask for funding, though she was indeed quite wealthy now, with more funds than she could count.

Seeing Tilan’s acknowledgnt and not a cold refusal, the other party was slightly relieved and continued.

"Now, as the birth anniversary of the great Prival Angel approaches, Saint Carthanas is also preparing to hold a grand ceremony to celebrate, and thus wishes to invite you to participate."

So that’s what it was, she thought it was sothing major.

"I understand, but I’m not sure if I can find the ti to attend right now. Please report the specific process and timing to my assistance team. If ti permits, I will pay a visit."

"Thank you, Miss Hexia." The other didn’t continue to persuade, which sowhat surprised Tilan.

"Actually, during this visit, I also received an entrustnt from Lord Feruceline to deliver a letter to you." Saying this, he carefully took out a box from the inner layer of his robe.

Opening the quaintly shaped box, inside appeared a pearl with a silver-blue luster, surrounded by a faint halo of water mist.

Even without looking at the attributes of the letter, just from the quality and appearance of the pearl, it was a rare treasure, likely a T2 grade high-end jewel, worth over a million on the market.

Seeing the opened box and the pearl within it, Tilan hesitated slightly before nodding to accept it.

Feruceline must have a serious matter, not re girl-to-girl chatter, to reach the point of specifically seeking her. So, when Tilan saw that pearl, she was sowhat reluctant to accept it. Recently, she had finally been able to relax, idling here, sotis taking a nap on the sofa. She really didn’t want to get involved in the current complex situation of the Federation.

"I understand, I’ll look into it later." It appeared inviting her to the ceremony was a cover, delivering this letter was the real task.

"I haven’t asked your na yet. Since you’ve co to the Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain, why not stay and tour for a few days?" Tilan turned to invite after accepting the pearl.

"My na is Omis, a priest of the Water Sanctuary. It is my honor to et Miss Hexia." He accepted.

"Please help Mr. Omis arrange a place to stay." Tilan looked up, instructing the guards beside her.

"Yes."

Then the three left, and the room returned to silence once more.

At this mont, Tilan again took out the pearl she had just received, examined the water-mist circle emitted from it, then closed her eyes and focused, extending her perception inward.

Fog, heavy water mist, blue vortex mist, this was Tilan’s first impression as her consciousness subrged into the pearl. Others might be confused by the mist, losing direction and endlessly circling within the labyrinthine vortex mist, but as a songstress or witch with special authority, her ntal will was as clear as crystal, undisturbed, descending straight to the bottom of the vortex.

Passing through the thick, dark vortex, a slightly shimring light called out from the front, her consciousness rushing toward it, then it seed she heard the sound of sothing shattering.

Strange halos and water mist spread across the room, enveloping Tilan. The water mist made the girl sitting within appear as if she had entered another world, a world entirely covered by water, where sky and water t in the distance. In this purest water-heaven world, a red-haired woman stood waiting.

She had long, fla-like red hair, wore an antique white long dress, held a golden tin staff in her hand, and stood in the water, like a quietly blooming red lotus.
