The wind still blows past my ears, the evening sky is sowhat serene and pleasant, and if you don't look down, it might be a beautiful sunset.

Descending gently from high above, toes land on the soft sandy soil, the flowing dress gradually cos to a halt as well; Tilan takes a few steps, scanning the scattered fragnts and debris before her, searching for the sowhat intact remains of chanical bodies.

Soon, her footsteps stop in front of a fragnt half-buried in the sand; she cautiously reaches out with her fingers, extracting a small mory chip from within and then storing it away.

Afterwards, she circles around and, not finding anything additional, takes flight again to survey this land near the jungle.

At night, the dark-haired girl returns to her mansion, handing the chip to Loloria.

"I found this on the attacking chanical body; can you obtain so information from it?" She places the chip into Loloria's palm.

"Let give it a try." Loloria presses the chip into the slot on her wrist and quickly begins to crack and read it.

For a high-rank "Artificial Angel" like her, ordinary chanical bodies are like crude building blocks, with not many secrets.

After a while, Loloria finishes reading and ejects the chip.

"The cluster on the other side is making further advances; today's batch was just the vanguard." Loloria seems sowhat worried.

"So that ans the numbers will keep increasing, right?" Tilan taps the ground lightly with her toes, shaking off the dust clinging to the soles of her shoes, before walking into the courtyard.

"Exactly, the numbers will only keep increasing; they don't seem to be waiting for the ground forces to clear the jungle."

"The speed has increased again." Tilan mutters softly.

"If we destroy one of the floating mother ships, can we slow their advance?"

"In the short term, yes, but it might provoke the remaining mother ships, inciting a fiercer offensive."

"So right now, we can only keep stalling for ti." Tilan turns around, glancing at the streetlights and the lights in the hos behind her on the main street, feeling a bit reluctant in her heart.

Finally having established a town here, allowing everyone to live peacefully, she doesn't want to abandon it so soon and hide away in the deep mountains and underground.

After one night.

The next day, Tilan begins to arrange the relocation, and at noon, the town receives another alert of nurous chanical bodies appearing in the southern sky.

"Carry out the arrangents as I instructed; I'll step out for a bit." Tilan leaves the eting.

Flying towards the apex of the sky, she locates the direction and speeds forward again, reaching the settlent that issued the alert.

She once again utilizes the inherited secret technique, summoning the shimring silver Holy Sword. The girl grips the sword hilt, then sweeps the entire airspace, using the lightning-fast sword light to slash apart the fiery tallic locusts in the air.

Yet, even after exterminating here, the issue isn't resolved; other places also emit urgent signals in succession, forcing her to speed up, and rush into the heavens again.

Six hours later, as the sun sets in the west, on the hill illuminated by the evening glow, the Holy Sword embedded in the ground stretches its shadow in the sunset; all around lies scorched earth, with so dark red shattered iron and exposed electronic components still remaining, and the cool evening breeze scatters the burnt sll in the air.

Beside the Holy Sword, the slender girl sits down sowhat fatigued. Although she possesses extraordinary talent, such high-intensity combat makes her feel a bit weary.

Leaning against the sword, she gazes at the distant sunset, her fingers gently smoothing the strands of hair curled by sweat beside her ears, slightly parted lips, and takes deep breaths.

After several minutes of this, Tilan regains so strength and barely stands up.

The evening breeze blows, drying the sweat on her forehead and beside her ears gradually, and her breathing becos much calr and serene.

Another slight notification sound rings out from the headset clip on her collar, indicating the location she needs to go.

Is there more, these chanical bodies are indeed nurous. She understands why the chanical Sun·Soft once faced four alone, and several Black Suns fought so arduously.

These guys reproduce and replicate at an astonishing speed.

Drawing the broad Holy Sword of equal height, Tilan kicks off with her foot, leaping into the air once more, transforming into a teor and disappearing into the night sky.

At night, the ground troops raise torches, forming a long line on the earth, heading towards the north; here gather many settlers from within the Chasing Star Covenant, relocating under guidance and arrangent in the cover of night.

Compared to the dayti, the chanical bodies are much less active at night; although they possess night-imaging observation capabilities, they aren't as keen compared to the dayti. Considering efficiency and cost-performance, low-rank chanical bodies aren't equipped with the best components, which makes the chanical clusters prefer dayti activities unless encountering special circumstances.

Sitting atop the high hill, Tilan presses her fingers against her leg to relieve the soreness, watching the group below leave.

Today is for the weaker settlent mbers, tomorrow for the surrounding camp residents, the day after that for the Redstone City residents, and finally the combat personnel staying behind; in about 7 days, the residents on this prairie can move completely into the relatively safe mountain areas, where the terrain is perilous and can also use the geographical features to block the large-scale assaults of the chanical cluster.

After bathing, the girl soaks in hot water for a while, finally manages to take a rare rest at night.

On the third morning, she receives signals of the chanical cluster appearing again.

Quickly changing her outfit, the girl once again steps onto the path of firefighting everywhere.

Holy Sword, transformation, offensive, sweep, relocation, and then handling the swarming chanical bodies flying before her once more.
