’Sixth Era, July 21, 1258, Condensed Writing—Hexia Tilan’

Doesn’t this feel like writing history? The girl thought inexplicably, then put away the book.

After tidying up the disordered archives room, it was getting late, and the girl left the place.

The data arrangent had temporarily co to a halt, and she had been imrsed in the book pages for several days and was sowhat tired of it. Today, she wanted to take a stroll.

Walking in the sunset on the Four Holy Sanctuaries square, it remained solemn here, with worshippers coming and going in an endless stream. After watching the majestic exterior of the cathedral from a distance for a while, Tilan turned and walked in another direction.

Passing through the enclosed high walls, Tilan arrived at the Divine Prohibited Knight Order’s base, where she also saw several mbers of the Star Cluster.

Why are they here? Curious, the girl walked over.

Not far away, Bennett and a few others were exchanging ideas with the Divine Prohibited Knights at the training ground, sotis holding a sword to demonstrate.

"So that’s how swordsmanship developed over the years; it’s really interesting." After listening, Bennett grasped the sword with both hands, stepping forward and swinging to slash and spin.

"Are you exchanging swordsmanship?" The girl spoke as she approached, startling a few mbers.

"Are you that afraid of ?" The girl tilted her head.

"Cough, of course not, it’s just..." Bennett originally wanted to find an excuse, but then thought lying might be more easily discovered by this girl, so he could only reluctantly speak directly.

"It’s just that we got a little bored with reading books and wanted to find soone to practice swordsmanship with, exchange, and learn. Yes, it’s to improve the team’s strength through exchange and learning." He found a suitable reason.

"Alright." Tilan could see that these guys were slacking off, but she didn’t bla them. After all, a week of continuous research was indeed quite tedious, and even she wanted to take a stroll.

"So, how did your exchange go?" Tilan was also curious about the swordsmanship of these Divine Prohibited Knights. In her vague mory, Temisia seed to have learned to fight with a lance like them, but she didn’t know much about swordsmanship.

"Very rewarding. The techniques used here by the seniors are more inclined towards the Third Era’s heritage, focusing on dealing with giant beasts and cold weapon battlefields. Unlike now, where most are against fewer enemies, the swordsmanship is more expansive and powerful."

"I see." Tilan, being one of the few geniuses in the field of swordsmanship, understood the general situation just from their words.

Although the moves of these Divine Prohibited Knights were powerful, they were not suitable for the current era. Nowadays, with firearms having overflowing power, no matter what combat profession, one would enhance speed so as to dodge over 90% of bullet shots. Modern swordsmanship is more direct, tight, and flexible to adapt to various complex environnts. In ancient cold weapon eras, battlefields were open-air, and urban battles were rare.

After the exchange, it was ti for sparring. First, Bennett and several Divine Prohibited Knights faced each other. After several intense battles, one of the Divine Prohibited Knights invited Tilan for a bout.

"Based on the previous analysis, this young lady is very strong, and I would like to have a look." The other party, in full dark gold armor, spoke in a muffled voice, the words slightly thick.

"Hahaha, brother, let tell you, our Tilan is incredibly strong; don’t be fooled by her gentle appearance. In a fight, none of us can match her." Bennett laughed as he patted the other’s shoulder armor.

After agreeing, Tilan surprisingly did not use her sword as usual but looked around the training field, then tried picking up a hamr.

It was a two-handed hamr with a square head, the edges cut at a 45° angle. The hamrhead weighed about ten pounds, and holding the long handle horizontally required one hand close to the hamrhead for balance.

Under the amazed eyes of several mbers, Tilan initially clumsily swung the hamr but gradually familiarized herself with its performance. It’s undeniable that this girl, wearing a long dress and a bow, holding a hamr, indeed had a sowhat incongruous appearance.

"Let’s start."

Since it was a friendly match, neither side used any special transcendental abilities, but stood on the grass to fight, one using a greatsword, the other a hamr.

At the start, because Tilan was unfamiliar, she could barely block and occasionally had to rely on the hamr’s weight for aerial twists to dodge. Eventually, after gradually discerning the opponent’s swordsmanship patterns, she started to counterattack.

One hamr, with a clang, struck the sword edge, bringing up a tallic resonance.

Two hamrs, in the girl’s hand, the hamr seed to beco a dance light stick, rotating around her palm, then easily swung out, knocking away the knight’s greatsword.

Three hamrs, the flipping hamr flew out, caught up with the retreating knight, struck the opponent’s chest, causing further imbalance, making him sit down heavily on the ground.

Indeed, the hamr is still not very easy to use; its weight and inertia are large, lacking agility, and the absence of a sharp edge limits its attacking thods.

In the subsequent ti, Tilan also tried using other weapons she rarely used before, like the great axe, longsword, long lance, etc.

Finally, she concluded that she was indeed best with the sword, followed by the scythe or crescent blade, then the spear sword, and halberd.

Perhaps the days Temisia was out changed her, making her think through so things, and begin actively trying things she rarely did before.

Well, it is indeed quite interesting, and it feels good.
