Huo Yao turned her head to see the expressions on Wu Yue's and her senior brothers' faces as she spoke to Huo Changfeng. "Senior Brothers? Mr. Wu?"

After snapping out of their daze, their expressions remained conflicted, especially Li Chenhui.

Her family owned cars worth hundreds of millions. She definitely was not poor.

It was a real assault on their perspective of life.

"Ahem ahem. Let's get into the car." Wu Yue kicked Li Chenhui in the leg and gestured for him to stop dreaming.

Li Chenhui hesitated briefly before getting into the car.

They had to ask Prof Rong about this clearly when they got back. Perhaps Prof Rong did not understand what it ant to be poor.

After all, Prof Rong was the one who kept saying that she was poor.

Huo Yao raised her brow and glanced at the car. She had an inkling of the reason for the strange expressions on their faces.

She did not expect Huo Changfeng to show up and do this.

Huo Yao waited for them to get into the car before she raised her hand and checked the ti.

That was strange. She thought he ntioned that he was here already.

However, he was nowhere to be seen.

Huo Changfeng walked around the car and noticed Huo Yao did not get into the car. Instead, she kept looking at the airport entrance. He paused and walked over and asked with a straight face. "Why aren't you getting into the car?"

Huo Yao did not veer her eyes. "My friend is here to pick up at the airport as well, but I don't see him."

Huo Changfeng smiled genially. "Why don't you call your friend to check? He can join us for dinner if you like."

"Sounds good." Huo Yao nodded and took out her phone to make a call.

"Uh huh."

Huo Changfeng stood by the side with his hands behind him as he touched the wooden bead bracelet on his wrist.

Before long, Huo Yao put down her phone with a puzzled look on her face. For so reason, she could not get through on the phone.

"What's the matter?" asked Huo Changfeng in concern.

Huo Yao held her phone and tried again, but to no avail. "I can't get through to him on the phone."

"Maybe he has a bad signal. Perhaps he was held up by sothing. How about this? Why don't you go ahead with your teacher and friends and eat first? I'll get my n to wait at the airport. This is a safe area, so I'm sure everything is fine," explained Huo Changfeng.

Huo Yao turned around to look at her senior brothers as they sat uneasily in the car. Considering Min Yu's status, she was unworried that sothing might happen to him. She eventually said, "Sounds good. Thanks, Uncle Changfeng."

Huo Changfeng replied. "You're welco."

Before long, the car engine started and they left the airport.

anwhile, at the airport café.

Min Yu checked the watch on his wrist. It was already past 6:30 pm. His phone was right beside him. From the mont he entered the café, there was no signal.

The subordinate keeping an eye on Min Yu ca back after making a call. "Young Master Min, you may leave. My boss has sothing to attend to, so he can't co. He said he'll call and make plans so other ti."

Min Yu tapped the table gently with his fingers. He had been sitting here for nearly an hour, but there was not the slightest anger on his face. Instead, he took the cup and had a sip of the coffee.

A short while later, he said unhurriedly, "I'm in no hurry, so I can wait."

Huo Changfeng's subordinate could sense his cheek twitching. "My boss has already left."

"It's okay. I'm sure your boss will co back soon." Min Yu spoke softly.

Sothing dawned on Huo Changfeng's subordinate. Even though it seed easy to get Min Yu to co over and he seed patient, they were not as much in control as they thought.

Huo Changfeng's subordinate tried to talk to Min Yu again, but he refused to budge. His subordinate had no choice but to call his boss and explain the situation.
