1554 The CEO
The man was shockingly the CEO of DO Corporation!
Liu Qian swallowed his saliva nervously. He was the CEO of the company, but he did not demand an apology and even volunteered to communicate directly with him. The turn of events felt incredible to him and he could not believe his eyes!
After Qi Hui looked at the na card from the side, he was even more shocked than Liu Qian.
Mr. Wei had previously ntioned that Mr. ng must be a very important man, but he did not expect him to be the CEO of the company.
He could not wrap his mind around it. Why would the CEO suddenly take such a keen interest in the database?
Qi Hui had a nagging feeling that he was missing sothing.
A knocking could be heard on the door.
The door was already open, so everyone raised their heads and looked over the mont they heard the knocking.
A tall, slender woman could be seen standing at the door. She had a very special aura.
J’s eyes instantly lit up when he saw the young woman. If not for the people present, he might have run over to welco his ‘daddy’ and given her a bear hug.
Liu Qian snapped out of his thoughts and waved at Huo Yao. “Co on in, Huo Yao.”
If the people from DO Corporation were not present, he would have told Huo Yao to leave first. Liu Qian could not help looking at J. He noticed that the man seed a little too excited after looking at the door.
His reaction was very unusual. It felt as though he had t an old friend.
Liu Qian felt puzzled inside.
Huo Yao walked in without looking at J even though he was staring at her intently. She simply nodded to Liu Qian and greeted him. “Did you want to see ?”
Liu Qian glanced at Qi Hui and suddenly found a new sense of confidence. He said, “Mr. ng is here to talk about the project.”
Qi Hui’s face flushed crimson in embarrassnt. Even though Liu Qian did not ntion telling her to apologize to Mr. ng, he still felt ashad.
Huo Yao acknowledged softly, looking very relaxed. It seed as though she already foresaw this. “Why don’t you go ahead and handle it?”
Huo Yao seed completely disinterested and he was worried Mr. ng might get upset. He cleared his throat and said, “You were in charge of making the database, so Mr. ng would like to speak to you.”
Huo Yao finally looked up at J. “What would you like to discuss?”
When J made eye contact with Huo Yao, he could sense an imposing aura coming from her, despite her young age.
His papa was angry.
J smiled sheepishly. “Your call.”
Huo Yao went quiet.
The atmosphere and their exchange felt very strange.
Huo Yao would rather not waste ti talking to idiots, so she cut to the chase and said, “Did you bring the contract?”
J turned and looked at Jie Xi standing behind him.
Jie Xi kept observing Huo Yao. The mont J looked over, he opened his briefcase and took out a contract.
J took the docunt from him. After flipping through it briefly, he handed it to Huo Yao. “Take a look at it. If you have any problems, I’m happy to revise it.”
Huo Yao nodded. She flipped through the contract quickly and got to the last page in less than a minute. When she got to the last page, she raised her head and remarked. “This isn’t enough money.”
“Shall I double it?” J almost instantly responded.
Huo Yao sighed inwardly. He was undoubtedly rich. She handed the contract to Liu Qian. “Is this okay?”
Liu Qian looked at Huo Yao in surprise as he took the contract from her. He did not understand what was going on. Nothing was discussed yet, but they had already reached the stage of signing the contract.
He lowered his head and flipped through the contract. When he got to the line ntioning the paynt, he was stunned.
