In an estate located in a small town in Country M.
Fan Shun had just returned to the estate not long ago. He sat in front of the computer and checked his email. Shortly after he tapped on the mail from Yuan Huan, soone knocked at the door.
He paused and raised his head to glance at the door and said, “Enter.”
His assistant entered through the door. “Mr. Fan, sothing happened.”
!!
Fan Shun had extrely well-defined features and deep blue eyes. Despite what the assistant said, he remained relaxed and there was hardly any change in his expression.
“Speak,” replied Fan Shun mildly as he turned to look at the computer screen.
As he waited for the assistant to speak, he clicked on Yuan Huan’s email. It was sent roughly an hour ago.
The assistant took out the phone, swiped down to a post online for a mission with Cheetah’s na on it, and handed it to Fan Shun. “You wanted to keep an eye on Cheetah. I have sothing to report. Judging from this post, he probably got sabotaged and I doubt he’s alive now.”
This news finally got Fan Shun’s attention. He put down the mouse and took the phone from his assistant. After looking at it, he pursed his lips. “Isn’t he the fifth best rcenary in the world? Why is he so weak?”
The assistant went quiet briefly before he said in an uneasy tone, “Perhaps he genuinely didn’t see it coming.”
Fan Shun scoffed and responded. “He’s just stupid. Why are you making excuses for him?”
The assistant lowered his head without daring to speak.
Fan Shun threw the phone onto the table. Anyone with eyes could tell he was angry.
The assistant felt increasingly worried. Even though Fan Shun had the features of a kind man, he was very temperantal.
Fan Shun rubbed his brow without saying a word. After so ti, he waved at his assistant and gestured for him to leave. He turned his attention to the computer and continued looking at the email from Yuan Huan.
To be precise, Yuan Huan did not personally write the email. He had installed a backup program on the test apparatus, so it could create an extra copy of each test once the option was selected and automatically send it to Fan Shun’s email address.
All these years, Yuan Huan rarely opted for a copy of a file to be created. Fan Shun simply clicked on each photo attachnt from Yuan Huan.
After looking at all three photo attachnts, a look of anticipation suddenly appeared on Fan Shun’s face even though he tended to be nonchalant.
He stopped his assistant. “Hang on.”
The assistant froze briefly before turning to look at Fan Shun cautiously. “Yes, Mr. Fan?”
Fan Shun continued looking at the computer screen without so much as raising his head. “Go to the basent and fetch the laptop.”
The assistant did not know why his boss needed the laptop, but he hurriedly nodded and went to the basent.
After the assistant had left, Fan Shun took out his phone, swiped down to Yuan Huan’s phone number, and called him imdiately.
Fan Shun tried a few tis but to no avail, so he could only give up.
Before long, the assistant ca back with the laptop.
Fan Shun turned on the laptop and opened an encrypted folder containing 10 years of research archives. It contained over 10 000 files about brain power research.
He tapped on the file containing the records of the subject with the highest brain power. The subject had 43% brain power according to the records.
Based on the third photo from Yuan Huan, the subject’s brain power had already exceeded 60%.
This was simply incredible.
A subject with a high IQ did not necessarily have a matching level of brain power. Instead, the reverse was true. Soone with high brain power would undoubtedly have an extrely high IQ.
Fan Shun pondered deeply. He wondered what kind of person could possess such phenonal brain power.
