Zhuo Yun had just dropped Old Mr. Pei at the Pei residence.
“Why don’t you co in and have a bite before going back?” asked Old Mr. Pei without getting out of the car imdiately.

Zhuo Yun veered his eyes after Old Mr. Pei had entered the residence. He looked at his phone and replied to Huo Yao’s text ssage: [Are you saying this might be Shangguan Yu?]
Perhaps Huo Yao did not have her phone with her, so she did not reply imdiately. Zhuo Yun could only suppress his curiosity, started the car, and drove off.

If Old Mr. Pei had told Pei Rong that Min Yu was seriously ill, Pei Rong might stop to wonder if it were true. Since his father looked like he was hiding sothing from him, sothing serious must have happened to Min Yu.
