"Ren Han of the Fairy Palace, abiding by the stellar decrees, slay all Demons and Monsters."
Tall, handso, hair like snow.
Clad in a dark coat and alloy black boots, with an axe at his waist and a Wooden Shield on his left, he stood as straight as a sword. His casual words seed to stir the Spiritual Energy.
Ren Han, the Sixth Patriarch.
After a polite greeting, Ren Han also turned to look at Ren Zuo beside him. The two exchanged glances silently. Ren Han revealed a hint of gentleness in his smile, while Ren Zuo remained expressionless.
The two of them stared silently at each other for several seconds until a burst of Radiance flashed in everyone's eyes, followed by an exclamation, "Han!"
Ren Han smiled and said, "Wang Shu."
A Fairy dressed in a flowing celestial robe approached on a beam of light, hurling herself directly into Ren Han's arms. Ren Han glanced at the Supre Supre, who nodded. "Before you enter the battlefield, do as you please."
After Ren Han and Wang Shu moved aside for a private conversation, the Supre Supre looked towards Ren Zuo. "Nothing to say?"
"I had a lot to say, but upon seeing him, it felt unnecessary," Ren Zuo replied. "He has already told everything."
Ren Zuo's feelings towards Ren Han were undoubtedly complicated. Not only because Ren Han was an ancestor, but more importantly, Ren Han was his only blood relative in this world.
Only Ren Han could possibly understand his Fear, his pain, his pride, and his helplessness. No one else was worthy of hearing his complaints—not You Jiu, not Cha Xian'er, not even his own parents. Only Ren Han, who had suffered similarly, tornted by such Fears and still alive, could do so. That was why Ren Zuo pursued the trace of Ren Han under the guise of seeking the Fairy Palace.
But when their eyes t, Ren Zuo understood that Ren Han could fully comprehend him.
Just knowing this was enough.
I am not alone.
As for consoling words, encouragents, or apologies—Ren Han said none, and Ren Zuo needed none.
The Rens... they don't need such pretentious things.
Ren Zuo asked, "Is he Ren Han from the year 2049?"
The Supre Supre nodded. "He hasn't changed much."
Ren Zuo asked, "Is he resurrected now? Or is it..."
The Supre Supre shook his head. "These special personnel do not exist in the 1999 tiline. It was at a great cost that I projected them from 2049 to 1999 to assist in the battle."
"I've always wanted to ask, why could Ren Han be resurrected?" Ren Zuo inquired. "Is there sothing different about him?"
The Supre Supre fell silent for a mont, then opened his right hand to display the Jade Pendant in his palm.
"The Goddess Jade Pendant," the Supre Supre stated calmly. "Ren Han is the grandson of Ren Yingying. Ren Yingying was once reborn due to Mi Fei and the Goddess Luo, inheriting the Goddess Luo's bloodline. Through the rits of six generations, Ren Han guided the Shu Han Heroic Spirits to salvation, earning imnse virtue that guarded his soul. Though his body perished, his soul fused with the Goddess Jade Pendant, only to awaken once more when the Spiritual Energy returned, continuing the family's Inheritance."
Ren Zuo murmured, "To advance 'Over My Dead Body'... So, am I actually about the sa age as Ren Han?"
Ren Han must have been twenty-three when he died, resurrecting only in the past two years, making him just about a year older than Ren Zuo. Although separated by many generations, they were indeed peers.
Suddenly, the Supre Supre chuckled lightly. "This kind of relationship between you two is very suitable as material for a special kind of plot."
Ren Zuo was montarily startled, then thought of two key phrases: Elder Attack, Younger Receptive. His face darkened as he asked, "What material?"
The Supre Supre said, "Well, isn't it a good selling point for an ancestor and descendant to Fight Side by Side? But since Ren Han is skilled in defense and you excel at Attack, wouldn't it be 'Ancestor Defends, Descendant Attacks'?"
Ren Zuo suspected the Supre Supre was teasing him, but he had no evidence.
At this point, Ren Zuo grew more convinced that the Supre Supre was soone he knew, or at the very least, he would definitely get to know him in the future. Only with soone familiar could the conversation flow so freely and lightheartedly.
He changed the subject. "Hasn't it started yet?"
The Supre Supre replied indifferently, "Eager for battle? There will be eleven continuous hours of intense warfare; your desire will soon be t."
"We're still in the preparation phase. However, it's ti to reveal the first trump card..."
Then, the Supre Supre placed an orange, Fiery Fla chess piece on the board. A dragon-shaped aura illuminated the cosmos, outshining the sun and the moon, as a heroic voice thundered through the universe:
"Head of the Remnant Soldiers, co seeking death!"
Ren Zuo was slightly taken aback. "...Zhao Huo has mories of the future?"
The Supre Supre explained, "He possesses the experience of future battles, combat Wisdom, and so fragnts of the future. What, do you want to ask your future self? Ask ; I know your future."
Though his intention was instantly seen through, Ren Zuo thought for a mont and then asked, "I want to know... who is my future partner?"
Human or demon? Do they have nine tails? Or... do I not have a partner at all?
However, the Supre Supre's imdiate response was beyond his expectations: "You Jiu."
"Huh!?" Ren Zuo exclaid in surprise. "Really? Isn't You Jiu pursuing the Disaster Girl?"
"Oh? Are you talking about that kind of formal partner?" the Supre Supre said indifferently. "I won't say."
"Partners can be formal and informal?" Ren Zuo twitched the corner of his mouth. "So what kind of partner is You Jiu to ?"
The Supre Supre shook his head. "Even if I answered you, you would have that mory erased once you return. If you get distracted by wild thoughts on the battlefield, the Milky Way Galaxy will be the one to suffer, and you cannot afford to undermine the determination you just made with a half-hearted state of mind. Considering the bigger picture, I have decided it's better not to answer you."
The Supre Supre spoke logically.
But couldn't you have said that from the start?!
You suddenly ntion You Jiu, and my heart is already in such a flurry I want to twist this distorted Destiny!
At that mont, the Supre Supre suddenly said, "Quiet."
A female chess piece engulfed in golden Fiery Flas erged in his palm, followed by an outburst of Spiritual Energy fluctuations that terrified Ren Zuo.
A lodious voice ensued, "Seeker of the Immortal Palace, by the higher mandate of the void, provide Spell Support."
A lavishly dressed, barefoot woman with anklets, her golden hair framing a stunningly beautiful face devoid of makeup, softly landed on the Spiritual Energy Ground, causing a ripple with her step.
A Truth Seeker!
Like Ren Han, thirty years had not left a single trace on the Truth Seeker; instead, they had only added to her charm. Her appearance exuded Affinity and Beauty, naturally engendering likability. She completely concealed her presence, and Ren Zuo could not feel a trace of her Cultivation, yet the sense of Fear in his heart did not diminish. Along with Fear, respect was born—he knew that the woman before him had reached a level higher than he could ever imagine!
"Wow, two Benevolent Kings," the Truth Seeker said with a slight smile. "One of them is the Benevolent King from thirty years ago... Would you like to reveal a bit of your future?"
Ren Zuo imdiately said, "Yes!"
"I can't do that," the Truth Seeker said, wagging her finger. "Even if I told you about the future, would you believe it?"
"If I described a future you were unwilling to accept, would you still accept it?"
"You clearly have your own blueprint for the future, so strive to achieve it. Even if we are not lying, what seems like a loss may not be the definitive truth. We can only describe your life from our own perspective, but the joys and sorrows within—only you will truly understand."
The Truth Seeker's voice was like a Key, effortlessly unlocking all the Knots in Ren Zuo's heart. He nodded in sudden realization. "Thank you."
With a charming smile, the Truth Seeker added, "By the way, when it cos to what the Supre Supre says, it's best not to believe a single punctuation mark."
Ren Zuo looked at the Supre Supre with a strange expression. The Supre Supre said lightly, "This conversation will be cut, and you will not rember it once you return."
A chess piece engulfed in silver Fiery Flas now appeared in the Supre Supre's palm, and a silver Radiance suddenly glead inside the Immortal Source Protective Shield.
In the blink of an eye, a girl in a white robe appeared before everyone.
Ethereal, silent, untouchable, and unapproachable.
She softly said, "Moon Chanter, heed the Prayer of the Moon, bestow the blessing of Miracles."
The Moon God, the Moon Chanter!
And this wasn't the Moon Chanter from 2019, still assimilating Divine Power, but the True God who had fully assimilated Divine Power thirty years later!
The Moon Chanter glanced at Ren Zuo, and he felt as if he had turned transparent, seen through with a single look. However, the Moon Chanter did not engage in idle chat but silently stood aside, gazing at the distant stars.
The Truth Seeker, however, sidled up and draped an arm over the Moon Chanter's shoulder, whispering to her. The Moon Chanter neither rejected nor reciprocated, rely listening quietly as the Truth Seeker spoke.
Ren Zuo pricked his ears and cast an Eavesdropping Spell to listen in, but the next mont, his ears were pierced by a sound like fingernails scratching a blackboard, a jarring noise that sent shivers down his spine and made his whole body numb.
The Supre Supre said, "First warning. The second ti, your eardrums will burst. The third ti, your head will explode. Don't say I didn't warn you."
"How did you know?" asked Ren Zuo.
The Supre Supre seed too lazy to bother with him and once again spread his right hand open.
But this ti, what appeared in the Supre Supre's palm was not a single chess piece, but… a whole box of them!
Countless ripples erged in the void. Ren Zuo watched in astonishnt as warriors, clad in full-coverage Fantasy Armor and wielding Energy Weapons, erged one after another from a Space Gate. Monts later, his field of view was densely packed with Armored Soldiers, as vast as a sea of smoke, as thick as a swarm of bees! The soldiers quickly assembled, forming ten detachnts arrayed beside the Cultivators Legion. Their discipline was strict, their movents swift, and their equipnt so superb that Ren Zuo, the country bumpkin, was left dumbfounded.
A towering warrior landed before the Supre Supre, drew his longsword, planted it in the ground, and declared loudly, "The Million-Strong Army of Didra, in accordance with a cryptic dark command, has co to wage war across the Multiverse for our allies!"
Didra, a million-strong army!
That Another World civilization that invaded Earth... it has also been subdued by the Fairy Palace?!
Moreover, Didra's elite soldiers, its leadership... they're actually willing to obey the Fairy Palace's commands?!
Ren Zuo looked at the Supre Supre with shocked eyes; his previous slight contempt for the Supre Supre dissipated completely.
He had seen from Ren Naiser's video how the Supre Supre sent people to crush Didra's conspiracy!
Subduing Didra must also be a credit to the Supre Supre!
Furthermore, even thirty years later, Didra was still willing to obey the Fairy Palace's orders, sending a million-strong army to assist!
This could not be explained by a re 'alliance.' It was more likely that over these thirty years, the Fairy Palace had gradually assimilated Didra, turning it into their own stronghold. Naturally, they could then demand anything from the Didra Plane!
To bring an entire Dinsion under control—just possessing such audacity and Ability ant the Supre Supre was far beyond any Hero Ren Zuo could have comprehended!
The approachable peace the Supre Supre had shown just now must have been a disguise!
That phrase from the Truth Seeker—'When it cos to what the Supre Supre says, it's best not to believe a single punctuation mark'—wasn't a joke, but a warning!
The Supre Supre is very dangerous!
However, under the Supre Supre's oppressive power, the Truth Seeker hadn't dared to say too much and could only hint indirectly to warn him!
The Supre Supre nodded calmly. At this mont, the Truth Seeker, pulling the Moon Chanter along, ca over and laughed, "Los, long ti no see! You haven't been to the tavern for a while."
Los?!
Ren Zuo was slightly startled. This Didra person before him... is he Los, the great hero who liberated Didra?
Could it be… Los was a pawn of the Fairy Palace from the very beginning?
If that's the case, then the Supre Supre is far too terrifying, isn't he?!
Los nodded, glanced at the Supre Supre, and said, "The White Angel has been conducting social experints in Didra these days, requesting our assistance…"
The Truth Seeker chuckled. "Then you're really unlucky. Although the White Angel also approached , I prefer the student nad Walker and firmly take Walker's side."
These powerful Transcendent projections chatted away like this, and Ren Zuo could not understand a single word. But he vaguely gathered that they were probably discussing the internal power struggles of the Fairy Palace, with Los belonging to the 'White Angel' faction and the Truth Seeker to the 'Walker' faction. However, their rivalry seed amicable. Although their superiors were in conflict, their personal relationships remained good.
But…
Ren Zuo glanced at the Supre Supre. Is it really appropriate for them to discuss this in front of the Supre Supre?
Or could it be… that by 2049, the Supre Supre is no longer the de facto leader of the Fairy Palace?
On closer thought, the introductory declarations of Los, the Truth Seeker, the Moon Chanter, and Ren Han all seed sowhat strange.
Ren Han's was 'Stellar Decrees,' the Truth Seeker's 'Higher Mandate of the Void,' the Moon Chanter's 'Prayer of the Moon,' and Los's 'Cryptic Dark Command'—none of them had co in response to the Supre Supre's summons!
They were actually under the jurisdiction of other leaders in the Fairy Palace! It was only because the Supre Supre needed their power this ti that they had projected themselves to 1999!
Is the internal struggle within the Fairy Palace so fierce in the future?
Or is this just normal expansion and division of authority?
Damn it, if only I could take these mories back, the administrative departnt could properly analyze the Fairy Palace's future organizational structure…
"Do not speak ill of others behind their backs."
The Supre Supre suddenly said in a cold voice, and the Truth Seeker and Los instantly fell silent.
Ren Zuo blinked. Is the Supre Supre angry?
Could it be… the Supre Supre highly values 'Walker' and 'White Angel'?
"If you're going to say it, say it to their face!"
The fingers of the Supre Supre's right hand suddenly ignited with rainbow Fiery Flas, and five crystal-clear, transparent glass chess pieces materialized from the void within the flas!
The next second, five ripples appeared in the void, and five figures erged, kneeling on one knee before the Supre Supre!
A handso man with cascading ink-black hair, dressed in a dark coat, with sharp eyebrows and starry eyes, looked up and said calmly:
"Voidwalker, at your command, My Supre. I am willing to shatter the void for you."
A sweet-faced girl with pink hair and turquoise eyes, carrying a white square box and wearing an off-the-shoulder chiffon Princess Dress, smiled gently and said in a soft voice:
"White Coffin Angel, at your command, My Supre. I am willing to offer my blessings for you."
A girl with black hair in twin ponytails, wearing a hooded jacket and shorts—her right eye blood-red, her left eye like a golden bell—giggled and said:
"Dread Chronomancer, at your command, My Supre. I wish to offer the toll of the bells for you."
Finally, a blue-haired girl in black clothes and a black-haired girl in white clothes, hand in hand, said in unison:
"Princess of the Dark Moon, at your command, My Supre. We wish to offer a Miracle for you."
Ren Zuo was utterly shocked, staring blankly at the five people before him, feeling as if his mind couldn't keep up.
Then they greeted the others, "Hello, Eighth Aunt, Aunt Tao, Uncle Luo, and Uncle Han."
The Moon Chanter, the Truth Seeker, Los, and Ren Han all responded; even the usually reserved Moon Chanter revealed a slight smile.
The Supre Supre humd indifferently. The White Coffin Angel imdiately sprang to life, rushing towards Ren Zuo and scaring him into taking an involuntary step back.
"Are you afraid of ?" the White Coffin Angel asked, tilting her head with a smile. "Aren't you the Benevolent King Ren Zuo of the Thousands of Miles of Rivers and Mountains? I'm very weak. Can you protect when the fighting starts?"
Although the pink-haired girl before him claid to be weak, Ren Zuo couldn't help but feel his eyebrows twitch uncontrollably.
He felt an intense threat!
This pink-haired girl was definitely not as harmless as she appeared!
"Sister, you can't fool soone with high Spiritual Vision like the Benevolent King," said the Dread Chronomancer, yawning and walking over with his hands in his pockets, curiously observing Ren Zuo with his golden-bell eyes.
Suddenly, the Dread Chronomancer said, "Happy birthday to you."
Ren Zuo was taken aback for a mont. "...Thank you."
The blue-haired girl pulled the black-haired girl over and said loudly, "I'm the younger sister, Hei Yin! She's my older sister, Xi Yue! Don't get us mixed up, okay? The one with long, straight black hair is my older sister, Xi Yue, and the one with blue Curly Hair is the younger sister, Hei Yin! Quick, repeat that!"
Ren Zuo said, "...The one with blue hair is Hei Yin, and the one with black hair is Xi Yue."
Hei Yin said with satisfaction, "Good, as long as you rember. Even though we are collectively known as the Princess of the Dark Moon, I prefer it when people call by my na. But many people get my sister's na and mine mixed up…"
Ren Zuo glanced at the Supre Supre, who was focused on the chessboard. Unable to restrain his curiosity, he asked, "You... what is your relationship with the Voidwalker, Mister Darkmoon, the Black Coffin Demon King, and the Dread Chronomancer?"
The Voidwalker stepped forward and said earnestly, "They are the previous generation's hero team, and we are the new generation's hero team. We have an Inheritance relationship with them and have inherited their titles."
Ren Zuo asked, "Hero team...? But the Black Coffin Demon King once thrashed a Transcendent from the Justice Faction..."
The White Coffin Angel imdiately retorted, "The Black Coffin Demon King is never wrong! That Transcendent definitely deserved to be beaten!"
Ren Zuo thought for a mont. After all, it was Zack who was beaten, not soone from the Great Wall. He decided not to dwell on that point and continued to ask,
"But... weren't there only four people in the last generation? How co you..."
"Isn't it perfectly normal for the Four Heavenly Kings to have five mbers?" the Dread Chronomancer asked, looking at Ren Zuo with an expression that seed to say, 'Are you a country bumpkin or sothing?'
The usually quiet Xi Yue whispered, "Hei Yin and I are still young and not strong enough yet. However, we can coordinate seamlessly, and our combined strength is sufficient to inherit the na 'Dark Moon,' so we must act as a pair."
Hei Yin nodded firmly. "That's right! Together, my sister and I are stronger than any of our other brothers and sisters!"
The Dread Chronomancer was still scrutinizing Ren Zuo and then said, "Well, well, I didn't expect the Benevolent King to have such a young and lively side. I thought you were a total brooder from birth... By the way, I am the Dread Chronomancer, Star Ti. A pleasure to et you."
Ren Zuo hesitated for a mont. "Do we know each other well?"
Star Ti nodded. "Although I can't say too much, we will be quite close in the future. But for you, that's probably a very distant future."
"What's this? Is it ti for my fourth favorite activity—group introductions?" the White Coffin Angel exclaid, excitedly grabbing the Voidwalker's hand. She flashed a sweet smile and said with great confidence:
"I am the White Coffin Angel, Wu Xia! Please take good care of on the battlefield~ Co on, Walker, it's your turn to introduce yourself."
The Voidwalker said, "I am the Voidwalker. It's a pleasure. We should go to the Supre Supre now for our orders…"
"We have an eleven-hour fight ahead of us; it's not our turn to enter the fray yet!"
Wu Xia seed frail, but her hand gripped the Voidwalker's like an iron hoop, making it impossible for him to break free.
"Don't be shy," Wu Xia said, smiling as she patted the Voidwalker's head. "We've all introduced ourselves by na, and you're the only one still using a title. That's quite rude, you know. You're our role model, after all~ Big Brother~"
The Voidwalker's face stiffened, and he sighed helplessly.
Ren Zuo said, "If it's inconvenient, I really don't mind. Anyway, this mory will fade once the war is over."
Wu Xia shook her head, then nodded. "That's right. Your mory will fade, but the Future Echoes you carry will still have their effect."
Turning her head towards the Voidwalker, she said, "Don't be shy. Rember, it was *their* request."
The Voidwalker seed taken aback for a mont. He exhaled slowly, as if finally coming to terms with sothing.
He looked at Ren Zuo, a gentle smile tinged with a hint of sorrow on his face, and said calmly,
"Hello. I am the Voidwalker, Heaven. It's a pleasure."
