Compared to other countries, Mysterious Country chose to make its first deal with Flourishing Sakura because there were factions within Flourishing Sakura that shared political ideologies with Mysterious Country and were helping to facilitate the connections.
Being the fourth largest political party in Flourishing Sakura and a force that could be recognized by the newcors of Mysterious Country, the Mysterious Faction’s Energy was not to be underestimated, and it certainly included Mysterious Country’s intelligence personnel.
But Ren Suo naturally refused this offer.
He needed to conduct a field survey first, simply because Ren Suo didn’t know exactly where the Spirit Vein in Flourishing Sakura Country was.
Flourishing Sakura Country’s population ranked in the top ten in the world. Although it was globally ranked 62nd in land area, it was an archipelago much like Britain, which ant there was a decent chance of finding a Spirit Vein there.
However, it differed from many other countries, with many potential Spirit Veins, quite peculiarly.
In Brazil, for example, the Spirit Vein was likely the symbol of Rio and Brazil—Mount Jesus.
In the Pacific Federation, it mostly included Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, the Statue of Liberty, or even the original copy of the Declaration of Independence.
In Flourishing Sakura Country, however, there were two capitals, Capital City and Tokyo, each with various landmarks thought to symbolize Flourishing Sakura, including Hiji Castle, Osaka Castle, and Mount Fuji among the possibilities...
Without a preliminary field survey, it would be embarrassing to identify the wrong Spirit Vein later on, Ren Suo thought.
But based on my previous two searches in the Spirit Treasury, it’s likely that the Spirit Treasury is in the country’s real capital. That’s why I had Red Fox head straight to the Tokyo tropolis, Ren Suo reasoned.
Turning on his Spiritual Vision while in the car, he could see two beams of light from a distance—the 634-ter Tokyo Skytree and the 333-ter Tokyo Tower.
Although both structures aren’t very old in Tokyo tropolis, they could indeed be considered ’Spirit Veins’. Since the Tokyo Tower is slightly older, I’ll have Red Fox check it first, Ren Suo decided.
