Chapter 813: Winning Sarah’s Heart

Sarah nodded, her voice a whisper. "But..." Her eyes searched mine, curious, pleading. "So what are you...?" Her voice was barely above a whisper. "A demon...?"

I chuckled, my voice a low, mystical whisper in her ear. "I’m an Incubus..." My lips brushed her ear, my voice playful, seductive. "Who lives on won’s essence..."

Sarah blushed fiercely, her voice flustered. "D-Don’t tease

like that..."

I pulled back, my eyes gleaming with amusent. "It’s the truth."

Sarah’s eyes widened, her voice a disbelieving whisper. "Really...?"

I nodded, my smile mystical, knowing.

As Sarah leaned against , her breath still shaky but her curiosity piqued, I glanced toward the warehouse.

With a subtle ntal command, I used my telekinesis to scan the area and found that Javier and Sergio had bolted out the back door like cowards. But Diaz was still there, bleeding and whimpering on the floor.

I pulled out my phone and instructed SERA to make an anonymous call for an ambulance. I wasn’t about to let him die easily—oh no. I wanted him to suffer, to live with the knowledge that he would never walk again, never touch another woman, and certainly never covet what was mine.

Sarah looked up at , her cheeks still flushed from the earlier conversation. "So... what other abilities does an Incubus have?" she asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and nervous excitent.

I leaned in, my lips brushing her ear as I whispered, "Oh, Sarah..." My voice was a low, seductive purr, and I felt her shiver against .

"My sen.. has healing properties." I watched as her face turned a deep crimson, her eyes darting to her plastered arms—the ones that had been broken and bruised during her ordeal.

"Do you... want to treat them?" I asked, my voice gentle, but my eyes burning with sothing far more intense.

Sarah’s blush deepened, her voice barely a whisper. "N-No... don’t..." She stamred, her fingers clutching at my shirt. "Just... give

so ti, please..." She hesitated, then added, "And about your girlfriend, Marina... I don’t want to... destroy your relationship with her..."

I chuckled, a dark, amused sound. "Do you really think I have just one girlfriend?" I raised an eyebrow, my lips curling into a smirk. "I’m an Incubus, Sarah."

Her eyes widened in shock. "How many won do you have?!"

I leaned back slightly, my grin widening. "More than you can count on your fingers and toes."

Sarah gasped, her face flushing even deeper. "More than 20?!" She looked at , a mix of horror and fascination in her eyes. "Are you so kind of... pig?!"

I laughed, shaking my head. "Hey, don’t call

that." My voice was playful, but my tone carried a hint of seriousness. "I can’t live without a woman... not even a single day." I shrugged, my smirk never fading. "And if I kept tornting just one woman every day... she’d die of exhaustion."

The night air was thick with the scent of rain and the distant hum of the city, but all I could focus on was Sarah—her wide, disbelieving eyes, the way her breath hitched as she processed everything I’d just told her. The weight of my words hung between us, heavy with truth and sothing deeper, sothing raw and unspoken.

"So... you’re telling

you need that many won just to... survive?" Sarah’s voice was a mix of shock and fascination, her fingers still clutching my shirt as if I were the only thing keeping her grounded.

I laughed softly, shaking my head. "Hey, don’t call

that." My voice was light, but there was an edge to it—sothing serious beneath the teasing. "I can’t live without a woman... not even a single day."

I shrugged, my smirk never fading, though my eyes held a depth she couldn’t quite read. "And if I kept tornting just one woman every day... she’d die of exhaustion."

Sarah’s mouth dropped open, her mind clearly racing. "So... you’re telling

you need that many won just to... survive?"

I nodded, but then my expression softened as I looked at her. "But Sarah... you are so special."

Her eyes widened, her breath catching. "Special...?"

I nodded again, my voice dropping to a whisper, my gaze locked onto hers. "I fell in love with you... When I first t you." The words slipped out effortlessly, though they carried the weight of sothing I’d never admitted to anyone. "But I knew you had a bad impression of ... so I didn’t co in front of you."

My voice was raw, honest. "I kept protecting you... from the shadows." I paused, my thumb brushing her cheek.

"I already prepared a case against Sergio, Diaz, and Javier... I was going to bring them to justice..." My voice darkened. "But what I didn’t expect was for them to kidnap you." My grip on her tightened slightly, my voice rough with emotion.

"So I ca running here... I was afraid sothing would happen to you... and I would never see you again."

Sarah’s eyes glistened with tears, her voice trembling. "I... I love you too, Jack..." She swallowed hard, her fingers tightening around mine. "Thank you for loving ... and secretly protecting ..." Her voice broke, but her gaze never left mine. "Thank you..."

I cupped her face, wiping away her tears with my thumb. "Okay, don’t cry anymore..." My voice was gentle, but firm. "Let’s go."

Without another word, I lifted her into my arms, cradling her against my chest as if she weighed nothing. With a thought, I activated my teleportation, the world blurring around us for a brief, disorienting mont.

We materialized inside Marina’s house, the warm glow of the lights a stark contrast to the darkness we’d just left behind. Sarah blinked, her body tensing slightly as she took in the familiar surroundings, her mind still reeling from everything that had happened.

I set her down gently, my hands lingering on her shoulders. "You’re safe now," I murmured, my voice a promise.

Sarah looked up at , her eyes filled with a mix of gratitude, awe, and sothing deeper—sothing that hinted at a future neither of us had dared to imagine until now. "Jack..." she whispered, her voice barely audible.
