Caral Snail and the others were startled, Cumin Powder hadn’t reacted yet, still counting with fingers:

A tal cylinder suddenly fell, crushing Cumin Powder to dust.

Caral Snail, being the closest, was imdiately blasted away by the shockwave, retreating in a rolling motion to absorb the force, then smoothly drawing out a Long Sword, eyes heavy with caution:
