"Pugh—Cough, cough, cough!"
Dugen spat out a mouthful of blood, which instantly solidified in the air into several mysterious and obscure rune patterns. With a flick of his magic wand in hand, it transford, condensing into an ice crystal blade.
"Soone like you shouldn’t be a nobody."
Li Aozi did not reply. He simply walked over with his hands behind his back, like a young man strolling by a lake. The cold wind swept through, lifting his hair, and for the first ti, Dugen experienced what it ant to be dazzlingly beautiful—just making eye contact with Li Aozi made him feel deep sha, leaving only self-loathing in his heart.
"You won’t answer? Heh, truly arrogant."
He leveled the blade in front of him, and the runes burst forth with intense light. Dugen Gorath looked towards the man standing leisurely in the distance, who appeared as if on a casual outing, and until now, hadn’t even taken out a weapon.
"Son of Artamas, rise and fight for !"
Dugen roared, his figure suddenly rising explosively with demon characteristics surfacing, and from the earth quickly rose head after head of ice creatures. Wielding weapons of solid ice, they brought winter’s catastrophe and charged toward Li Aozi!
[Gravity]
A golden halo lit up in Li Aozi’s eyes.
The next mont, the ground shook violently, and a whole city structure was forcefully torn from its gigantic frawork by Li Aozi. Under the distortion of gravity, it bent, compressed, and its edges smoothed out, finally turning into a smooth tallic sphere over fifty kiloters in diater.
Dugen Gorath looked up, only to find himself completely engulfed in shadow.
To this, his brain froze for a mont. Before his body could react and release the spell shield, he subconsciously muttered,
"...Fuck."
With a light tap of Li Aozi’s fingertip, the entire city plumted.
Boom————!
The ice creatures were instantly annihilated, and as Li Aozi’s fingertips slowly alternated like a pianist striking keys, the city, like a wind-up toy, wreaked havoc in the do structure, rolling and crashing. Any building existing on the ground was swept away in an instant, and the fierce kinetic energy of the colossal object, rely through air friction, caused countless explosions. The searing destruction propagated outward in shockwaves.
And this propagation was just the beginning for the Grave Star Cluster.
Li Aozi was completely unconcerned with destroying this artificial planet. The Grave Star Cluster was a typical do gastructure with no resource output, and it was filled with scum—killing them was no loss.
As for whether there might be good people, well, maybe there were; after all, with so many people, a few innocents were inevitable.
Pop!
Li Aozi clenched his fist.
The sphere the city had turned into lost its gravitational restraint and imdiately collapsed and burst, thousands of fiery tal streams turning into falling teoric fire streams. The roar and explosions were incessant, causing continuous destruction and collapse.
"Normal people don’t search for gold in a cesspit."
Li Aozi declared calmly.
Crack...
The Chill Armor’s shield shattered, and Dugen Gorath, looking terrified, shakily rose from the ground.
What was this?
He looked around at the apocalyptic wasteland that seed as if the end tis had descended, then again at Li Aozi, solitary in midair, as if looking at those statues of gods erected up high.
Leoz...
He was just using Arcane Energy, a bunch of Arcane Energy, a bunch of goddamned Sequential Arcane Energy, sweeping away all the magic traps he had set.
This man, Leoz, he was like a prophet.
Dugen was terrified beyond asure.
Just now, as he was about to summon the Frozen Earth Guard, that guy imdiately triggered gravity, collapsing and shattering the frozen ground beneath his feet, and in turn, ford it into a sphere. With several hundred tis the acceleration of gravity, it smashed toward him instantly. Had his reaction not been swift, he would have almost t his maker.
But before Dugen could sigh in relief, he realized that he might have been tricked.
That frost earth teorite landed and disintegrated imdiately, ejecting a white shadow that instantly killed, which turned out to be the Sodom Angel that had turned countless people into pillars of salt in the nightclub before!
Lioz, that jerk, actually hid the summon within the attack!
Dugen had no choice but to brace himself, summoned up the Frost Armor, and despite struggling for a while, failed to kill the angel. Even though the angel appeared tall and lean, ghostly floating and uncertain, its life was exceedingly tenacious. Even when he summoned a doomsday blizzard, letting liquid helium and liquid oxygen fall like freezing raindrops, it did nothing; the angel still waved its blade of Sulfur Fire, stirring up ferocious waves of fla.
Even after retiring from the legendary stage for 43 years... Dugen had never imagined that as a younger generation Ascender, Leoz would launch such a completely overwhelming assault on him.
But, that wasn’t all.
Limited attack damage, that wasn’t all, unable to move the angel, but the opponent’s Heavenly Fire couldn’t burn him either, a slight advantage.
What truly made Dugen’s skin crawl was that no one had ever known the rhythm of his magic casting.
Dugen’s occupation was the advanced occupation of the Fine Artistry series Mage pathway—Magic Tutor, which focused on specialized output in one elental direction, possessing extrely strong elental damage while having a far greater number of spell slots than other mage occupations.
A typical mage, when facing different situations, would have a complete set of spell chains prepared in advance, linking different bundles of spells through specific formulas.
Either like a program written in advance, recorded on the body through tattoos or stored in items, so when problems arise, they could be deployed promptly. Generally, this can be considered a mage’s combo that kills instantly.
However, the Leoz he was facing didn’t fall for any of that.
When he was deeply constructing a trap, enticing Leoz to step in, not only did Leoz brazenly charge in, but he also gave him a punch on the way. A punch amplified by "Bloodline," full-strength, shattered the Chill Armor and Magic Shield in an instant. It almost crushed Dugen’s kidneys.
He seed to know exactly how his spells were combined, reflexively dodging the White Snow Lance with a tilt of his head, then with a step shattered the snow monster sneaking up from below the ice river, and with a backhand unleashed a Dinsional Slash, folding and reducing the dinsion of the ice crystal arrows shot from the dark.
He knew everything... even his own secrets that he never shared with anyone else, clear as day!
Dugen panicked.
Most people cannot imagine things they have never seen before.
With his identity and past cris, his first reaction was to suspect soone betrayed him; his second thought was about Leoz’s origin, whether he might co from the Pearl Star, which he had plunged into an ice age.
After all, he had not only betrayed others but had also beco a Fallen rcenary.
Dugen yelled at the other side, trying to inquire about Leoz’s background.
But Leoz didn’t like to talk during a fight.
He maintained a silent and steady output, not wasting a single mont.
After his last eting with Leoz in the ntal Realm, he distinctly felt that he was becoming more integrated with Leoz, not affecting his personality but in so habits, he was becoming more efficient, acting more cleanly and decisively.
This wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.
At least, fighting in Leoz’s style was truly satisfying and decisive, simply put, like using an atomic bomb to hit a mosquito.
Don’t ask if there were any side effects, just say whether the mosquito is dead or not!
With just a few moves from Leoz, even without using Spaceti Freeze or Catastrophe Curse, Dugen couldn’t hold up any longer.
"I surrender, I surrender!"
Dugen raised his hands, tossing the Magic Guidebook and the Cane Sword on the ground, scrunching up his face, no longer willing to endure the tornt.
"Do what you want, just don’t fight anymore, this is too frustrating!"
