In the Primordial Era, the Starry Abyss, which gave birth to the cosmos and created everything, suddenly detected three dinsional Destroyers.
The Starry Abyss knew they would bring eternal destruction, so it initiated the ’Starry Abyss War,’ drawing power from existence and shaping The Pantheon to counter the invaders.
This war against the three great Destroyers led to the deaths of countless Starry Abyssal Spirits. Even the six Chief Gods nurtured by the Starry Abyss on Supre Paths were not exceptions.
Initially, the battles of the Chief Gods went smoothly. They kept the enemies at bay beyond the Starry Abyss, or beyond the Layered Abyss, at the very edge of the cosmos.
At that ti, the Chief Gods created a universe of their own as a buffer and fortress, which withstood for a long ti, never allowing the Destroyers to step into the true bounds of the Layered Abyss.
[Destroyer] System Main God perished.
[Fine Artistry] System Main God fell.
[Mysterious] System Main God was split into three. Two of them almost vanished, giving up the fight, while the [Prival Heavenly Sovereign] remained sowhat active, occasionally whispering mysterious words to the [Mutant].
The [Redemption] System Main God—Lai Anding had a very complex situation, ending in a fate worse than death.
The [Sovereign] System Main God, ’Morphederia,’ died thoroughly, rumored to have been devoured early on, but its Executer—the [God of Reality]—held onto its mandate and Divine Power, fighting until exhausted and ultimately falling, overwheld by countless [Society].
With Leoz’s defeat, the last Starry Abyss Main God also fell,
By the way—That [God of Reality]’s na was said to be ’Leoz.’
But Li Aozi knew that due to Leoz’s enduring spirit of resistance and the widely told legends, people had long considered ’Leoz’ to be the ’Interstellar Hero’ and ’Savior Leoz.’
This na had already beco secularized, used by many.
People felt regret over Leoz’s death, considering such loyalty and bravery in a god to be precious.
However, this history did not end there.
The myth continued.
Back then, the [Raiding] System Main God, Redd Gold, took actions starkly opposite to Leoz.
He got corrupted by one of the Destroyers, the [Gem Dragon King], betraying the Starry Abyss that nurtured him, becoming the most contemptible guide, the most detestable traitor, the most shaless animal.
Now, Redd Gold was still alive and well.
Not only that, [Union Group], a Narrative-Level Civilization, perpetuated Redd Gold’s divine na and faith by spreading pathways.
At the sa ti, gods who bravely resisted had mostly faded into history, while the sinner of the Starry Abyss lived better than anyone.
But Redd Gold’s existence was not aningless.
After all, the era of the Destroyers and the Starry Abyss gods had long gone, but the empty godly seats left behind radiated a madness-inducing glow.
Tis always changed, and the evaluation of the sa person in different eras changed as well.
Yesterday’s war heroes might now be criticized as war criminals and sinners, while the rare traitor might be seen as a peace ambassador.
Those who once criticized and attacked the Starry Abyss traitor ’Redd Gold,’ the idealistic high-minded ones, lost their voice and support after the Starry Abyss’s peace. They were considered peace-destroying outlaws, only knowing carnage and being stiffly unprogressive.
But Redd Gold, he lived as a living myth. The now only existing Chief God, who wouldn’t want to join his faction? Even if they couldn’t reach the Chief God position, at least they could reap benefits.
The history of the past was gone.
The present mortals only sought their reproduction and survival, vying for all resources.
The era when gods protected mortals had ended.
Now, the mortal struggle for divine seats had just begun!
Like Leoz, the idealistic warrior, dying to a vile ambush was indeed a pity.
But pity or not, the present world would rather say: "Good riddance."
Don’t obstruct your uncle from making money, ascending to godhood, achieving longevity, and dominating the cosmos.
With the end of the Chief God era, major Narrative-Levels began competing for pathways, gradually figuring out so rules.
Most importantly, the pathway divided the individual’s ascent to godhood, the ’Pathway of Divine Embrace,’ into detailed levels.
In the Starry Abyss, the pathway to ascension was divided into 24 tiers. Upon successful Promotion Rank the individual’s life level would step into a new realm.
This was defined by Narrative-Level Civilizations, and why such mysterious letters were used, no one knew.
Using player levels as a conversion, every 20 levels of the Main Profession could be considered an advancent of one tier on the pathway.
However, there were exceptions. Most NPCs, unlike players, enjoyed Secondary Profession Completions, which allowed them to achieve promotion as long as their Total Level t the criteria, even if their Main Profession level was slightly lower.
Firstly, the initial 10 tiers: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Epsilon, Delta, Zeta, Eta, Theta, Iota, Kappa covering levels 20~200.
In this range, a qualified Kappa tier was already a key figure capable of influencing the outco on the battlefield in the cosmos. However, achieving Kappa tier was an insurmountable feat for native beings of the first Layered Abyss of the Starry Abyss.
All Kappa tiers descended from one layer down the Starry Abyss, receiving blessings and training from the Border Abyss, then bore the Ascending Curse, returning to the first layer as powerful beings.
Thus, the first 10 tiers, with Kappa as the dividing line, were also known as the ’Curse-Free’ range.
The pathway spirals upwards around curses and blessings, making it the true Path to Divinity.
In the ’Curse-Free’ range, Li Aozi clearly rembered, there were two opportunities for individual species ascension.
Advancing to Epsilon tier granted ’Initial Ascension,’ optimizing their genetic structure, greatly extending lifespan, and further unlocking potential.
Next, upon promoting to Kappa tier, one received ’Further Ascension.’ At this point, the individual’s form underwent a significant transformation, with their power level extensively altered.
The most notable point was the ability to live in the cosmos vacuum, becoming a true ’Alien’ in the literal sense.
As for the following 12 tiers, they were divided into two phases.
From tiers 11 to 23: Lambda, Mu, Niu, Cauchy, Mystic Kolon, Pi, Rho, Sigma, Tao, Upsilon, Phi, Kai, Puxi covering levels 220~460.
In this range, due to the need to repeatedly dive deeper and ascend the Starry Abyss, continuously unleashing potential, individuals bore many curses and had to huddle for warmth, thus terd as the ’Strong Curse’ range.
The Strong Curse range did not have fixed ascension tis.
One could undergo ’Strengthened Ascension’ and ’Complete Ascension,’ but at most, they would reach ’Profound Ascension.’
In his past life, Li Aozi reached lv.300 as a [teor Fall Master] at the Mystic Kolon tier, being an Ace Bro had completed ’Profound Ascension.’
However, his luck was not good, enduring several Ascending Curses.
Under normal circumstances, a [teor Fall Master] completing ’Profound Ascension’ should stand over 1 million kiloters tall. Yet, Li Aozi’s character was rely 300,000 kiloters tall.
Even so, completing ’Profound Ascension’ could already be considered on par with a Starry Abyss demigod.
The final range was the unique ’Oga Tier’ (480 level).
The level of Oga Tier was beyond Li Aozi’s imagination. Their existence was unsustainable by this cosmos alone, mostly imrsing themselves around the lowest Starry Abyss, or curling in the deepest parts of Narrative-Level civilizations, not daring to act easily.
Their bodies were tortured beyond recognition by Ascending Curses, and the number of active Oga tiers capable of battle strength could be counted within three digits, and less than ten in number could ascend to godhood, also enjoying the entire pathway’s offerings as Chief Gods.
Besides the universally accepted ’Oga Tier,’ people called this range, and those beyond level 480, the ’Curse-Breaking’ range.
As for whether ascension existed at the Curse-Breaking range, it remained unknown.
Different species yielded varying Attribute Points, talents, and abilities upon ascension. The process of ascension also gradually selected the most potent bloodlines.
