Secret Society, Gaia.
This is Li Aozi, I’m starting to record this thing for the first ti.
I’m now at the abandoned settlent of Triangle Town, I’ve lit a lamp and made so coffee. The Ether has done too much damage to , and I want to get so good sleep.
To be honest, I never imagined that, despite always having the prophetic advantage, there would co a ti when it would lead astray for the first ti.
I cannot understand why an existence as peculiar as the Secret Society has no record on the Qiqiao Network’s official website, no sightings among players, not even rumors.
True to its na, ’Secret’.
I plan to docunt this event. While respectable people never keep diaries, I regard this as a letter to record down so of the peculiar situations I encounter.
Ever since I crossed over, I’ve had the advantage of being ahead of the version. I secured the best weapons, took important resources, and the majority of the talent gathered around . It’s fair to say that if it weren’t for these informational resources, based solely on my personal ability, I wouldn’t have today’s achievents— I can’t even begin to imagine, I even feel like I ca back specifically with this portion of mory.
Sotis I feel I shouldn’t limit myself to being just a Sovereign of the teor Fall Master pathway, but to consider becoming a Sovereign of the Dominator System... but no one knows exactly how to beco a Sovereign of a system.
There’s much I don’t know; I am not omniscient and omnipotent. In fact, I have limited intelligence. To prevent erosion by society, I never intended to excessively enhance my Intelligence.
(In the previous life’s ga, once transford by society it ant account deletion, I don’t dare to risk that in reality, especially considering that if it cos to knowledge, with high enough Charm, knowledge would naturally co and pursue . Characters with high Intelligence would be attracted to as well, with Unilateral Action at my disposal, I don’t need to waste energy investing in an invisible bomb.)
As far as Society is concerned, I could be considered an expert. In the previous life’s ga, with the help of Narrative-level Civilizations, I participated in the hunting of 9 Societal entities, ranking at the very top among players. They were:
[Silent Society]—— Narak Diane (Lv.199)
[chanical World Society]—— Mashigang (Lv.300)
[Color Domain Society]—— Liuqi Weiku (Lv.270)
[Northern Shore Society]—— Haviels (Lv.298)
[Eternal Industry Society]—— Bodoelton (Lv.230)
[Fengyu Society]—— Fini Settlent (Lv.200)
[Purple Moon Society]—— Atenia (Lv.180)
[Dream dicine Society]—— Fecundity (Lv.160)
[Ruins Fla Society]—— Satan Jima (Lv.300)
Actually, thinking about it now— it’s true; a society cannot be brought down by an individual. The only thing capable of confronting a society is a civilization.
At first glance, their levels don’t seem high, but in reality, their actual combat strength is level × (Speaker Senators Jury Citizen) total population.
Yes, multiplication.
Society can do many horrifying things. You can temporarily repel or drive it away, but there’s only one way to kill them — from bottom to top, slaughter every single one of its citizens, the jury, senators, and the speaker!
This is the most insane slaughter, because once society transforms into combat mode, every citizen within a level 200 society will rise to level 200, and then it gets real bad. You face a moving disaster with exponentially growing strength, utterly impenetrable to individual Transcendents.
But do you know how we hunt Societies?
—— Trap two opposing societies together, let them tear at each other but without being able to devour the other; otherwise, we’re finished.
I’m very good at this, especially the process of ’calling to remand within one’s own trap.’ I always cooperate quite enjoyably with those Narrative-level Civilizations in this regard, to the extent that I feel as though I was born to hunt and kill Societies.
Hmm, this might sound a bit repulsive— but the mont I see Societies screaming, wailing, and eting a painful death, I feel greatly relieved and delighted in my heart.
Because I worked with Narrative-level Civilizations, I used to think that Societies weren’t that frightening, as Narrative-level Civilizations would swiftly banish the victor the mont a society perished, having it fight in vain. It’s wonderful, dog-eat-dog; let those foolish beasts destroy each other.
However, the Secret Society shattered my naive illusions; it’s definitely the most mysterious existence I’ve ever encountered.
Let explain:
A Society can be considered the evolution of civilization, the ultimate being in all human domains, and can even be thought of as a living civilization with self-awareness.
In the cosmos, a Society is only referred to as ’it’, for it is considered a living civilization, as well as a beast which feeds on civilizations.
For a Society, citizens are just hunting organs, or cells of the Society.
Yes, cells.
Cells are equal to each other, and Societies deliberately use this to corrupt those highly intelligent or obstinately independent Transcendents.
But they never speak about what happens to cells in the end.
—— They serve the body, even to the point of death.
Those who believe that by controlling Strength, they control everything, will find that their strength is worthless before Society. No matter how strong you are individually, you can’t beat a Society of even a few dozen levels (if such a low-level Society even exists).
According to the official calculation formula, a level 100 society could directly flip its level to a thousand or even ten thousand levels (depending on the number of its citizens and the strength of the Speaker).
