"...It’s the sa answer as before."
Gretto thought, and said,
"Where exactly do you co from? You claim I’m of the sa kind as you, does that an you are also a Revolutionary?"
"Revolution? That is an irreconcilable conflict occurring within backward and inferior civilizations. The society I belong to would never encounter sothing so sad and inefficient."
"It seems you’re not from Sky Ring." Gretto shrugged.
"It doesn’t matter, Black Whale, we are all offspring of one mother. That noble, compassionate, and beautiful mother will step into the Starry Abyss with a concealed radiance. Sooner or later, all of this will happen, and the significance of your, mine, and all citizens’ existence is to clear every obstacle for Mother’s arrival."
The White Shark, with arrogant pride, spoke words of unclear aning, making Gretto even more headache-stricken.
"In that case, why don’t you tell ..." Gretto hesitated in his wording, "At least tell the na of that Mother?"
"You are not worthy to know Mother’s na because you rely possess the qualification and have not yet truly beco one of us."
"I don’t understand. What exactly is your goal? If you want to fight you, at least get out of here. I’ll duel you earnestly, but then you say we’re offspring of the sa mother—I don’t know what that signifies: family, an interest group, or a nation. But, you need sothing from . At least tell , as fellow kin, which species do we belong to?"
Seizing the opportunity, Gretto hurriedly asked.
However, the White Shark intentionally avoided discussing that term. He remained silent for a mont, seemingly seeing through Gretto’s thoughts, then sneered contemptuously,
"Ether."
"What?"
"Can’t you feel it? The difference between you and those mundane beings around you." The White Shark tugged on the bronze collar around his neck, mocking, "You and those humans aren’t even the sa species. They are a bunch of hairless apes evolved from monkeys, whereas you are nourished by Ether, a Supernatural Race born from the cosmos. From birth, you were destined to be one of us."
"Are you implying I’m not human?" Gretto said unhappily, "What species am I, then? That’s not for you to decide."
"Black Whale, you don’t understand. You simply do not understand."
The White Shark gritted his teeth and suddenly appeared behind Gretto, his sharp blade-like fingers resting on Gretto’s shoulder,
"Consu the Ether, listen to its call; you will naturally understand everything."
"Then just tell everything directly, and I’ll understand right now."
"That’s why I say you don’t understand. You simply do not understand." The White Shark continued to mock, "This planet is already dood to death, and you’re completely unaware. The existence deeply buried in the Stellar Core has veiled the sun and the clouds, obscuring your comprehension— I can’t say much more, Black Whale, but I cherish the ti conversing with you. After all, aside from you, there are very few suitable to beco Society Citizens on this planet."
"You always go on about those Society Citizens— I am a citizen of Sky Ring by birth, now, and forever."
Gretto despised this enigmatic, vague existence, but he subtly felt that the White Shark’s actions were not born of perverse humor or torture.
This arrogant "White Knight" seed to have different intentions; he might be insane, but he was definitely not stupid.
"Society is a living civilization."
The White Shark crossed his arms, looking down at him.
"And citizens are the cells of Society. The Jury is the society’s stem cells, the Senators its organ cells, and the Speaker is its brain cells. You and I, alike— at least, in the future, we will beco the most important stem cells."
"...Forget it."
Gretto gave up on thinking and conversing.
Though he had gleaned much information today, the White Shark’s obscure way of speaking left him incapable of deciphering these words.
But it did, at least, alleviate so boredom.
"White Shark, how did you find ?"
Leaning against the wall, he asked leisurely.
The White Shark replied coldly, "You should ask that Thief girlfriend of yours— though it’s strange, a woman’s body with a man’s soul."
"You an Mirror?" Gretto looked at the White Shark in disbelief, "Mirror never saw herself as a woman. Her parents died early on. For survival, she had to hide her true gender, and over ti, she beca this way."
With a sudden sigh, he added,
"I didn’t expect Mirror to achieve Gamma Phase before I did— now I’m the one lagging behind— I hope everyone is safe and sound."
"The Thief’s abilities and potential pale in comparison to yours."
The White Shark said coldly,
"This planet is truly pitiful; only four C3-Luca type Cosmic Humans."
"C3-Luca type Cosmic Humans? Four?" Gretto was curious, having never heard of such a thing.
"As the Black Knight, yourself, that genderless Thief nad Mirror, a Sailor, a Bell Ringer, and , there are only four in total."
Suddenly, the White Shark paused and said,
"No, perhaps there is now a fifth."
"You really are inconsistent. You mocked earlier; now, there’s a fifth? If you’re lying, at least put so effort into it."
"I didn’t lie to you, Black Whale. White Knights, like you, and us Professionals, disdain deception."
The White Shark seed to turn his head, his gaze seemingly piercing the bars, looking at the western sky,
"The Bell Ringer seems to have encountered a very interesting child; she will beco the new citizen."
The White Shark stared into the Outer World, murmuring,
"I can feel it, the Ether Blood boiling within. Her potential is imnse... perhaps a Jury-level talent."
Gretto slightly bowed; he sensed sothing Mysterious.
The White Shark seed to be in communication with soone else?
"Bell Ringer, tell , what is she? This intense Ether Blood resonance... even as soone at the Limit Threshold, I feel excited."
Gretto was puzzled, then heard the White Shark say,
"She is not a Jury? Are you kidding , this sudden surge of intuition, how can she not be a Jury?"
"What do you an, ’there’s more to Society than just the Jury’— this powerful Force Ether resonance, if not a Jury, then what?"
"...Are you sure?"
The White Shark took two steps back, his tone turned severe,
"You are sure that girl is one of the thirteen Senators, the Tailor?"
"Tell her na, I will co to you soon."
"...Yavin Heskixin? I’ll rember."
