"How frustrating," thought every mber of the Frost Plated Air Force.
Only the air forces of smaller nations had never dared to take off and face the Frost Plated "Vulture," fully aware that doing so would be a death sentence for their precious pilots. Even the Red Arrow Empire believed that the "Vulture" was a nearly perfect fighter jet, holding significant value for reference.
For a long ti, Frost Plated pilots were crowned "Gods of the Sky," and their Vultures, soaring through the heavens, were deed invincible.
However, Li Aozi not only shattered the myth of the invincible Vulture but in one fell swoop destroyed 29 heavy transport planes, 55 ard helicopters, 13 reconnaissance helicopters, 18 attack planes, 14 fighter jets (including two Vultures), 6 heavy bombers, and 2 AWACS.
Even as one of the Four Nations, such devastating losses drove the air force almost insane overnight.
The losses in ground troops and supplies were bad enough—now, just the air force’s losses alone amounted to at least 6.3 billion Derby. The Air Force headquarters directly told President Madeleine, "If you dare to make the air force face Li Aozi again, we’ll drop bombs on the Twin Palaces."
"What a joke! Does Madeleine, this crazy woman, really think that pilots can be dug up like potatoes in the field?"
Especially the Vulture fighters—my God, those two pilots were already Beta Rank "Rangers," chosen from the cream of the crop nationally, and yet again from among those, only the ones with the best psychological makeup and top-flight skills, not to ntion education levels not less than a Bachelor’s degree—these individuals were truly the finest of all Frost Plated, invaluable beyond money!
Even if President Madeleine were overthrown, these excellent pilots would pass on their superior genes and knowledge, securing a better future for the Frost Plated People.
But with Li Aozi’s attack, the air force was nearly driven to mutiny.
President Madeleine was sowhat rational. Faced with Li Aozi’s transgression across the Frost Plated airspace, she chose to keep silent, allowing the air force free reign.
However, this act further incited discontent among the national populace. Soon, Frost Plated netizens, full of righteous indignation, flooded the internet denouncing the weakness of President Madeleine and the air force.
"What a joke! I saw that red-and-black figure crossing the barrier above the advancing city. What was the air force doing?"
"If President Madeleine doesn’t make a speech soon, we’ll feel very insecure. I don’t want dangerous enemies flying over my head all the ti."
"Today, the industrial sector of Frost Plated’s stock market shut down. President Madeleine must imdiately make a statent to restore the confidence of investors!"
"Fight! Why aren’t you fighting? You’re just watching a traitor who betrayed our country fly over!"
"The military has betrayed us, Frost Plated People. You’re nothing but a bunch of cowards! President Madeleine is even worse, a real coward. Frost Plated is finished, goodbye—I’m emigrating to Red Arrow."
Li Aozi, who hadn’t forgotten to surf the internet in his spare ti, saw President Madeleine’s administration play dead and refuse to respond. He decided tough action was necessary to expose the true nature of President Madeleine’s governnt to the Frost Plated People.
He wasn’t concerned about President Madeleine daring to launch a nuclear bomb without Grante’s granary providing cheap sustenance; Frost Plated might starve a bunch of people this year.
So, Li Aozi decreased his altitude, and using gravity to distort the light around him, he passed directly through the barrier of an advancing city. He landed right in front of the city hall, gently hooked his finger, and pulled a 20-ter tall heroine statue out of the ground, raising it tens of ters before suddenly smashing it to the ground.
Boom Shakalaka—
The trendous noise and the shaking ground imdiately woke up the city residents. Soon, the dia reported the news of the statue’s collapse, and right next to the fallen heroine statue, a striking red spray-painted graffiti read:
"Equality is not a privilege, n and won, both are mbers of the people."
As the city’s residents were in shock, it was soon discovered that other cities had experienced similar destruction and slogans.
The economic capital of Frostdale, Jaffrin City, saw President Madeleine’s statue violently toppled to the ground, its head shattered. Coldly critiquing it, soone said:
"People who talk of ideologies are only thinking of business in their hearts."
In Axiso, the industrial stronghold of Frostdale, the ’Won First’ statue was turned upside down and impaled onto its pedestal, with a red banner sarcastically mocking:
"They operate in the na of the old era’s n hunting witches, repeating what n did to n—this isn’t progress, it’s rely becoming the new oppressors."
Even the guards noticed that just two blocks away from the highest political center of Frostdale—the Twin Palaces—a skyscraper’s mirrored facade was set afla with striking words:
"Recognize who your enemy is! The truly discriminated are all the poor Frost Plated people, not n and won."
This incident not only severely damaged the credibility of President Madeleine’s governnt but also served as a sobering alarm to the Frost Plated people who had been living under the peaceful shelter of major nations for a long ti.
At this mont, they began to gradually realize what it must have felt like for those civilians, hospitals, and factories once bombed by the Frost Plated Air Force.
The threat from the sky, accompanied by the screaming noise of sonic booms, brought indescribable fear to people’s hearts.
"We once bombed those smaller nations to consolidate our own interests and authority... Do they feel the sa as us? Or perhaps even worse? Is our battle truly unjust, causing severe destruction?"
Under the bombardnt and propaganda of Li Aozi, the Frost Plated people couldn’t help but fall into deep contemplation.
anwhile, President Madeleine, hiding in the air-raid shelter beneath the Twin Palaces, upon hearing that Li Aozi had long gone, not only refused to reflect but also exploded in rage:
"What absurdity, what absurdity, what absurdity!"
She pounded the table repeatedly, roaring hysterically like a furious lioness, her voice breaking as she shouted:
"The Air Force has betrayed , these cowards. From today onwards, the Air Force must take flight daily on patrol, with at least two planes each ti—one to monitor the execution of tasks, and simultaneously stripping pilots of their control over drones. They dare to threaten by bombing the Twin Palaces! This is treason!"
In her anger, she disregarded military taboos and directly instructed her subordinates:
"Get Governor Lai Lier Nanhu from the Fourth Rule Agency to thoroughly investigate the Air Force, there are certainly extre patriarchal extremists among them!"
"Your Excellency, this is absolutely not permissible," her secretary shuddered upon hearing this demand, sweating profusely, and hurriedly advised: "The Air Force system requires a group of the most elite personnel. If the Fourth Rule Agency starts interfering, and they go on strike, we simply can’t find replacents in ti."
"Aren’t civilian pilots still pilots?" Madeleine glared at him: "As far as I know, there are many female captains in civil aviation. Why not have them fly fighter jets?!"
The Frost Plated officials in the air-raid shelter were stunned upon hearing this statent, they all turned their heads in disbelief toward Madeleine.
"Your Excellency, are you sober?"
"This will ruin the military of Frostdale."
"If you continue this recklessness, then I must resign."
