"You have broken your promise, Earthling."

[Player] Plyer looked up, and Lai Anding instantly traversed the spaceti rift to stand before him, slightly bowing, leaning forward, with an attitude reminiscent of catching a child sneaking sweets. No matter how gentle his words, to the person involved, they carried an indescribable sense of oppression.

"Your Excellency Lai Anding, I can responsibly say: I have done everything in my power to stop Leoz. It was the Strength of Lord Entropy and those Primordial Species that could only achieve this much. If not for their insufficient support..."

Plyer wanted to continue explaining, but Lai Anding unceremoniously interrupted him:

"This is not your concern. The task I set was clear: persuade that usurping little cannon fodder to willingly back out from the stage of the Starry Abyss conflict—it's what the Primordial Species wanted as well. They need a world without the threat of Arstala, and I need a Primordial Abyss without rivals, which is why we ford an alliance."

"But you must understand, the Primordial Species do not care who rules the Primordial Abyss; they are incapable of creating an ending that would truly satisfy Leoz."

Plyer carefully chose his words before saying,

"Actually, the situation isn't that bad, Your Excellency—at least, we have two more chances to try to persuade Leoz to willingly withdraw..."

"Hoping for your enemy to make a mistake is a rationale that convinces no one but yourself."

"So, Your Excellency Lai Anding, do you regard Leoz as an enemy?"

"Enemy?"

Lai Anding slightly tilted his head:

"Does he deserve such a title?"

"...Can you say that again?"

"Cannon Fodder Deity 10752, by specification belongs to the Third Generation Divine Warriors sequence, ticulously crafted by . Prepared specifically to adapt to the battlefield of Will of the Dominator where Morphederia is stationed. The Artistic Spirit Race's body contains three types of Arcane Energy, after being scorched by Chaos Fire, they are emotionless, will not retreat, and remain steadfast forever."

"What is Leoz compared to all this? I see right through him."

"Did you misunderstand sothing, Mr. Plyer? I sent you to persuade Leoz not because I am afraid to engage in war with Leoz."

"It is because I cannot bear to initiate the Great Starry Abyss War, nor can I bear to witness the mass suffering and family separations it would cause."

"My heart is soft; I cannot bear to see suffering. What is the pain for the Warriors descending into the Starry Abyss? Just burying their heads in slaughter and peacefully accepting death should suffice, while I must sit upon this wasteland of Primordial Abyss, enduring the pain of witnessing death and obliteration again and again, throughout history."

"These cannon fodders, these warriors, lose nothing but life. But I am the very embodint of life's creation. The Will of the Starry Abyss regards as a factory's assembly line, numbly assembling my flesh and bone children before sending them onto the lines, watching them perish afar—day after day, year after year!"

"I am a mother too—I am the mother of all things in this world. But when my kind go forward to kill the enemy, I am imprisoned in this cage nad power, either birthing or healing. Have I ever had my own life? Everything of mine is dedicated to the multitudes; young girls sing praises of gifting them youth and beauty, but where is my own youth? I have birthed for the Starry Abyss, yet have never birthed for myself!"

"Since becoming Chief God, I have never been happy for a single day."

Lai Anding rarely expressed oneself in such lengthy discourse.

Saying such things today possibly stems from the disappointnt of failing to persuade, but it might also be a brief eruption of pent-up emotions.

No one else can comprehend Lai Anding's mindset, but Plyer understands very well.

Because who could have thought, Lai Anding, whose power seemingly envelops the whole Primordial God Clan, controlling the Fate of Six Abysses and Thirteen Narratives, is one of the oldest Chief Gods, was actually just the reproductive tool of the Will of the Starry Abyss.

"Your Excellency Lai Anding...ma'am, have you never thought of rebelling against this fate?"

"Within this Endless Starry Abyss, only death and hierarchy are insurmountable. Whether it be Chief Gods or the lowest outcasts, all is predestined; no one can escape the manipulation of fate. Even rebelling against fate itself is simply a piece of it."

Lai Anding spoke lightly:

"Even if I rebelled, what then? I am but a crafted birthing machine, akin to those cannon fodder deities I crafted. I cannot resist fate, because that is the purpose of my existence. Similarly, I do not hate Leoz, rather, out of sympathy from experience, I persuade him to accept it all."

"Lord Entropy and the Primordial Species' plan..."

"Those things are irrelevant; these old beings care little about who rules the Primordial Abyss. To the Primordial Species, three thousand Destroyers are not as harmful as one Arstala. If other Destroyers arrive, they rely sweep everything away, clean it up, reboot the world, and proceed into cycles of generations—the Cosmic will continue endlessly."

"But Arstala will not indulge them, right?"

"If not for Arstala, I wouldn't glance at Leoz."

Lai Anding reached out, gently brushed her hair aside, her tone serene:

"Even now, Arstala has many hosts, one less is of no concern. I don't think that boy will ultimately beco Arstala—he's rely cannon fodder, where does he have the audacity and Talent to be singled out by Arstala from nurous legacies."
