The mountain bird carried a flower to the treetop, lightly trembling its wings, placing the blossom atop the nest. The vibrant flower always pleased the female bird, allowing her to lay down the day's exhaustion of nurturing offspring and entwine with the male bird sweetly.
Today, the weather was clear and sunny, a rare great day. The forest creatures in the border area of the Border Abyss, being far from civilization, remained untouched and vibrant, thriving in a wild growing state. Perhaps after a million years, a unique civilization might be born.
The Starry Abyss is so fair, giving any creature the opportunity to transform into civilization.
Rumble rumble rumble——————!
The next mont, the alternating silver-red fierce light descended from the sky, the surging heatwave like a flood completely engulfing and destroying the entire valley.
Now, the opportunity was gone.
Bang!
The fla-haired girl stepped barefoot onto the ground, instantly sinking the continent. The mountains swiftly collapsed and crumbled, and the dust from the nuclear explosion echoed even a thousand miles away, the blast waves almost tearing the solid space of the Border Abyss apart.
Before Li Aozi's incarnation as the fla-haired girl could steady herself, a blade instantly descended, slicing through dinsions and ti, striking the girl's forehead right when her toes touched the ground.
—Clang!
The clash of sword blade and skin produced the sound of tal ether colliding. At the spot of Apostle Arthur's sword blade cut, layers of tal armor spawned out of thin air, blocking the attack.
But, did it really block the attack?
Crack boom crack crack crack crack!
Fiery currents danced and blood, showing no regard for any armor, advancing unimpeded and causing destruction. The fla-haired girl tilted her head, stepping back ceaselessly, her forehead constantly generating new armor. Arthur took this opportunity, landing on both feet, withdrawing his blade, flipping his grip, whirling around and jumping, like a sudden scythe, chopping down from above.
[teor Fall Gravitational Scepter]
The fla-haired girl raised her hand, a black-and-white interwoven scepter rapidly forming in her palm, rotating swiftly, force rising from the ground, instantly sweeping away the slash.
Arthur seized the mont, his body seed to lose weight, and even though the fla-haired girl exerted gravitational pull, she couldn't capture him, having to watch as Arthur twisted bizarrely in mid-air, moving out of attack range, circling half a round in the air before imdiately launching from a deft angle, thrusting his sword straight at the girl's throat.
His speed didn't appear fast, but even light couldn't keep up with his track.
No dialogue, no communication, no aningless provocation.
The First Apostle Arthur displayed nothing but pure combat desire.
What was his reason for being here? Who sent him? What was his purpose?
—There was no ti to ponder these thoughts.
The clashing of sword blades and scepter demanded full concentration just to avoid being at a disadvantage in close combat.
Arthur's attacks were, like the fire he brought.
Each sword stroke carried a sense of fate, as if trying to avoid it would inevitably reveal a flaw, forcing one to attempt a hard parry. This was sowhat akin to the Void Executioner, but as a True Divine Apostle, Arthur exerted far more pressure than the Void Executioner.
Ka!
Arthur's sword struck the scepter, the fla-haired girl imdiately deflected the long handle, swinging the lower part to attack Arthur's toes. However, Arthur leapt into the air, striking the girl's chest with a kick, imdiately maneuvering his posture, swinging the sword in his hand, tearing through spaceti dinsions.
The next mont, Arthur appeared eighteen seconds before, in the midair where the fla-haired girl had just descended upon the gorge, lifting the blade towards the girl's fair neck.
Pa!
The girl's head flew high, with a hint of surprise.
"You lost."
Arthur raised his hand to catch the girl's head, lifted her fla-colored long hair, and said calmly:
"Undeniably, your swordsmanship has been honed on the battlefield, forming your own school. If this were your past life, in a fair duel, I wouldn't be your opponent, but you clearly haven't recovered that perfect stance yet—"
Before he finished speaking, he saw the headless corpse silently raise its hand, the palm blossoming with a warm fla, the blood-red sunset glow slowly illuminating her body, reconstructing the girl's visage at the severed neck with the light bead from all directions.
"A Healer could drive you crazy."
The fla-haired girl flicked her head, sending waves of fiery red hair swirling, she glanced at Arthur:
"Your strength is peculiar, as if you can't dominate your own Mandate. No, to be precise, that sword—it's dominating your Will?"
Arthur stared blankly at the unscathed fla-haired girl, lowering his head, his tattered cloak fluttering constantly, he steadied his blade, murmuring:
"…No need to worry."
The next mont, he tore open the tiline again, arriving an hour prior.
At this mont, Li Aozi had his back to him, a grin on his face, the visage was ignited by flas, just transforming into the slender and beautiful fla-haired girl, the crimson pupils shimring, her lips slightly pursed, leisurely saying:
"Just one of is enough—"
Hiss!
Arthur silently stepped out of the tiline, thrusting his sword into Li Aozi's back, the slender blade piercing the heart, Arthur slightly exerted force, lifting Li Aozi from the ground.
"Lord Leoz!"
"Damn it, this guy is a True God, directly attacking across the tiline."
Oshen and others were startled by the sudden attack, but years of combat proficiency made them imdiately take on a True God stance, surrounding Arthur.
Fifteen Spiritual Warriors revealed their true forms, and the overwhelming Divine Power indeed briefly suppressed Arthur for a mont.
His wrist gripping the sword stalled for a second.
But only for that second.
Arthur's gaze flickered slightly, his left hand extended from his sleeve, lightly snapping his fingers.
Ping!
In the next mont, the mountain rock layers where the conference room was located were instantly obliterated, and the earth was filled with broken weapons, the stench of corpses and the pungent sll of gunpowder spreading relentlessly.
A battlefield.
The battlefield of the Foreign Domain spread like an ignited scroll, continuously expanding over the land of the Border Abyss.
Oshen's pupils contracted in an instant as he pulled soone beside him:
"Quick, get out—it's the Divine Country!"
Everyone cald down imdiately and retreated, but even so, it was already too late.
Arthur's Divine Country had completely opened.
「(Primordial Abyss Divine Language) Granted from the heavens, returning with the stars and moon, drinking the white dew under the morning light, casting the sky with mountain copper, weaving the wild fire, cutting off the truth from the distant heaven and earth, abode of the heavens, Terrestrial Divine Kingdom.」
Arthur coldly recited the spell that stirred the Divine Power, and instantly, the battlefield intertwined from all directions, completely surrounded them. A towering, dilapidated castle stood unwavering behind Him.
He drew the treasured sword from Li Aozi's back, raised the blade, and solemnly declared:
「King of the Sword Enclosed Arena—descend here.」
"Ugh!"
An invisible force instantly pressed down, causing Oshen and the others to collapse under the weight of the Divine Country, each almost bending over like bowing, struggling to stand on the ground.
"Damn it, this guy is indeed the Divine Country of the Primordial God Clan, unlike the Evil God, we can't just find a loophole and escape." Atreya Nightwind complained: "Who exactly is attacking us?"
Whoosh———Boom!
Elevent struggled to wield the magic wand to shoot, as various knights burning with flas surged from all directions, urgently saying:
"There are too many zealots at this level of the Divine Country... Could He have lived all the way from the War Beyond the Abyss?"
"Probably! This guy is under the command of the [Goddess of Truth] Charlgarnia, I was hunted down by that goddess before, her power is not to be underestimated."
Oshen slashed left and right, still unable to withstand the crashing burning knights. As they collided with him, they quickly expanded and exploded, and even though the damage wasn't high, as they kept piling on, no one could endure it.
After several rounds of bombardnt, Oshen and the others quickly exhausted one resurrection opportunity.
Their levels weren't high to begin with, and even when revealing their true forms, facing such large-scale enemies, they couldn't possibly perform well.
"What should we do?" Soone shouted: "It doesn't matter whose slave he is now, this guy just wants to wipe us out together, right!?"
Oshen blocked an attack, looked into the distance with a complicated gaze:
"...Believe in Lord Leoz."
Pa!
Arthur's body was instantly slamd into the rock layers, creating a 'big' shaped crater, and as He just raised His head, crushed stones pelted down on His chest, and a pale girl's hand imdiately clasped down on His face.
"Ha... I knew you'd open the Divine Country!"
The fla-haired girl forced Arthur's head down into the rock layers, the wounds on her body already healing when switching postures:
"Every move you make is ant to kill , that's great, you even used a tiline attack, right? Too bad, I have an immortal body, even if you go back hundreds of years—no, back then, you were even more no match for ."
Arthur struggled forcefully, yet found not the slightest chance to move.
「...So, you deliberately gave the chance to open the Divine Country.」
"Initially, I wanted to see what you'd do after resurrecting, but you were too weak, couldn't even kill once. On the original tiline, you must have found you couldn't kill on the frontlines and started looking for opportunities? I'm too familiar with these tricks. I used to do the sa against Leviathandal."
The girl spoke casually, then slowly pressed, questioning the opponent:
"I let you open the Divine Country, to find a place for a secret conversation. Who let have no Divine Country—so, Lord Arthur, was it Redd Gold who sent you?"
After speaking, she kindly reminded:
"This is your Divine Country, even if I kill you hundreds of tis, you won't die, and you can't kill . Even if you expel , what good is that? Outside, you are even less my opponent, so it's best you answer what I ask honestly."
「No.」
Arthur faced the fla-haired girl's gold-red eyes through His fingers, slowly saying:
「I sought you out for the Goddess's freedom, of my own accord.」
The fla-haired girl was surprised:
"Hoho? So, you know about Charlgarnia and Redd Gold's situation?"
「For five thousand years, I've been striving for the Goddess to break free from that demon, even if it ant selling my soul to another demon, I'd do it.」
As Arthur spoke, He raised the blade again, directly stabbing into the fla-haired girl's abdon.
However, the fla-haired girl's expression remained indifferent.
"The [Sunset Priest] is entirely a healer's stance, you cannot kill ."
The fla-haired girl said calmly, raising her hand to grip the sword hilt at her waist, casually pulling.
Thrust——
Bright crimson light scattered outward, the fla-haired girl held Arthur's blade in one hand, released the grip on His head with the other, and stepped back two steps, the abdominal cut already healed.
"You've done well, Arthur." The fla-haired girl slowly said: "Even I don't know how strong I am now, thank you for roughly assessing my power."
