"Maybe." Leoz finished speaking and promised, "I won't let you die at soone else's hands."
"Thank you, Leoz, you're really sweet." Rednaya smiled, then straightened her face, "There's a good chance of that. I suspect that guy is silently adjusting the probabilities right now. The Secret side lacks this ability, but that doesn't an other Society side mbers don't."
Leoz said:
"I only know that Fate can modify fate to so extent, but only if the opponent personally faces . The Society side's abilities... for example?"
"Epic Society's Reidori."
Rednaya held her forehead and said solemnly:
"Its status is a bit low, but if you count its size, that guy is bigger than Gaia. If it is indeed him causing trouble from behind the scenes, I don't recomnd facing him now; be ready to run."
"Reidori? Never heard of it." Leoz recalled briefly; this Society was very unfamiliar to him. Apart from having heard the na, he knew nothing else.
"It's normal not to have heard of it because Reidori wasn't born during the War Beyond the Abyss, yet it's ancient."
Rednaya pondered for a mont, organized her words, and briefly inford her companion:
"Reidori evolved gradually from a civilization mimicry—the transitional stage between a civilization's evolution to Society."
"And the earliest civilization mimicry ca from the Destruction Universe, transford by one of Dumfis' war band civilizations, the Alzu Civilization. But it was very weak, its body entirely flimsy, easily destroyed and devoured by the Destruction God."
"But Reidori is different. It originated from a special civilization in the Art Universe—the 'Authors of Poems' civilization—then devoured Spiritual Warriors, other civilizations, its own kind, even weaker Societies, gradually evolving into a complete civilization."
"In other words, that guy is older than Gaia."
Rednaya shrugged:
"Although this guy is not as terrifying as Gaia, the Speaker under him is especially strong, best at composing epics or summoning heroes from folktales and myths—hmm, co to think of it, 'Golden Dragon Monk vs. Evil God,' seems to be an epic too..."
... Oh, right.
Previously, I was only asking Ranmalock and forgot that the Angels never understood the history of the Society side.
Saying so, Leoz seems to have been targeted by many people right from the start...
Realizing that sothing was wrong, Rednaya looked warmly at Leoz, and gently placed her warm little hand on the back of his, speaking softly:
"Darling, we can't win, let's run."
"In such a hurry to leave?"
A cold voice suddenly sounded by the ear, echoing endlessly like a reverberation.
Crack, crack...
A cold storm, frost covered the ground in an instant, freezing Rednaya's body solid.
The next mont, a pale, withered hand pressed down on her shoulder.
A woman with white hair, white skin, ice-blue eyes, wrapped in chains suddenly appeared before them. She gently patted, completely shattering Rednaya's ice sculpture.
Crack!
Ice and flesh instantly shattered and splattered. The woman then coldly eyed Leoz and said:
"Truly unexpected—I just finished dealing with that Allied Demigod, was planning to wrap up, but suddenly discovered not only the Secret Speaker was interfering with your fate line, but others too. A lead planted casually back then, didn't expect to run into it here."
She held a golden Holy Grail full of bright red wine in one hand and slowly lifted it:
"I am Qixi Lei, Doomspeaker."
"Don't bother having your subordinates continue gathering information; boring deduction isn't part of epics. My masterpiece only includes blades and ice fire, blood and dragon roars, thunder and death."
"I'm roughly Oga Tier (24); even cursed, my current level is still at Cauchy (14)."
A terrifying pressure instantly enveloped the world. Standing on Rednaya's corpse, Qixi Lei lifted her cup to toast Leoz:
"A salute to you, my legend."
"I'll give you an opportunity, co kill now."
"3, 2, 1."
Qixi Lei nodded and blew a breath.
Shh—
Frost covered the land, freezing Leoz's body instantly.
Pa!
Qixi Lei threw a punch, smashing Leoz's ice sculpture to pieces.
"Truly a pity, you didn't seize it."
Qixi Lei said indifferently:
"People always question why the final villain in dramas repeatedly spares the protagonist."
"But I won't."
Before the shattered ice and corpses of Leoz and Rednaya, Qixi Lei lifted a piece of parchnt and explained while writing:
"Because my ability is, when the story is unsatisfactory, I can choose to delete, rewind, and rectify at any ti."
"An author who fills plot holes is a good author. Not only do I fill holes, but I can also delete the ones I can't fill."
"I won't let you have a chance to resurrect. Even Red Gold, you can only look after yourself, can't you?"
She quickly wrote a line of cursive letters, gently tore off the parchnt, and tossed it into the air:
"All you can achieve is doomsday."
The scroll drifted down lightly, covering the corpses.
[Epic Creation]—activated.
The history belonging to Leoz was continuously modified, deleted, and abridged.
The Speaker's Authority was fully activated, leaving no omissions, focusing on 'Leoz's deeds.'
From then on, "The Legend of Conquering the Hero: The Biography of Leoz"—was concluded.
"Although it's a bit of a letdown... it can be considered a good work."
Qixi Lei sipped so wine and nodded:
"This ti even brought out Red Gold, truly unexpected—wonder which big figure silently interfered with Leoz's fate in the background—it seems like good intentions got bad results, huh?"
"However, this way, the Secret side should be able to let go."
"Farr Senator, it's getting cold, it's about ti for you to start harvesting."
