Billowing smoke, mingled with flas, shot straight into the sky.
The sound of the explosions bood like thunder.
Seven Beak Eagle bombers flew at a steady pace along the bombing route, leaving a string of massive craters in the jungle below.
No one knew how many Heize Werewolves were killed by the blasts, how many were shaken to death, or how many were buried beneath the dirt and splinters raining down from the sky.
Throughout the bombing, the Heize Werewolves made no response. From high above, no movent from the Heize Werewolves could be seen, as if the forest held no defenders at all.
After completing their bombing mission, the bombers climbed and turned, entering the route back to the Eternal Domain.
The battlefield returned to silence, but this quiet didn’t last long.
A dense rumbling and long whistles arose from the Eternal Domain’s artillery positions. Shells of various sizes and types, following different trajectories, soared over the Blackwater District.
Upon landing in the jungle on the opposing side, the explosions blanketed the entire forest edge.
Although these explosions were far less intense than those from the Beak Eagle bombers, their density covered all areas the aerial bombs had missed.
Moreover, unlike the Beak Eagle bombers, which had to return after dropping their payload, the Eternal Domain’s artillery bombardnt was relentless and continuous.
Yan Xing, flying in the sky, finally saw the Heize Werewolf defenders. These Werewolves, who had intended to fight a decisive battle in this region against the Eternal Domain, lost all will to fight after being bombarded by the aircraft and artillery.

Even the normally fearless Werewolves suffered a complete collapse in morale when faced with an enemy that could easily annihilate them, without them even knowing where the attacks originated.
Neither Werewolf Warriors nor Werewolf Beast Tars dared to remain in the forest, now riddled with explosions.
They fled in panic.
The defensive line Clan Leader Ironhead believed could hold for a year was surrendered to the enemy in less than twenty minutes.
The Eternal Domain’s bombardnt continued, proceeding with successive advancing barrages that extended its reach.
Chui Chui’s preset smoke bombs in the safe corridors detonated on schedule, their colored smoke marking the path for the Eternal Domain’s advancing ground troops.

Fifty ters behind the all-terrain vehicles, infantryn rushed from their shelters at the offensive positions, charging down the scouted road towards Heize City.
