Within the Eternal Domain, the Werewolves were in agony yet delighted, tornted by the weapons distributed to them.

Farrs at work were given slingshots, batch by batch, to comnce training.

After Yan Xing finished distributing equipnt to the Werewolves, he drove the truck back to the real world. As several buildings began construction simultaneously, the rate of material consumption increased significantly. He needed to haul several more loads of bricks and cent quickly to ensure the construction progress for the militia barracks and training grounds.

Fortunately, after the Duan’er Tribe let out a communal howl last night, they hadn’t been seen again. This bought more ti for arranging the defenses of the Eternal Domain.

Duan’er, of course, knew that dragging things out was extrely detrintal to his side, but he still patiently awaited news from all directions.

「By midday」

The Scouts he had dispatched gradually returned. The news they brought was all good. No signs of other human activity had been found across the vast plains, which ant this human encampnt was an isolated force. Without reinforcents, no matter how well the defenses were set up, they would eventually be breached.

Duan’er looked in the direction of the human camp.

Having left the high ground that provided good visibility last night, he could no longer clearly observe the human encampnt from his current position. However, he had seen all that needed to be seen; the defensive layout of the camp was etched in his mind.

The human camp’s defense was divided into two layers.

The outer layer was a trench zone. Due to the dense placent of barbed iron thorns, Werewolves couldn’t directly jump over it. The best thod to cross, of course, was to lay down planks and rush directly over the trench and iron wires.

However, no trees could be found on these plains.

Transporting timber from the Red Mud Wetland was an issue. The Swamp Tribe couldn’t make carts, and relying on Werewolves to pull it would take a day or two. This ti, Duan’er had gathered all the elite mbers of his tribe. He had to return before other Wolf Packs discovered the Red Mud Wetland’s vulnerability. Therefore, they had to fight quickly and decisively here; going back for timber was impractical.

Luckily, the trench zone was not impassable. Although the pathways were convoluted and narrow, it was still possible to get through with so caution. After all, there were no Archers in the human camp, and farrs throwing stones wouldn’t harm many Werewolves.

Duan’er conservatively estimated that his Wolf Pack could breach the trench zone by sacrificing ten Werewolves. The optimistic scenario was passing through without any injuries.

Once they broke through the trench zone, they would face the iron wire protective wall of the human camp. Covered with iron-spiked thorns, it also prevented Werewolves from easily climbing over, so they would have to bash it hard to create a breach and rush in.

This was the helplessness of the Swamp Tribe. Due to their low level of civilization, many of their weapons were made from materials at hand. They couldn’t build vehicles or craft overly complicated tools. The swamp restricted other species from entering, but it also confined the Swamp Tribe within.

If Duan’er were facing a proper, high-walled human fortress, one look last night would have been enough for him to lead his troops ho, as they would have been unable to storm it. But what he was facing now was rely an extrely flimsy iron wire wall; a firm bashing would definitely break through.

If my Wolf Pack can just break into the human camp...

Just a group of farrs and ten Werewolves against my Wolf Pack would be lambs to the slaughter.

A casualty count of thirty Werewolves on his side was Duan’er’s most pessimistic estimate for this battle. For a tribe of just over two hundred Werewolves, these casualties were not insignificant. However, the resources they could obtain would definitely elevate the entire tribe’s strength by several levels.

Duan’er thought about the shiny armor he had seen on the traitor yesterday and felt extrely envious. He himself only wore chain mail, and because of the swamp’s humidity, so parts had broken despite careful maintenance.

I want to personally strip those beautiful armors off the traitor’s corpse.

"Clan Leader, Clan Leader... Reinforcents have arrived."

The fifty Werewolves summoned from the Red Mud Wetland had arrived, and all dispatched Scouts were recalled. At this point, Duan’er’s available forces reached one hundred ten Werewolves. This included one hundred First Order Werewolves and ten Second Order Great Werewolves. Additionally, five Poison Flies lurked in the surrounding grass.

The sun in the sky had already shifted westward.

Duan’er ordered all Werewolves to attack, to charge into the human camp with the fiercest offense and in the shortest ti possible.

"Here, I can sll the scent of at wafting from the human camp, and we haven’t eaten anything since last night. Hunger is the greatest motivator for a Werewolf in battle—on the battlefield, my food is the enemy’s corpse!

"Werewolves of the Red Mud Wetland! I am your Clan Leader Duan’er! Follow ... Attack!"

Duan’er raised the flail in his hand and roared. A chorus of howls from the Wolf Pack erupted, creating a wave of sound that rolled and spread across the plains.

All the hidden Werewolves leaped up, howling and shouting, swinging the flails in their hands as they charged with great strides toward the nearby human camp.

In Yan Xing’s Eternal Domain, the sound of the Wolf Pack startled everyone.

The children in the arrow towers shouted, indicating the direction from which the Wolf Pack was approaching.

Olaf imdiately took his subordinates, who were familiarizing themselves with their equipnt, and ran to the nearest protective wall. He called out through the walkie-talkie, "Sir, Sir... Duan’er is leading the Wolf Pack in an attack..."

Yan Xing’s voice quickly ca through all the walkie-talkies, "Don’t panic, I’ve seen them. Olaf, you take your pack of Werewolves to et the main force of Duan’er’s Wolf Pack; hold your position behind the protective wall.

"Eddie, take your n to take over the arrow towers and relieve the children. Watch our flanks and rear; don’t get outflanked or ambushed.

"Gao Sipa, take sixteen n out—half to the arrow towers, half to follow Olaf.

"Lao Hansi, organize the children who have been withdrawn; they’ll be responsible for resupplying slingshots, rubber bands, and marbles.

"Everyone else, continue with your tasks."

These Werewolves won’t even let us eat in peace...

For the whole morning, Yan Xing had been busy transporting supplies to the Eternal Domain. Just when he had finally stopped to grab a bite to eat, the Duan’er Wolf Pack chose this exact mont to attack.

Yan Xing, holding a boxed lunch, climbed an arrow tower. The arrow tower was constructed from scaffolding, with a circle of iron sheeting around the watchroom on top. Looking down from the four-ter-high tower, he could clearly see the charging Wolf Pack.

Yan Xing relayed several commands to his subordinates through the walkie-talkie. He then quickly gobbled down his al, stuffing the remaining rice and vegetable sauce into his mouth. He pulled a bottle of mineral water from a bundle at his feet, gulping it down to wash down the food.

At this ti, Eddie, also clad in lallar armor and a Tactical Vest, climbed up with a farr from below. Upon seeing the charging Wolf Pack outside, the faces of both n couldn’t help but pale.

Yan Xing, looking at the dust being kicked up outside the Eternal Domain and those Werewolves running with great strides, also felt sowhat anxious.

However, the Werewolf Warriors already in position behind the protective wall were extrely calm. They wore Tactical Vests, each pocket bulging with various equipnt Yan Xing had prepared for them. Their helts were reinforced, and their eyes were protected by dust goggles. Earphones were plugged into their ears, and a flail hung at their waists. In their hands, they held slingshots.

The fangs peeking from their mouths glead brightly, polished by Dog Chew Sticks, reflecting a cold light.
