Gao Yang felt a bit uneasy. After staring at Glolov for a mont, he said softly, "I’m sorry."

Glolov looked at Gao Yang with so surprise and said, "Why are you apologizing?"

Gao Yang replied bitterly, "Swordsman was your friend, wasn’t he?"

Glolov shook his head, placed a hand on Gao Yang’s shoulder, and said in a deep voice, "Being on good terms doesn’t an we are friends. Actually, Nate was right; rcenaries don’t really have friends."

Before Gao Yang could refute, Glolov continued, "Swordsman and I once fought side by side, and we cooperated quite well, so we were on good terms, but that’s all there is to it. We were never friends. As rcenaries, the person fighting alongside you today might beco your enemy tomorrow. Then, would you go easy on them?"

Glolov shook his head, looking helpless, and said, "An enemy is always an enemy, and an acquainted enemy is still an enemy. If you don’t kill them, they will kill you. Today, whether I knew it was Swordsman fighting with us or not doesn’t matter. I would still unhesitatingly shoot to kill him."

Gao Yang sighed, "I understand, okay, I just feel a bit sad for you and find it hard to accept."

Glolov smiled and said, "I’m not sad. I’ve long been accustod to it. The side a rcenary stands on depends on the employer. Right now we’re doing quite well, avoiding the rcenary fate as much as possible, but we’re still rcenaries, so this kind of thing can’t be avoided."

Patting Gao Yang’s shoulder vigorously, Glolov laughed and said, "I’m just a bit regretful, and indeed feel so sorrow for the death of acquaintances, but don’t mind it. I’m really used to it—this isn’t the first ti, nor will it be the last, so it’s nothing. After all, I don’t care myself, there are many things awaiting you to do, don’t dwell on this."

After speaking, Glolov turned and left, though he claid he didn’t care, but Gao Yang felt that Glolov’s back was quite desolate.

Gao Yang sighed and walked over to Salim, saying seriously, "Things here are settled, we need to leave quickly. Is there a place arranged for us to stay?"

Salim replied a bit awkwardly, "Well, I haven’t had ti to arrange it yet, I’ll notify them to arrange it now!"

"No worries, for now, let’s head back to the mountain; there’s already a camp there, just like that."

Salim appeared a bit troubled and embarrassed, saying, "Things here are sorted out, aren’t you planning to et Abdullah and them? There are many follow-up issues that need you guys to discuss to reach decisions. I think you should go now..."

Gao Yang interrupted Salim, firmly saying, "No, I’m a bit tired, I want to go back to the camp and rest a while. If there’s nothing important, I’m not going to see Abdullah. If there’s sothing important, he can co to ."

Gao Yang genuinely felt very tired for unknown reasons.

The Dagger Assault Team had already gathered their comrades’ bodies together; over a dozen pickups had arrived, and the bodies were lifted onto the trucks and stacked up. The trucks were filled with corpses, and those groaning lightly with pain.

Pointing at the injured, Gao Yang said to Salim, "What about them?"

Salim glanced at the wounded, responding in a deep voice, "Doctors will tend to them."

Gao Yang saw a soldier holding an injured comrade and crying. He sat in the pickup’s truck bed; the wounded’s head was on his lap, and though the injured didn’t look likely to die, the young soldier cried as if he had lost the person forever.

The young soldier kept calling for his brother.

Watching these soldiers used as cannon fodder, Gao Yang felt very uncomfortable, extrely uncomfortable. He kept telling himself what he did was right, yet he didn’t understand why he felt guilty.

Pointing with his hand, Gao Yang, with a calm deanor, said, "What’s the matter with them? It seems like his brother is dead, but to , he doesn’t seem to be on the brink of death."

Salim glanced over, expressing a slight regret, saying, "With such severe injuries, he’ll certainly die."

Thinking about Yen’s dical conditions and the Houthis Ard Forces still unable to control Sanaa City’s dical resources, Gao Yang’s heart trembled montarily, then he shook his head and said, "Forget it, I’ll handle these wounded. You take care of the fallen soldiers’ bodies."

Determined to take responsibility for the wounded, Gao Yang spoke into the radio, "Panda, also Fat Cat, I’m sorry to bother you again."

On the radio, Andy He responded with a bitter smile, "I’m used to it."

Albert replied soberly, "Although I’m accustod to not being...friendly with these people, it is my duty."

Not wasting a mont in treating the wounded, Gao Yang shouted loudly, "It’s not safe here, the enemy might return at any ti. Start the vehicles imdiately, send the wounded to our camp, hurry! Hurry! Quick action!"

Salim asked in bewildernt, "You want to treat these injured? Can you all manage?"

Gao Yang looked at Salim, saying, "Trust , I have the world’s best surgeons!"

Salim hesitantly said, "But you... do you have enough dicine?"

The Dagger Assault Team’s injured outnumbered Satan’s entire team, so Satan really didn’t have enough dicines.

Gao Yang, quite astonished, inquired, "You wouldn’t not even provide basic dications, would you?"

Salim coughed lightly, then with slightly awkward deanor said, "Uh, our hospital hasn’t been set up yet, after all, we’re just starting. Thus, we’ll send the injured to hospitals in Sanaa City for treatnt, though we really haven’t prepared any dicine, but no worries, I’ll imdiately have people get so from the hospital."

Gao Yang was silent for a mont, nodding and saying, "Bring the dicine quickly, also, I’ll figure out a solution myself first."

After speaking, Gao Yang shouted to those carrying the injured and the bodies, "Hey, you guys, who knows where the nearest hospital is?"

A Dagger Assault Team mber paused briefly before nodding, "I do."

Gao Yang pointed to that soldier, saying loudly, "Put down what you’re doing, co with us to the hospital!"

"What for? To send the wounded over? That’s probably not possible, the hospital is controlled by the governnt forces."

Gao Yang replied seriously, "No, not sending the injured, we’re going to raid for so dicine."

The soldier speaking with Gao Yang expressed in shock, "Raid for dicine? But that’s a military hospital."
