??992: Chapter 977: Satan’s Employee
992: Chapter 977: Satan’s Employee
The plane that delivered Gao Yang and his team left, and the plane bringing in a group of rcenaries led by Little Donnie arrived.
The plane landed on the runway and then taxied to the designated spot.
Gao Yang and his n were waiting outside, and since they were there to welco their own people, Farouk and his n did not show up, only the Satan’s were there to greet their employees.
When the plane’s door opened and Little Donnie disembarked first, he embraced Gao Yang before shouting to those aboard, “Everybody co on down.”
Little Donnie handed Gao Yang several sheets of paper, all filled with information about the rcenaries they had recruited.
As individuals of various heights, so curious and so evaluating, stepped off the plane one by one, they stood loosely grouped in front of Gao Yang.
Gao Yang cleared his throat and, raising the sheet with nas and characteristics, proclaid loudly, “Guys, welco.
I am the commander of the Satan rcenary Corps, the Ram.
That’s ; I am the Ram.
I’m sure those who recruited you have already explained the situation to you, so let’s save so ti.”
Gao Yang slapped the sheet in his hand and announced loudly, “I’m going to call the roll now, so let’s get an initial impression of each other.
Alright, Alcohol.”
A middle-aged man around his forties raised his hand and called out loudly, “Here!”
Bill Hines, nicknad Alcohol, height 183 centiters, weight 86 kilograms, weapon of choice M4A1, M9, Blaster, Assault soldier.
“Gale.”
“Here!
Boss”
Craig Philip, Canadian, nicknad Gale, height 178 centiters, weight 70 kilograms, Fire Assault Specialist.
“Air.”
“Right here, boss.”
Vasily Robukhov, nicknad Air, height 185 centiters, weight 88 kilograms, Russian, forr mber of the “Warrior” Special Forces, uses SVD, Marksman.
“Rubik’s Cube.”
“Present!”
Oskar Rubik, Norwegian, nicknad Rubik’s Cube, height 187 centiters, weight 90 kilograms, Machine Gunner, uses the paratrooper model M249.
“Loach.”
“Here.”
Li Qiu, nicknad Loach, no military background, height 175 centiters, weight 68 kilograms, 32 years old, no service history, a veteran rcenary with rich experience, uses an AK47, and his special skill is cooking!
After a confident and robust reply, Gao Yang couldn’t help but take a few more glances at Li Qiu because he ca from Huaxia and, moreover, he could cook.
Li Qiu looked older than his actual age, one of the shorter figures among a group of tall n, his body tanned and gleaming, giving off a languid lack of energy overall.
After looking at Li Qiu for a mont longer, Gao Yang continued, “Shotgun.”
“Here, sir.”
Jesse Lee, nicknad Shotgun, 180 centiters tall, weighing 75 kilograms, retired from the United States Marine Corps, Fire Assault Specialist, uses HK416.
“Clown.”
“Present.”
Tirado Escotido, nicknad Clown, height 173 centiters, weight 60 kilograms, no military service but fully military trained, three years of rcenary experience, excels in small space combat and has exceptional climbing abilities.
Looking at the Clown’s profile and then at the presenting individual, Gao Yang frowned because the one called Clown looked far too young.
“Clown, how old are you?”
“I’m twenty-two this year, boss.”
Gao Yang was skeptical of Clown’s response, as Clown appeared to be only about fifteen or sixteen years old, but now was not the ti for probing details.
After eyeing Tirado with suspicion, Gao Yang quickly called the next na.
“Red Feather.”
“Here!”
After a robust response, a very sturdy Indigenous man caught Gao Yang’s attention, prompting him to take a second look, as it was his first ti seeing an Indigenous rcenary.
Salika Tasako, nicknad Red Feather, height 186 centiters, weight 107 kilograms, uses various models of grenade launchers, FAL paratrooper rifles, no military experience but extrely rich combat experience in Europe.
The variety of individuals Little Donnie had brought was indeed diverse, even including an Indigenous person, but Gao Yang had no ti for reflection; he imdiately called the next na.
“Eagle Claw.”
“I’m right here.”
Vogel, nicknad Eagle Claw, Austrian, height 180 centiters, weight 75 kilograms, served in the Austrian Cobra Corps, joined the Thunderfire rcenary Corps after retirent, fought in nearly a hundred battles, rich in experience, uses a modified AUG (only uses personal weapons), prefers drum magazines to magazines and insists on having an M203PI grenade launcher under the gun.
Handgun CZ75, skilled in CQB combat.
People from the Cobra Corps are not bad, and they specialize in CQB combat.
Gao Yang took another look at Vogel; soone with extended indoor combat experience was just what he needed.
“Shotgun.”
“Present.”
Smith Vorch, nicknad Shotgun, is 176 centiters tall and weighs 77 kilograms.
He was forrly the captain of a special operations team in the police departnt and had founded an ultra-small rcenary group called Eagle.
In a battle with a squad from the Iron Madonna, all mbers except him were killed.
He is now a free rcenary, wielding the AA12.ATS15 and AR57 firearms.
Seeing Smith Vorch’s information, Gao Yang couldn’t help but nod in approval.
The man’s profile was detailed, and Little Donnie had already ntioned to him that this person joined for revenge.
Plus, his use of the AA12, a powerful fully automatic shotgun, was indeed eye-catching.
The next few people were quite interesting; Little Donnie had specially noted that they were acquaintances recomnded by Glolov, so Gao Yang paid particular attention to them.
“Wild Man.”
“Here.”
Mike Donovan, nicknad Wild Man, retired from the Third chanized Infantry Division Reconnaissance Battalion.
He had fought as a rcenary in Sierra Leone and knew Glolov.
After being shot, he was rescued by Ivan with Glolov’s cover.
He was a Fire Assault Specialist and quite capable.
The information about Mike was written very emotionally, not as formally as the others.
However, this was the last part, and after glancing at Mike, Gao Yang continued, “Flyer.”
“Present.”
Esmond Heckler, nicknad Flyer, a forr mber of the German GSG9.
He enjoyed parachuting, specialized in urban warfare, and used the G36, MP5A3, and USP.45 firearms.
“Blue Shield.”
“Present.”
Paul Tail, nicknad Blue Shield, forr mber of the Gendarrie Special Services from France, and close friend of the guy above, was adept at CQB.
His primary weapon was a riot shield paired with a GLOCK19 pistol, providing an extrely rare level of protection during forced indoor advances in the rcenary world.
Seeing that there was a person who used a shield as their primary weapon was surprising for Gao Yang.
Even though it was not commonly used, he was curious whether this Paul would be an asset or a liability.
After a brief chuckle, Gao Yang continued, “Tiger.”
“Present!”
Nisok Kraug, German, nicknad Tiger, had no service record but excelled at mountain and forest warfare.
Strictly speaking, Nisok was not well-suited for the terrain in Syria.
But since he was with Mike and the others, and as a qualified assault specialist, he was in.
Next up was a particularly peculiar presence, which Gao Yang had noticed early on.
Aside from Li Qiu, there was another Asian among those present, and now he finally saw this person’s information.
“Yellow Peril?”
“Haha, that’s .”
Gao Yang asked about this person’s nickna with a questioning tone.
Li Yunzhe, once part of the South Korean Marine Corps All-Weather Special Strike Group.
After retiring, he immigrated to Arica, joined Blackwater Company, then left to beco a free rcenary.
His weapon of choice was the SCAR-L assault rifle.
Gao Yang furrowed his brow.
Seeing Gao Yang, Li Jinfang, and Cui Bo all furrowing their brows, Li Yunzhe imdiately raised his hand and said, “Hey, there’s sothing I need to clarify.
I’m Korean, but I’m not a ‘stick’, I’m of Chinese descent, a Korean-blooded Chinese, and now an Arican-blooded Chinese—don’t get it wrong, okay?”
“Not a ‘stick’?”
“Definitely not!”
Gao Yang was inclined to ask in detail, but this wasn’t the ti, so he continued with a frown, “Military Dog!”
“Present.”
Treiler Smith, nicknad Military Dog, was 182 centiters tall and weighed 78 kilograms.
A forr mber of the United States Navy SEALs, he was proficient in various electronic devices and an expert in communications.
As a free rcenary, Treiler Smith was a communications expert, which ant he rarely had the opportunity to utilize his special skills.
Little Donnie brought him in as a specialist.
Lastly, there was one more person who looked calm and silent among the crowd, appearing to be over fifty years old.
Not young, with a gentle appearance, and indistinguishable from an ordinary person just by his deanor.
The more such a person there was, the more cautious Gao Yang beca.
In his experience, those who were older yet still rcenaries and didn’t look like typical hired guns were no easy marks.
After giving a glance to the last person, Gao Yang then loudly said, “Shadow.”
“Present.”
Yake, 180 centiters tall and weighing 70 kilograms, a forr mber of a British special forces unit.
After being wounded and retiring, he had visual impairnt in his right eye and limited mobility in his right hand.
But he was very formidable.
Seeing Yake’s information, Gao Yang felt increasingly certain of his assumption.
This man might not be considered disabled, but he was close to it.
However, since he could remain in the rcenary circle and was only described as “very formidable,” Gao Yang knew what he was about.
After calling the roll and everyone had responded, Gao Yang put the information behind him and said in a deep voice, “You are all veterans, so I won’t reiterate the rules.
What I want to remind you is that this operation will be unlike any you’ve undertaken before.
The people who used to pay you only told you what to do, and then you were free to act.
But this ti, your employer will fight alongside you.”
After speaking calmly, Gao Yang smiled and continued, “I want you to know that we are the Satan rcenary Corps.
Since you’re going to fight with us, you must show sufficient strength.
I only want the elite, not weaklings.
And since you’re going to fight alongside us, you must obey my commands.
All right, if you can’t accept my leadership, speak up now.
If there are any other questions, ask them now.”
