Chapter 30: Offering Oneself?
“Where… is this?”
“I feel… like I’ve been taken far away from my original world?”
The rmaid softly asked.
“Indeed, your feeling is not wrong.”
“This place is no longer the world you were in before.”
Chen Fan nodded.
“How did you know?”
“Weren’t you completely frozen in ice?”
Chen Fan was curious. Could she still perceive the outside world?
“Yes.”
“While I was in the eternal ice, there were tis I would wake up and could feel the outside…”
The rmaid nodded.
“Truly, a natural-born mage.”
Chen Fan silently praised the rmaid’s ntal strength.
“Do you know Eternal Magic?”
Chen Fan asked eagerly.
He really wanted to learn that magic.
“I don’t.”
“The ability to cast this magic cos from an ancient magic circle talisman I once acquired.”
“When I cast this magic, I had already given up hope, thinking no one could break the Eternal Magic.”
“I didn’t expect that not only did you break it, but you also healed my fatal wound.”
The rmaids were incredibly moved.
A miracle had happened to her, sothing that seed impossible.
“If you don’t mind, I am willing to offer myself in gratitude for your life-saving favor!”
The rmaid continued.
“Offer yourself?”
Chen Fan was taken aback by the rmaid’s determination.
Was this sothing a queen of such stature should be saying?
However, Chen Fan’s gaze instinctively fell to her fish body.
“Sir, the fish tail is a symbol of our clan’s purity.”
“Only after the first ti can we transform and grow human legs…”
The rmaid accepted Chen Fan’s gaze calmly, explaining with pride.
“This is… too incredible!”
Chen Fan murmured to himself.
How is this possible? Is this really how her transformation works?
It seed like a little too much…
“By the way, what is your na?”
Chen Fan asked.
“My na is Elizabeth…”
The rmaid softly replied.
“Elizabeth, that’s a beautiful na.”
“However, offering yourself, we can talk about that later.”
“You just woke up, so you should rest for now…”
“Right, tomorrow I’ll co by to learn about magic from you…”
Chen Fan took a deep breath and pushed aside his chaotic thoughts, trying to calm himself down.
“Oh…”
“Thank you, Sir.”
Elizabeth sighed in relief, though she felt a twinge of disappointnt in her heart.
“The conditions here are simple, for now, live in this lake. I’ll go back now.”
Chen Fan stood up and began walking away.
Elizabeth’s relieved expression was naturally caught by him.
As expected, even after binding, they still had their completely independent thoughts and absolute personalities.
This binding only ensured their absolute loyalty and never-ending devotion.
Their emotions were real—happiness, sadness, pride, disappointnt, anger, and joy.
“Sir, once you help transform, I can co ashore…”
As Chen Fan walked, he heard Elizabeth’s voice from behind, almost making him trip over his own feet.
He quickened his pace.
“The rmaid’s transformation, that should be exclusive to her world, right?”
Chen Fan shook his head.
“Next ti I find a living being, I hope it’s not soone with a tail and scales…”
Chen Fan silently complained.
However, when it ca to matters of the heart, he preferred letting things unfold naturally, without rushing.
“Pfft…”
“Such a cute young master.”
“Much more elegant than those so-called human aristocrats…”
Looking at Chen Fan’s retreating figure, Elizabeth smiled.
Clearly, she thought of the pompous nobles from her world.
Ti passed, and by now it was at least 9 PM.
When Chen Fan returned to the pavilion, dusa and Ba Xia had also co back one after the other.
They had gone to inspect the entire territory.
As strong ones and protectors of the land, they needed to familiarize themselves with the layout and environnt of the place, removing any potential hazards or dangers.
Chen Fan appreciated their actions and naturally did not stop them.
“Today, we purchased a lot of cultivation resources.”
“Starting from today, let’s officially begin our cultivation.”
“I’ll put all the resources in the pill room.”
“If you need anything, feel free to take it.”
In the living room, Chen Fan poured out piles of bottles and jars.
Most of them were blood qi pills, spirit qi pills, and the grades weren’t very high.
They were no longer of much use to high-level beings like dusa.
“Especially for you, Ba Xia.”
“Whether for your own recovery or for the divine egg in your belly, don’t hold back.”
Chen Fan instructed.
“Mm!”
“Thank you for your concern, my Lord…”
Ba Xia was deeply grateful, her eyes showing affection as she gently caressed her abdon.
All these years, she had indeed caused her child much hardship.
“Cui Beixi, your cultivation is too weak…”
“When you have ti, train with , or train with the Queen.”
“I hope that as you grow stronger, your battle song will have a true impact.”
Chen Fan smiled and said to Cui Beixi, who had lost her magical pet and was now the weakest.
“Rumble…”
Just then, Chen Fan felt a noise coming from the junkyard.
“I’m really lucky today…”
Chen Fan smiled slightly.
