Chapter 24: The Burst Water Pipe
“Okay…”
Cui Beiqi softly responded.
Cheng Fan had no intention of teasing her, yet his words still caused Cui Beiqi’s face to turn red.
She couldn’t help but glance at Queen dusa, her eyes full of envy.
Living in the human world with a tail was not easy.
After all, human living spaces were designed for human activities.
When she snapped back to reality, she noticed that Cheng Fan had already left. So, she followed his suggestion and only half-closed the door for herself.
Not wanting to make Cui Beiqi feel uncomfortable, Cheng Fan directly retreated to his room.
Having stayed up all night and not napping during the day, Cheng Fan felt truly tired. He imdiately lay down on his bed.
But as he relaxed, strange sounds from outside—the clattering of water—made him feel inexplicably restless.

“Master, we should first think about how to stop the water…”
After a long silence, Queen dusa seed unable to bear it any longer and gently nudged Cheng Fan, reminding him.

Cheng Fan snapped back to reality, moved his gaze away, and walked purposefully toward the main water valve. He twisted the switch, and the spraying water instantly stopped.
“Wow, that’s amazing…”
The others finally understood.
“It’s actually quite simple.”
“It’s just that you weren’t familiar with it, and in your panic, you couldn’t find the shut-off valve.”
Cheng Fan smiled and said, “Your clothes are all wet. Let find sothing new for you…”
He then returned to his room, dug out so clothes, and handed them to dusa to give to Cui Beiqi.
“I’ll fix the pipe.”
Once Cui Beiqi had changed, Cheng Fan went to the burst pipe area.
It was quite a coincidence that the pipe had burst.
However, for Cheng Fan, repairing it was as easy as breathing.

“You all continue. I’ll go back to sleep now…”
Cheng Fan yawned and returned to his room. He lay back down and closed his eyes.

His mind was filled with thoughts.

The image of the cracked scales and the perfect covering scales flashed in his mind.

Soon, Cheng Fan fell into a deep sleep.
He slept straight through until morning. After making breakfast for the four of them,
dusa and the others slowly woke up.
With no other choice, Cheng Fan had to patiently teach them how to use high-tech toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Cheng Fan always had spare toothbrushes, so there was no need to buy new ones, saving him ti.
The girls were all amazed.
In their world, they had thods of brushing their teeth and gargling, but the tools and thods were quite different.
“Ba Xia, Cui Beiqi, you stay ho today. I’m going out with the Queen to do so shopping.”
After breakfast, Cheng Fan made arrangents.
Ba Xia was too weak and needed to rest and cultivate.
